Palin: Christie´s ´Bridgegate´ Nothing

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said the traffic scandal engulfing Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie was nothing compared to President Barack Obama´s National Security Agency spying scandals or the Benghazi scandal that resulted in the death of four Americans in 2012. “Governor Chris Christie’s scandal is nothing in comparison to what the leadership in the White House has engaged in and covered up,” Palin told Inside Edition on Friday. Unlike Obama, Christie on Thursday ousted two of his top aides responsible for the traffic jam, which he announced in a press conference that lasted nearly two hours. Palin did

While that´s true, I think we have to expect a higher standard than the Democrats do. I don´t think all the information is out, but if he really abused his position for political gain, that disqualifies him for President as a Republican.

It´s up to the people of New Jersey to decide if they want him for Governor.

Christi had an interesting gaffe first noted by Rush Limbaugh. At the press conference Christi said first he knew about the bridge shutdown was when he was contacted and told to read the paper. But, later in answer to a question he indicated he had had a couple of sleepless nights worrying about the bridge closure. Therefore saying he was worrying about the bridge closure Before he was told about it.

It´s funny how lawsuits pop up out of thin air when a republican is supposedly at fault for something, while there been no such class action lawsuits against Obama for his lies and misrepresentations of Obamacare. If Obama deceived voters into voting for his false promises, how do we know if Romney wouldn´t have won if people new the truth?

I guess you can be compensated for having to sit in a car too long but now going uninsured because the government intentionally made the premiums unaffordable. Just the word affordable should be a cause of action.

The word affordable shouldn´t even be used in a law because it´s not definable and it´s all relative to an individual´s personal situation.A government overlord could say if you quit this that or the other,it would become affordable.

By trying to cover-up The Obama Scandals the MSM has become the biggest scandal of all. Obeying orders from the White House disqualifies the MSM from any accusations about their "free speech", as squelching free speech is now the prime mission of the MSM. Why they are not being sued out the wazoo is beyond me.

U.S. military assets in the Black Sea are on high alert amid reports Ukraine troops traded gunfire Tuesday with pro-Russian militants. A journalist with Associated Press reported intense gunfire at an airport in eastern Ukraine after the government sent in army troops to retake control from militiamen loyal to Russian President Vladimir Putin. The mayor of Kramatorsk told the Associated Press that Ukrainian troops have now occupied the military airport and are blocking its entrance. The action comes a day after the revelation a Russian fighter jetted buzzed a U.S.S. destroyer multiple times over the Black Sea.

House Democrats are rolling out a new strategy to target 30 House Republicans on immigration reform during the two-week congressional recess, marking a last-ditch effort to force GOP action on a legislative overhaul. The new pressure tactic includes a memo distributed to those 30 districts held by Republicans who have expressed public support for some sort of immigration reform, many of them backing a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented immigrants in the United States. Democrats hope the document — which highlights statements made by those Republicans in favor of reform, as well as data showing the district-specific economic

Scott Walker has a 16 point lead (56-40) among likely voters in his race for governor, according to a poll from Wisconsin Public Radio/St. Norbert’s. Among registered voters, his lead is essentially the same (55-40). The survey was conducted between March 24 and April 3. A Marquette University survey conducted between March 20-23 also showed Walker with a nice, though smaller, lead. In that poll, Walker outdistanced Democrat Mary Burke 48-41. Revealingly, Walker fares well in an electorate that does not seem particularly conservative and that, if anything, appears to be slightly to the left of American voters in general.

Note: This post was inspired by the #DropDropbox campaign. On March 20 the University of California, Irvine, announced that Barack Obama will give the commence address to its class of 2014. This is deeply disturbing, and anyone—or any university—who values ethics should be concerned. Why is this? Because he was part of the failed Obama administration? Because he is a Democrat and we should hate Democrats? No. This is not an issue of partisanship. It makes sense that UC Irvine would want an accomplished, high-level, well-connected individual as their commencement speaker. There is no doubt that Barack Obama is an

When Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee Steve Israel (N.Y.) was asked Sunday whether he thinks his Republican colleagues are racist, he responded with a frankness that is rare in politics and even less common when it comes to sensitive issues like race. "Not all of them, no, of course not," Israel said on CNN´s "State of the Union." "But to a significant extent, the Republican base does have elements that are animated by racism. And that´s unfortunate." Israel´s not the only high-ranking Democrat to advance some version of that argument recently. Three percent said their federal taxes are "too low." Gallup says the percentage who say their taxes are "too high" has hovered around 50 percent since 2003, although the current 52 percent is up from the 46 percent who said "too high" two years ago. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion.
