Christie’s Waterloo
New York Daily News, by Editorial

Original Article

In the best possible light, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie built a top staff of lying thugs who threatened lives and safety to serve his political ends. If not, Christie is a lying thug himself. Emails and text messages among his close aides made public Wednesday documented that in September they gleefully engineered George Washington Bridge lane closures to punish the Democratic mayor of Fort Lee for failing to endorse their boss’ reelection. Local officials say the gridlock they caused delayed ambulances in responding to four calls, including one involving an unconscious 91-year-old woman who later died. Christie’s presidential ambitions are all but

Comments:
Man, Christie sure could use a little help from Obama right now. (Cue the Jeopardy theme) Christie could join the democrat party tonight and all would be forgiven. Also, Watch Jeb pop up in the next few weeks.

We are about to see if Governor Christie is this great bold leader that we are always told he is - So, if he is really outraged, the appropriate person will be FIRED. If he does it, I will owe him an apology for thinking he is just another political hack.

The Governor is getting a taste of the news coverage he can expect if he does try for the Presidential office. He was useful in helping re-elect the current office holder, now he is just a target.

This could be very good news.

The NJ Lt. Governor is Kim McFadden Guadagno - - who appears to be a true conservative.

When Fatso is rolled out the door - - maybe she´ll do some good for Joisey. Bye-bye Fat Boy!

Why am I surprised to hear that New Jersey Gov plays hardball, thug politics? He´s a politician in the mold of the Great Obama. Nothing new here...just Chicago politics played in New Jersey.

Us Tea Partiers saw this all along. Christie uses government for his own ends rather than the good of the people. Just like all the liberals do.

Obama uses the full force of the federal government to close politically targeted national parks and memorials during his government shut down without a peep from the MSM and is hailed as the victor in that squabble, yet cubsie-ubsie is political toast for doing pretty much the same thing on a much smaller level.

In any event having this RINO taken out now only provides more opportunity for a real conservative to come to the fore.

Once again, the schadenfreude of the Groupthinkers watching Christie being destroyed overshadows the real message here.

In three weeks, the NY Times has twice gone after Christie while rewriting Hillary´s Benghazi-and-I story. Like puppy dogs, the MSM has amplified the NYT spin. No matter who arises next as the lead Republican candidate, we can expect the same treatment from the NYT and sympathetic commotion from the MSM. As much as we don´t like to admit it, they are listened to.

Those who take tactical pleasure through ad hominem attacks on candidates they disapprove of would do well to focus on the strategic question of how to overcome the MSM and generate electoral majorities outside of the South.

The loathsome MSM repays Christie for helping Lightworker win reelection in 2012. The lesson here about befriending Democrats (always followed by getting knifed in the back by the people of "tolerance" and "compassion") should be obvious, but Republicans will never, ever learn it.

NEW YORK -- Fast-food protests are planned for several U.S. cities Tuesday as labor organizers look to bring attention to practices they say illegally deprive workers of their wages. The protests are planned for about 30 cities, but it´s not clear what the scope of the turnout will be. It´s part of an ongoing campaign by labor groups to build support for pay of $15 an hour and bring attention to the rights of low-wage workers. Organizers have also been referring workers to attorneys, who filed lawsuits in three states last week saying McDonald´s was stealing their wages in a

Maybe Barack Obama should have given Zach Galifianakis an off-ramp, like the one he keeps trying to offer Vladimir Putin. Those were some pretty barbed lines the president unloaded on the comic actor last week in their semi-parodic "Between Two Ferns" interview. In case you´re wondering why I´m writing about this—well, I am too. A Malaysian jetliner has vanished into thin air, while Russia has completed its seizure of Crimea and may yet invade other parts of Ukraine. Serious stuff, you might say. Error 404: U.S. officials plan to relinquish federal control over the administration of the Internet to something called the "global Internet community," which is full of tyrants to whom the free flow of information is a threat. In the wake of the NSA surveillance scandal, some might not be inclined to defend federal involvement in anything related to the flow of information between individuals. But the decision announced Friday by the Commerce Department to give up next year its oversight of Icann, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, to the "global Internet community" is a bad idea. Secession: Following Sunday´s forced referendum and despite U.S. and European Union sanctions, it looks like Russia will succeed in separating Crimea from Ukraine. Are the borders of every country now up for grabs? We´ve heard all the arguments, including that Crimea´s population is 58% Russian, and that it was only in 1954, during the Soviet era under Nikita Khrushchev — himself a Ukrainian — that it became part of Ukraine. But allowing Crimea to be pried away from Ukraine by threat of force after Russia´s fraudulent referendum sends a signal to disgruntled regions of the world that, when it comes to borders,
