Noted Global Warming Expert Al Sharpton

Independent Journal Review, by Mike Miller

MSNBC’s Al Sharpton dressed in a lab coat and stood behind fake test tubes in front of a cartoon setting on Friday and lectured everyone from Republicans to Fox News about the “facts” of “global waming.” Sharpton used part of his “Politics Nation: Science Lab” segment on MSNBC on Friday to exploit the arctic winter freeze hitting much of the country this weekend: “These right wingers are boiling over with denial. Just because it snows in winter doesn’t mean the planet isn’t getting warmer. Remember a UN panel said there’s a 90 percent probability that humans are the primary cause of global

Exactly. The more they do stuff like this the more they discredit themselves...keep going to the poles trying to find a lack of ice and get stuck in it...keep blaming everything bad on ´climate change´, keep ignoring and smearing scientists who disagree with you, keep cooking and falsifying your data (and get caught at it). It would be funny if it weren´t so dangerous to the well-being of our civilized world.

I saw the video earlier today. The bubbling flasks appear to have dry ice in them. I doubt anyone associated with MSNBC could equate dry ice with with the warming gas CO2. but that is exactly what it is. Thus we have the Rev ranting about globull warming while adding CO2 to the atmosphere.

Exactly forty years ago Patricia Hearst stunned the nation when she turned up as a bank robber, a mere two months after she was kidnapped by the violent cult that called itself “The Symbionese Liberation Army.” Her astonishing transformation was documented by bank cameras on April 15, 1974. There she was — granddaughter of William Randolph “Citizen Kane” Hearst — wielding a sawed-off assault rifle and terrorizing people in a bank. A few years ago, the corruption convictions of several prominent plaintiffs´ lawyers put a spotlight on dishonesty in American civil courts. Now the sleaze has burst back into the news with cases involving Chevron and Dole Food Co., this time with an international twist. Last month, a federal court in Manhattan found that a U.S. plaintiffs´ lawyer had masterminded a multibillion dollar fraud and extortion scheme against Chevron in Ecuador. Three days later, a California appellate court affirmed the dismissal of a lawsuit against Dole as a "fraud on the court" perpetrated by U.S. and Nicaraguan plaintiffs´ lawyers. The Obama administration is just fraud all the way down. U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration is concerned that a crucial United Nations report on climate science may be too harsh in assessing the cost of fighting global warming. Such a finding may lower the incentive for the world to reduce fossil fuel pollution and feed the arguments of those skeptical about whether it’s worth spending money to curtail rising temperatures. Global temperatures haven’t risen in 15 years, but never mind that. Pay no attention to the Sun’s role in our climate. The UN report is set for release next week. Plenty of time to

As articulated by champions like Ralph Nader and Molly Ivins, the progressive label was both a way to get out from under the generation-old baggage of liberal-a term Ronald Reagan and others had turned into an epithet-and to differentiate lefties from seemingly apologetic triangulators like Bill Clinton and

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day.
