ABC, NBC Mum on Why Gay
Wedding on Rose Parade Float
Wasn’t Part of TV Coverage

Cybercast News Service, by Penny Starr

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 1/3/2014 6:23:04 PM

The two television networks – ABC and NBC – that covered the 2014 Tournament of Roses parade live on Jan. 1 are not saying why the wedding of two men atop the AIDS Healthcare Foundation’s float was not part of their programming viewed by more than 60 million people around the world. When CNSNews.com asked whether the wedding was covered and, if not, why not, ABC’s press office said there would be no official statement about the event and cited technical issues. NBC did not respond to the questions. ABC ran a news article about the gay wedding on Jan.

Comments:
Isn´t that rich. The ones who are always shoving those issues down our throats and they don´t show it. Has GLAAD attacked them yet? HGTV and Hallmark both showed the float with little fanfare.

while I have no direct knowledge that such was done my suspicion is "word came down from above" at the last minute to "tone it down", after the redhead and metro 360 debacle overnight on CNN in the ratings following the Robertson/Duck backlash it looks like a few might have been aware that there is a tipping point after which its all downhill...

Perhaps next year we can be treated to a Tournament of Roses parade with several needle-using drug addicts riding on a Hepatitis Foundation float, or several winos riding an AA float.

Having grown up in Pasadena, I recall much decadnece on Orange Grove the night before the parade (and as a youth I wished I were a part), but a gay marriage in the parade would not have been accepted. Unfortunately, it seems that Pasadena, along with the rest of urban California has abdicated any sense of objective morality. Perhaps there is a "remnant" in California that can help to return it to a sense of responsibility, but I am doubtful.

I contacted The Tournament of Roses and told them I will not watch the parade because of the "gay wedding" Since I wanted to watch the parade to see the beautiful float of RFD TV I contacted RFD´s president and told him I would not watch because of the gay float, he immediately notified me that I should watch the parade on RFD TV, as that gay wedding float would not be shown. I watched the parade on RFD and was pleasantly pleased with their version and I did see the beautiful RFD float.

I didn´t watch The Parade for the first time in my life. I sent the article posted here a few days before the 1st to my email list and declared my intention not to watch. Perhaps some of my friends also didn´t watch, so I agree with #12´s analysis.

Tin Foil Hat On: #2´s mention of the Duck-off put me in mind of the GQ interview. Several Ldotters pointed out how ludicrous it was for GQ, a metrosexual men´s mag, to want to interview Phil Robertson, a hunter whose appearance is more ZZ Top than Leonardo DiCaprio. I also remember a post mentioning that an A&E representative was present during Phil´s interview.

The GQ article came out the week before Christmas. Suppose the gay agenda game plan was to use the take-down of Daddy Duck to plow the field before the big wedding day. The masses would have just seen a good Christian man torn apart by the media lions and that would shy them away from voicing objections. To the communists silence is consent.

But, boy howdy, Papa Phil pulled a play that took it into the end zone and put the propagandists on defense. The legacy networks chickened out.

Happy, happy, happy.

Millions of individuals who recently entrusted personal, medical, and financial information to the federal government while enrolling in Obamacare via Healthcare.gov may find a recent trend reported by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) rather unsettling. The number of security breaches involving Personally Identifiable Information (PII) at federal agencies more than doubled in recent years, increasing from 10,481 in 2009 to 25,566 in 2013. Perhaps even more disturbing, the GOA found that "none of the seven agencies [in a related study] consistently documented lessons learned from PII breaches."
