City leaders excoriate a
good man in Bloomberg

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 1/2/2014 8:03:43 AM

During his 12 years as mayor, Michael Bloomberg provoked in me admiration and anger, passionate support and dismissive ridicule. But never once did I feel sorry for him.Until yesterday. No man or woman who has done for New York what he has done should have to sit still while an avalanche of smears, lies and distortions rains down on him. He deserved better than the disgraceful drubbing he took at his successor’s inauguration.Mayor Bill de Blasio and his entourage of “progressives” were as cold as the weather. Shame on them. Are their hearts made of stone? Have they no manners? Not

Comments:
The headline in the hard copy of the NY Post calls these graceless people "Shameless buffoons....."

Can they say no? Of course they can. They can pack up and move to Hoboken. Then who will be left to pay the freight? And after de Blasio returns NYC to the bad old days of Dinkens, the next mayor will have license to to treat de Blasio the same way de Blasio and his pack of buffoons treated Bloomberg.

I do feel sorry for the likes of our hosts here at Lucianne, and other good hardworking citizens who are stuck in it. I realize you didn´t vote for this, and I realize you´re going to suffer right along with the ones who did vote for it, and I feel for you.

Bloomers left a time bomb with no way to diffuse by the new commie mayor.

There are union contracts that were never negotiated and now wait for deB settle.

When the sanitation workers began making unreasonable demands on Rudy he threatened to privatize. The unions got the message.

deB will bring NYC to Detroit levels.

When a country has only one functioning political party this is what happens. California led the way in a world without Republicans. It wouldn´t be hard to have a two party system, but politicians who start out thinking that eventually give in. If they move an inch in any direction they run into George Soros and his money. The US just needs to get out of the UN immediately, end all involvement in the CO2 and climate industry, eliminate at least 3 federal agencies, and seal the borders. You could do that in one day.

Bloomberg is a Democrat in disguise. What the progressives did to Bloomberg is right out of the liberal Democrat play book these days. Bloomberg should have known that was coming, as he surely watched as the liberal Democrats fraudulently trashed Romney´s personal and professional reputations during the run up to the last Presidential election. Bloomberg is a billionaire and can certainly live out his life in pleasant places like Bermuda far from the communist storm that is about to overtake New York City.

Two years before the Boston Marathon bombing, the Russian government concealed key information on one of the killers that might have thwarted the attack, a new report charges.Kremlin officials intercepted a phone conversation in which Tamerlan Tsarnaev discussed Islamic jihad with his mother, but they withheld the information from the FBI, according to the U.S. inspector general report that comes as the one-year anniversary of the bombing approaches. Had the FBI been privy to the red-flag phone call, it would have prompted the bureau to take an extensive look at Tsarnaev, according to The New York Times. “Had they known what the

Fears that high-speed traders have been rigging the U.S. stock market went mainstream last week thanks to allegations in a book by financial author Michael Lewis, but there may be a more serious threat to investors: the increasing amount of trading that happens outside of exchanges. Some former regulators and academics say so much trading is now happening away from exchanges that publicly quoted prices for stocks on exchanges may no longer properly reflect where the market is. And this problem could cost investors far more money than any shenanigans related to high frequency trading. When the average investor, or even

After his health-care law surpassed the low-ball enrollment target of 7 million, President Obama staged a Rose Garden rally and zinged doubters: “Armageddon has not arrived.” At least he did not declare: “Mission Accomplished.”The country is years from knowing whether Obama’s overhaul of the health-care system fulfills the promise of delivering universal coverage. While large numbers of Americans have found the program very advantageous, including people who were formerly uninsured, many others have been forced to change plans or change doctors — contrary to Obama’s repeated promises.Obama tacitly admits the unintended consequences every time he waives a deadline or mandate in

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

The author of the Twilight of Abundance, David Archibald, sent an email a few days ago, saying “there is a whole new world coming.” Archibald, who’s an Australian, warns in his book that the world is running out of food, energy and security.
