Providing for common defense

Washington Times, by Rowan Scarborough

Original Article

As the armed forces shrink and withdraw from some global hot spots, their agenda for the battle of the sexes grows. The Pentagon under the Obama administration has devoted considerable hours in public and private to sorting out same-sex relationships, the roles of women in the foxhole and ways to stop sexual assaults. Now, another issue has arisen: gender transformation. The sexual revolution has some traditionalists wondering whether the Pentagon is taking its eye off the ball — the enemy. “Every conceivable form of PC is being enforced upon our hard-pressed military with a zeal that only a Russian army

So being sensitive to transgenders is more important than winning wars. It´s enough to make you vomit.

Women, God love ´em (Lord knows I do),should simply go from wherever they are today and take over Seal Team Six tomorrow. Let me know how they did on their first mission against a high value target. When no one returns, give the next team to all gays and let me know how they did on their first mission.

I think it´s time for a military coup in this country before all of our forces are issued pink panties and pea shooters.

Why the consternation? Sure "providing for the common defense" is enunciated in the Constitution. But this policy is also effectively what was voted for, twice. He is what he said he was. It´s Obama´s version of "Mission Accomplished". This is the price we all pay for sheltering and not teaching Obama´s younger voters the real truths of history. Somewhere Santayana smiles, nods and laughs.

Since they are pulling the ground forces out of direct combat in Afghanistan, they can lower the standards claiming that traditional standards in ground forces are discriminatory against favored groups and fake it in peacetime until the balloon goes up sometime in the future. If the progressives have their way the future US military will not have the capabilities to intervene in foreign wars so that the consist of whatever forces remain will not matter.

The Left, as Bill Clinton confirmed, loathes the US military. The only American defense it could ever tolerate is a defense completely neutered and unable to execute its most basic functions. The Left, our AWOL, anti-American "commander in chief" included, wants surrender to American enemies, not victory for freedom. Turning the troops into "sensitive" sissies would be a logical step toward that goal.

Could Scripture be any more precise?

Socialism´s real goal is to make every one equally miserable.Forced diversity in government hiring is reverse discrimination but who cares.

The rabid feminist left really hates a male dominated society,so what they´re doing is feminizing boys and men down to the point they´re equal with women.Feminizing the military is these type people´s ultimate dream because it´s worse case male aggression.I wonder what the reaction would be if someone proposed including women in selective service?.

Remember after the Abdul Grab prison scandal,we found out the commanding general over the prisons was a woman general. She claimed she didn´t know what was going on the the prisons because men in the arena wouldn´t let her in to see.

She eventually wrote a book airing her grievances about the mean old men in the military.I don´t feel like digging in about her but it wouldn´t surprise me if she moved up the ranks while Bubba was president and who knows, maybe the duty roster put her up for that job.

The on going assault on football and baseball players with pink bats are all designed to beat back male aggression and or supremacy.

They tried forcing gay scoutmasters on the Boy Scouts and when that failed they pushed to allow gay troop members.I really don´t believe a kid 9 or 10 really knows what gay is and it could be some parents thinking if they have a gay kid they´re some form of perverse hero, like Warren Beatty and his wife and their bizarro kid..

You have to remember that Obama brought Hagel into the US Dept of Defense because he knew that Hagel would be his "Yes man" 100% in the liberal Democrat mission to dismantle the military.

Obama and Hagel have been hiding behind the illusion that Hagel is a big time former Republican Senator from Nebraska. The true facts about how Hagel became a former Senator are that once the Nebraska electorate figured out that Hagel was really a big time RINO he became unelectable out there and simply gave up his seat. He has not lived in Nebraska for decades anyway.

Social Security stops trying

The Social Security Administration announced Monday that it will immediately cease efforts to collect on taxpayers’ debts to the government that are more than 10 years old. The action comes after The Washington Post reported that the government was seizing state and federal tax refunds that were on their way to about 400,000 Americans who had relatives who owed money to Social Security. In many cases, the people whose refunds were intercepted had never heard of any debt, and the debts dated as far back as the middle of the past century. “I have directed an immediate halt to further

Democrats have had a recurring problem in special elections this year: Their voters aren’t turning out. If a weak economy and continued Obamacare problems persist, the November elections could be a disaster for Democrats. Last week, Democrats lost two special elections they weren’t planning to. Arlington, Va., is a classic wealthy ObamaTown, filled with government workers and limousine liberals. Mitt Romney won only 29 percent of the vote in 2012. But last Tuesday, Democrats lost their first election for the five-member Arlington County Board in 15 years when John Vihstadt, a Republican running as an independent, won a vacancy on

On the defensive about their prospects in the midterm elections this fall, congressional Democrats have spent all of April savaging the Republican budget proposal, decrying the Koch brothers and championing a series of bills meant to ingratiate themselves to struggling middle-class voters. Republicans, they insist, are the party of special interests. It has been a classic Washington messaging campaign for these partisan

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Struggling homeowners across the country could face significant new tax bills if they receive mortgage relief from their banks, a prospect that threatens to slow the housing recovery and put further strain on distressed borrowers. The collapse of the housing market and plunging home prices left millions of people stuck owing more on their mortgages than their homes were worth. Some have worked with their banks to reduce the loan amount to avoid foreclosure or enable a sale. In 2007, Congress adopted a law that spared those homeowners from being taxed on the amount of the loan that was forgiven. But

Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. Stand-up comedian Bill Maher called Sarah Palin a c–t and a tw-t, but suffered no ill consequences. David Letterman joked on air that Sarah Palin’s 14-year-old daughter had had sex with Alex Rodriguez during a New York Yankees game. There was no downside to that either.
