Nominating Our Democrat
American Thinker, by Bruce Walker

Original Article

Posted By:Piercentire, 1/1/2014 3:53:22 AM

The two major political parties´ presidential nomination campaigns will begin before we know it. The Republican nomination seems wide open, but Mrs. William Jefferson Clinton seems headed for a bloodless coronation. It need not be so, and it should not be so. [Snip] Now consider this: twenty states have "open" primaries, in which voters from either political party can cast a ballot in the Democrat presidential primary.

Great idea. Turn the tables on the Democrats. Let´s vote for Ted Cruz...for the Democrats´ nominee for President.

Didn´t this idea fail under Rush Limbaugh´s Operation Chaos? I may have the terminology wrong, but it didn´t work. There´s no way I´m entering a Dem primary booth to vote.

Operation Chaos did work up to a point - it kept Hillary in the race a lot longer and forced both she and zippy to waste a lot more demoncrat cash battling each other. And that was the plan since, by then, everyone knew that the left would choose the black guy over the white woman. Political correctness demanded it.

Her Heinous is a broom-in again, just like last time, unless an even freakier freak than Obama [if that is his real name] crawls out on the stage and entrances the Donks with their failures, unsuitability for office and "charm."

Maybe a muslim of unspecified gender and a secret past.

Ooops, that´s already been done.

Madám Rodham is the favorite now because her old man put together a well funded PR machine that is keeping her name on everybody´s lips at this early stage.
She won´t get the nomination in ´16 for the same reason she lost to the Magic Negro in ´08 . . . . She´s boring, vapid, old, untrustworthy, laden with a caboose full of negative baggage and has a face that looks like an old catcher´s mitt.

But then again, the democrat electorate is comprised of mental retards, so who the hell knows.

In this episode, a rare collision of the Haggler and the news. Our letter comes from a couple who have been trying for months to sign up for health insurance through Healthcare.gov, also known as the Obamacare website. And Monday, March 31, is the enrollment deadline, though the administration recently announced exemptions for people who had trouble signing up. [Snip] We have been told on successive calls that there is no logical explanation for this, and that our complaint will be “elevated” and “expedited.” I write this in mid-March. Mindy has had no health coverage since Jan. 1.

Barack Obama has announced yet another grand initiative to try and prop up an administration crippled and hobbled by its own ineptitude. Remember the stimulus that was supposed to create all those shovel-ready jobs? That didn’t work, so he tried a "green jobs initiative" – another bust. More recently “economic equality” and a minimum-wage increase was shelved by Harry Reid, who could barely get half of his party to sign on to it. And my favorite, the Affordable Care Act, or what I like to call the “if you like your doctor you can keep him” bill …

Jonathan Turley, faithful Obama supporter and liberal professor of constitutional law at Sandra Fluke´s alma mater, Georgetown University Law School, is sounding the alarm that "a system in which a single individual is allowed to rewrite legislation or ignore legislation is a system that borders on authoritarianism." Question for Mr. Turley: what kind of constitutional law professor votes for an inexperienced community organizer who believes that the U.S. Constitution is "fundamentally flawed" in the first place?

Sundays were the hardest day of the week for Peter Tiboris. Weekdays were focused on his business as a wealth management adviser in New York. Saturdays were often spent on the town with a group of close friends or an eligible bachelorette. But on Sundays, the world slowed down, and Mr. Tiboris’s thoughts turned inward. “Sundays are pretty lonely for a single person,” said Mr. Tiboris, 34, who yearned for someone with whom he could effortlessly share life’s quiet moments, someone who could make him smile just by being in the same room.

Showing How Government Fails

The debacle of ObamaCare may do what conservatives have been trying to do for a long time: show ordinary Americans the depth of government incompetence. Businesses have grasped since FDR the sting of the quip "I´m from the government -- I´m here to help you." The hyper-regulation by the federal government of nearly every aspect of commerce and industry through an ever-growing leviathan of laws, regulations, judicial decisions, and executive actions has stunted and even crippled huge swaths of private enterprise in America.

Liberal opinion writers who feel duty-bound to defend President Obama’s signature health-care reform law have been quite creative in trying to blame the GOP for the flaws in what was a law passed by Democrats against bipartisan and public opposition. The most recent narrative, that Republicans are “sabotaging” the law, is quite clearly nonsensical. But they are opinion writers, so we can understand their efforts to spin the policy failure.[Snip]This whole process, of advocating for the concerns of their constituents and then taking part in the legislative process, is a pretty basic part of congressional work.

Rush Limbaugh has come to the pragmatic conclusion that, based on the current facts (i.e., no absolute smoking gun linking any of the current scandals directly to President Obama), that impeachment would not only be futile, but also counterproductive. I tend to agree. Like it or not, anyone supporting or participating in the impeachment process will be tarred a "racist" and, despite the outcome, Obama will forever be personified as a predictable victim of racism.

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as
