Nuclear deal to be
implemented in January - Iran

RIA Novosti [Moscow, Russia], by Staff

Original Article

Following an intense round of negotiation between the P5+1 and Iran, participating countries have reportedly agreed to the implementation of an interim agreement on Iran’s nuclear program in late January, an Iranian official announced. There is no official confirmation by the delegates, but Iranian nuclear negotiator Hamid Baeidinejad was quoted as saying that a date was agreed upon during the talks on Tuesday. "Based on the conclusions the talks held with expert delegations, the implementation of the Geneva accord will start at the end of January," Baeidinejad was quoted as saying by Iranian Press TV.

Comments:
What is confusing are the threats by the Iranians. They claim to be making the "peaceful" type nuclear fuel, which is currently at 20% uranium enrichment to be 5% when Kerry/0bama deal is done. BUT, if we keep sanctioning them, they will blackmail US by going to 60% enrichment. Huh?

The deadlines in the Syrian WMD destruction have come and gone with barely a mention in the media. The reason is nobody takes Obama seriously. All Iran is doing is buying time and when another deadline comes and goes, nobody will notice with the possible exception of Israel. This deal will be loaded with fine print and loopholes or Iran wouldn´t have agreed to them.

Rand Paul’s political action committee just announced that the Kentucky senator is suing President Obama. Paul will file his lawsuit on Wednesday morning at the U.S. District Court in D.C., joined by former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli and FreedomWorks president Matt Kibbe. The class-action lawsuit will be filed against Obama, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, Director of the National Security Agency Keith Alexander and FBI Director James Comey. Tuscon - A Mexican man was sentenced to 30 years in prison Monday for Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry´s slaying, which led to the unraveling of the failed federal gun-tracking operation known as Fast and Furious. Manuel Osorio-Arellanes, 37, who pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in October 2012 in exchange for avoiding the death penalty, apologized in court. "I regret what happened, sir," Osorio-Arellanes told the judge in Spanish. "I too was hurt. I don´t know what else to say. Please forgive me." He was part of a group of bandits who engaged in a shootout with Terry and three other Border Patrol agents in southern Arizona,

Of course it´s too early to talk about 2016. Now that we´ve gotten that out of the way... The most interesting dynamic so far is that the Democrats are behaving like Republicans — and vice versa. Since 1940, with the arguable exception of Barry Goldwater, Republicans have nominated the guy next in line. Thomas Dewey almost beat Wendell Willkie for the nomination in 1940, so in 1944 — and 1948 — it was his turn. Dwight Eisenhower, whom both parties wanted as their nominee, was a special case, given that whole invading-Europe-and-defeating-Hitler thing. Richard Nixon was Ike's vice president in 1960, and in 1968

Children with cancer ´denied

EU rules must be changed to allow more testing of potentially life-saving cancer drugs on children, say experts. The UK´s Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) says the current system acts as a disincentive to drug companies who can seek waivers to avoid doing the trials. Of 28 new cancer drugs approved in the EU for adults since 2007, 26 could potentially work in children, but 14 have been exempted from child testing. The ICR wants these "class waivers" to be scrapped. The European Commission is considering whether to change its guidelines.

House Republicans return to Washington on Monday still struggling to find a path to raising the Treasury Department’s borrowing authority, but the normally raucous caucus is in unusual agreement that the best option is to put the white-knuckle confrontations of recent fiscal wars behind them. Facing a timeline that leaves no room for trial and error, some party leaders were advocating a debt-ceiling solution that would wrap several popular, must-pass items around a provision to extend the federal government’s borrowing authority beyond the November midterm elections. That approach has drawn support from some surprising quarters,

In the midst of a busy 2012 election cycle, Missouri Senate candidate Todd Akin´s offhand remark to a local television station about what constituted "legitimate rape" might have slipped under the radar. But Akin was a prime target for an opposition research powerhouse, American Bridge 21st Century, and their Akin tracker was on the ball. Within hours, the Democratic "super PAC" had uploaded the clip to YouTube and pushed it to reporters — ensuring that it blew up on Twitter and headed to the top of national news. Akin´s candidacy was doomed. For Republicans, who had no research outfit to match American Bridge,

Swiss voters have narrowly backed a referendum proposal to bring back strict quotas for immigration from European Union countries. Final results showed 50.3% voted in favour. The vote invalidates the Swiss-EU agreement on freedom of movement. Fiercely independent Switzerland is not a member of the EU, but has adopted large sections of EU policy. Georgetown, Guyana – The U.S. Embassy in Guyana warned Sunday that it had received "unconfirmed threat information" about a regional airline´s flights from the South American country to the United States on Monday and urged Americans to avoid using the carrier. The terse message about flights of Caribbean Airlines was unusual for being so specific about a potential threat, although it gave no details on the threat. Even after the system´s disastrous rollout, they like to point out, roughly three million people have signed up for private insurance, while 6.3 million have signed up for Medicaid. "Already, because of the Affordable Care Act, more than nine million Americans have signed up for private health insurance or Medicaid coverage," Obama said in the State of the Union speech. Tehran, Iran — A senior Iranian naval commander says his country has sent several warships to the Atlantic Ocean, close to U.S. maritime borders for the first time. The commander of Iran’s Northern Navy Fleet, Admiral Afshin Rezayee Haddad, is quoted by the official IRNA news agency as saying Saturday that the vessels have already begun the journey to the Atlantic Ocean via waters near South Africa. Iranian officials said last month that the fleet consisted of a destroyer and a logistic helicopter carrier, which will be on a three-month mission. Haddad says the fleet is approaching U.S. maritime borders for the first time.

It was the perfect Christmas tableau at the Allen-Farrow household: There sat Mia and nine of her children around the dinner table. There were two turkeys, an abundance of side dishes, and in the middle, a carved angel. Long before the scandals — Woody taking off with Mia’s adopted teen daughter Soon-Yi, Mia accusing Woody of molesting their 7-year-old daughter, Dylan — the Allen-Farrow family was regarded as the ultimate cosmopolitan clan, a multiracial brood of 11 children,

BAGHDAD — A group of Sunni militants attending a suicide bombing training class at a camp north of Baghdad were killed on Monday when their commander unwittingly conducted a demonstration with a belt that was packed with explosives, army and police officials said. The militants belonged to a group known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS, which is fighting the Shiite-dominated army of the Iraqi government, mostly in Anbar Province. But they are also linked to bomb attacks elsewhere and other fighting that has thrown Iraq deeper into sectarian violence.

President Obama has broken many promises. One that he has not broken is his boast that he would "fundamentally transform America." He and his fellow Democrats are on the verge of doing just that by turning us into a nation of loafers. A loafer is an idle person who lives off others. Barack Obama seemingly has no problem with such people. He might even relate to them. He does have a serious problem with his own work ethic, and finds work boring. Powerful winds in the Pacific Ocean, which have driven surface heat deep underwater, could be the reason behind the current ‘pause’ in global warming. This is according to a joint Australian and U.S. study which has looked at why there has been a slowdown in the planet’s global average surface temperature over the past decade. Their research shows that trade winds in central and eastern parts of the Pacific have caused warm surface water to sink to the ocean´s depths, reducing the amount of heat in the atmosphere. Last year, scientists on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) said the pace of

From its inception, the strategy behind the Obama administration’s implementation of ObamaCare has been simple: to frontload the benefits and postpone the pain and costs of this massive government intrusion into the private sector for as long as possible. This deceitful approach enabled President Obama run for reelection in 2012 on the spurious promise of extending insurance coverage to the poor and those with pre-existing conditions without being held accountable for the problems with the law that would only become apparent in his second term.
