´Phil Robertson made me feel
unsafe in my own home´: Gay
Louisiana student writes powerful
anonymous letter to Duck Dynasty
star in wake of homophobic comments

Daily Mail [UK], by Alex Greig and Ashley Collman

Original Article

Posted By:Ribicon, 12/29/2013 1:56:03 PM

A closeted gay student living in West Monroe, Louisiana has written a powerful essay, criticizing the town´s most famous residents - Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson. Robertson made headlines after issuing homophobic comments in a GQ article, at one point comparing gay sex to bestiality, which got him put on suspension by the A&E network. But the network announced yesterday that they would be reinstating Robertson to the show, who so far has remained unapologetic about the comments. (Snip) ´He encouraged - hopefully unintentionally - a two-week-long "f** bashing" in Monroe and around the world. He made me feel unsafe in

Comments:
Dollars to donuts this is part of a taxpayer-funded PR effort coordinated through Barry´s House.

FTA: ´You don´t know persecution until you´re a 12-year-old boy sitting in a church pew when your preacher encourages everyone to vote to make gay marriage illegal because they think you don´t deserve the same joy of raising a family due to your depravity...When you know that, then you can talk about persecution.

This idiotic anus worshiper doesn´t know persecution until he´s experienced the wrath of his deviant brethren, and the trouble they can cause to anyone who disagrees with them; he just needs to sign up with GLAAD and then he can feel safe.

With GLAAD covering for him, he can organize boycotts in an attempt to affect the financial status of anyone who does not worship the aforementioned body orifice; he can go on television and speak glowingly of anal sex and demonize those who do not subscribe to the practice; he can write silly "essays" and demonize anyone he pleases while keeping his identity a secret.

I am sick of these people and my tolerance meter is pegging into the red. This is one step over the line too far.

GLAAD is every bit the terrorist organization that al Quida is; the only difference is so far they aren´t wearing suicide bamb vests, but look for that to change in the near future.

His mom´s apron probably got a couple days off and he´s phobic about some gay bashers headed his way and he has no where to hide..

Remember the left created another myth out of whole cloth blaming homophobes for killing Matthew Shepard and even made a hate crime statute out of it. It´s turned out Shepard´s gay lover was the one who actually killed him.

I don´t care for gays one bit but i wouldn´t waste my energy or life trying the get them off the planet.

Gays were really tickled over the progress they made since Obama got elected but none was done by free will of straight people. It´s been won by courts and dem legislators. They look at the Ducks being reinstated as a huge setback because of all the ire directed at A&E.

Look at the defeat we took by Judge Roberts on Obamacare,we didn´t go nuts and threaten everybody on the planet.

I try to make it a point to understand before I criticize, but I couldn´t finish this annoying article.

As a member of a Christian family, we are not happy that another member is openly gay. We have to accept her choice but don´t approve of her sin. You could say the same of her father´s alcoholism. Fortunately, she is mature enough to understand our position, and knows that our love for her will never change.

It seems that this young man and his family suffer from both a lack of love and a lack of maturity. A sad situation I imagine he would be lamenting even if he were not homosexual. There is always something to use to hurt someone else. And always a pity puddle to wallow in.

I just checked Wiki re status law re gay marriage:

On September 18, 2004, by 78% to 22%, the voters of Louisiana approved a state constitutional amendment that banned same-sex marriages and civil unions. The measure did not ban domestic partnerships.

So, that was nine years ago - this closeted gay person is 21 years old now. Time to stop whining and grow up. If he´s that sensitive, perhaps he should move to a friendlier state.

FTA: The author says he´s never met Robertson but was raised by a man just like him, revealing that his father called him an a**h**e for coming out to his mother and told him that his boyfriend would never be welcomed at his house.

´My Phil Robertson threatened my life because I had the audacity to be who I am,´ he wrote.

This anonymous ´communications student´ has never met Phil Robertson - does not know him - yet, he is certain that Phil is just like his own father, so he projects every bad thing in his life on Phil Robertson, composes a poorly written essay, and has it posted in Robert Mann´s blog at the Times Picayune. From there it gets published and mentioned ... well, let us wait and count the places. (He will probably begin his communications career at the Times-Picayune.)

The blogger, Robert Mann, says - I had hoped to find a young person, like this University of Louisiana-Monroe student, to interview before I wrote my Times-Picayune column for Sunday´s paper. I didn´t find him in time, but on Saturday morning, I did find him. And he agreed to write about his experiences for this blog, anonymously. It´s very powerful stuff. I hope you´ll read it and share it. His message needs to be heard. - Bob Mann]

Who among us did not know that there would be a search to find homosexuals and blacks willing to attack Phil Robertson. The only surprise is that it wasn´t someone claiming to have been mistreated personally by Phil Robertson or a member of his family. This is very likely just the first anecdotal salvo in a protracted propaganda effort. The Left doesn´t give in, give up, or slow down. They adjust their tactics and press forward.

Elf on a Shelf made me feel unsafe in my own home. You don´t see me writing to Santa Claus about it.

That little creepy fellow cast a spell on my wife and daughter. One would yell at me for not moving him every night and the other would yell at me and cry because I touched it.

Confused and desperate to get away I barricaded myself in my den until Christmas was over. My only solace being Captain Black Royal, a pound of Dunkin Donuts coffee, and marathons of Duck Dynasty on A&E to pass my time in exile.

I have only just emerged from the den, wreaking of body odor, pipe tobacco, and stale coffee grounds. After a shower I was allowed downstairs to hard cold glances from my two ladies who assured me the Elf was gone, but would be back next year.

I used to know Christmas as a time of love and merry, now it will forever be known as a time of dread and the paranoia of being under the constant surveillance of a little devious grinning elf who I am demanded to handle but not touch at the same time.

Concerns for Mr.Monroe feeling threatened by an image on his television is just ridiculous when millions are being force to live with a sinister Elf on a Shelf who invades their homes at this time of year.

Shame on you Mr. Monroe!

It is very unfortunate for this young man that he has to discover that quite often, God´s word convicts us of our sin. Not just the sin of homosexuality, but ALL sin. I see that this person, and anyone else, has two choices. Either accept God for who He is and adhere as best one can to his commandments, or deny there even is a God and live your life as you see fit. It is only as complicated as people choose to make it. When I refer to God, I am referring to the same God Phil Robertson was referring to in his paraphrasing of scripture, the God of the Holy Bible. If one chooses, there are many other "gods´ out there to choose from. Once again, it is not that complicated and it simply requires one to utilize their free will.

I have, shall we say, mixed feelings about gays - gay men in particular - and unmixed feelings about the fascist wing of the gay lobby, which is perhaps most of it. But I don´t doubt this guy´s story, even if his fears are exaggerated. When I was in a twelve-step program years ago, my apartment burned down and a guy from my group spent a lot of time helping me go through the wet, charred mess. He was from Alabama and confided to me that he had killed a man who had picked him up hitchhiking because the man had come on to him. That may not justify this little person being afraid in his home, but he might want to keep his hands to himself when he´s out and about!

free clue: you will NEVER be able to "raise a family". It is physically impossible for two males to conceive a child. It has NEVER happened in the history of our planet. I have over 7 billion examples of why a man and a woman should be allowed to be married. How many examples do you have?

This is right out of the Donk playbook. Some "victim" who must remain anonymous, has "feelings" about an interpretation of something allegedly said by a conservative, so we must all feel guilty, let them win and feel guilty.

Stupid, childish and laughable, but it only has to appeal to a group of Lofo voters.

Booooring.

There are some fine comments on this thread about typical leftwingtard propaganda elements.

Some ambitious person could merge them, organize them, cut and paste and come up with a nifty guide to identifying and destroying that sort of propaganda.

Notice the headline has another reference to ´bestiality´ which seems to be something today´s gay blades hate. Decades back that was the thing ~ group of ´em would get a goat or something.... have a party.

What is with this homophobic nonsense, the man quoted the Bible the source of his belief, to say nothing that most normal people are repulsed by the whole degenerate concept. So to sum up it is either the Saints or Nature that are homophobic, but neither of them are degenerates, so what does that leave?

This story has about as much credibility as the ´RATS "Republican War on Women" fake story. It must have been written by Pajama Boy himself if he is a closeted homosexual.

What exactly is a "powerful

"? Powerful letters are signed, and that´s what makes them powerful.

An unsigned letter is rightfully regarded as a ruse - as so many L-Dot-Commers have noted here.

Trenton — Deeply in debt and struggling to stay open, Saint Michael’s Medical Center of Newark put itself up for sale two years ago and accepted a $65 million offer from Prime Healthcare Services of California. Weeks later, however, Prime took a closer look at Saint Michael’s books and concluded they revealed “burdensome and inflexible” labor contracts, HMO rates “significantly below market price,” and two doctors earning more than $500,000 annually. (Snip) The proceeds from the sale won’t come close to conquering the $233 million mountain of state-backed loans Saint Michael took on when its parent company, Catholic Health East,

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital.
