‘Duck Dynasty’ Reversal Shows
GLAAD Has an Expiration Date

Phil v. The Gays. With which will we side? Or rather, against which will we side? This is the question that society demands we answer. Are we anti-Phil or anti-gay or anti-GLAAD or anti-A&E or anti- … ? Perhaps no other word sums up the Duck Dynasty fiasco as aptly as the word “anti.” Whenever I hear that someone is anti-this or that, I immediately think of the old quip about MADD – are there any mothers for drunk driving? – and ask myself if anyone is really in favor of the particular thing being protested. Since GLAAD has recently taken a hard-line stance against Phil Robertson’s “anti-gay” comments, I’ve been asking myself a

Why do they rage so much IF they are truly happy and satisfied? The answer is......THEY ARE NOT HAPPY. It is NOT working for them. Their actions tell us all that.

The P.C. and special interest groups are infinitely wearying, as is all the cr*p
the MSM spews out about them. My wife and I
have essentially stopped watching any program with advertisements and any partisan news sites. One can live very nicely without all the nonsense they offer up. Plenty of other things to do - books, DVD´s, games, sports,
etc. The social environment is spiraling downwards and we do not wish to be a part of it.

It appears this writer is voicing a fear within the "LGBT community" that GLADD is pushing too hard and all their work for "inclusion" may come to naught. I have to credit Mr. Ambrosino for acknowledging that the constant indignation is for the sole benefit of GLADD´s coffers. I wish some in the black community would point out the same regarding Jackson and Sharpton.

I hate that it is phrased "Phil v. The Gays". I honestly believe that Phil loves everyone and wants them to know God and spend eternity in Heaven. But organizations like GLAAD thrive on the "Us v. Them" mentality. And the liberal media cheers them on. We would be so much better as a country if they were all exposed for what they are.

The only way GLAAD is going to have an expiration date is if We, The People of a Judeo-Christian nation, stand up impose it upon them.

When we finally stand up and declare that We, The People have rights, will we begin to gain back the rights we have given up in the name of Not Lowering Ourselves To Their Level. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

GLAAD has the right to express their views, but they do not have the right to impose those views upon us and make us bow down to those views.

The writer misses the point, or rather he does not want to face it; it is that GLAAD failed mightily in its attempt to have the expression of a basic Christian tenet to the effect that homosexual practices are sinful declared “hate speech.” It may hurt for gays and their allies to hear the believers state what they sincerely believe, but that does not relegate the statement to hate speech.
In short, one can be expected to tolerate it when others engage in sinful acts, but they can not be coerced or compelled to accept the conduct as anything less than the sin that it is.

The totality of the queer loss is apparent when even Time, that leftard-toady-of-record is offering a [typically convoluted, in the leftist fashion] admission of loss.

But it is obvious that this group has proven unworthy of inclusion in adult democratic discussion and should be driven from the public square. Palinized, in other words.

Just remember the Judeo-Christian nation is a soft target and GLAAD knows that but Phil Robertson got a little too graphic for their likes. Phil Robertson hit the bullseye and it hurt their mantra. They don´t want to live among us in peace and in silence because they make themselves miserable and want to infect us with their misery.
Notice no Muslim leader or prominent Muslim is attack by these Gay Nazis when the religion of peace punishes or executes this said happy, gay group. If GLAAD wanted a challenge then change a Muslim´s mind but he better be ducking the sword slashing at his gay throat.

Not so much about Phil´s words which hardly match those of the LBGT movement who feel the need to discuss their preferences and trysts in detail and with parts named; more about backlash at P C and the fact that an icon the red states folks, the ones in flyover country like to watch the wholesome , family oriented Robertson´s.

If they hunted gays at night with stun guns in the city they wouldn´t be viewer-less but the viewers would be different folks.

This backlash may have an effect on the momentum of the liberal courts and judges who have just foisted gay marriage onto Utah where it had 0 chance of passing with use of legislation to change the laws. Coming to a state near you if you turn a blind eye and think it´s only Utah.

It seems that a lot of things are changing and lots of choices given us that will affect our own destinies?

That they are even framin Phil´s comments as anti-gay instead of pro-religious freedom is offensive to me. The courts struck down part of Utah´s anti-po9lygamy law that the nation forced on the Mormons and the courts cited freedom of religion--is your head spinning? LOL?

I would remind #20 that Jesus never speaks directly to "sodomy" although he does name "adultery". Adultery is one of the most frequently and severely condemned sins in the Bible. Adultery is mentioned 52 times, including in the Ten Commandments, all four Gospels, and at least ten other books of the Bible. Only the sins of idolatry, self-righteousness and murder are mentioned more often. Interestingly the book that some Christians invoke most often to condemn homosexuals is Leviticus; which also bans eating of pork, shell fish, and cutting of one’s hair among other things.

Does it not occur to anyone else that this is all the work of the Devil doing his evil deeds? Fomenting troubles amongst believers? I prefer, as a Christian, to follow the words that came directly from Jesus´ mouth; they can be found in Matthew 7:12 and John 8:7. It makes life, for me at least, much easier to deal with.

The "Jesus´ words in red editions" were a printer´s innovation. . . that sold Bibles beginning in the late 1800s. Jesus´ words are no more holy than the words He ordered His Apostles to say (cf. Matt 18, the rest of the New Testament). Gay advocates cite shrimp on the menu as proof of conservative Christian cafeteria Christianity; thus they reveal they have actually read the Bible and how Christ fulfilled the OT law.

The "Jesus vs. Paul" arguments offered above, and the OT vs NT arguments are constantly offered by gays in the hope that their hearers are ignorant.

Don´t be ignorant, folks. Go to a Bible preaching church. Actually listen. You will understand why gay obfuscation about the Biblical prohibitions on homosexuality are bunk. Also . . . everytime you hear a gay spilling this kind of religious bunkum, read him Romans 1 slowly.

I think #19 is on to something--at least in regard to the GLAAD types. Re #20: I can show you Scripture in the New Testament that specifically tells me that I can eat pork, and other Scriptures that tell me that keeping the Levitical laws are not necessary for salvation. I can also show you Scripture in the New Testament that specifically condemns homosexual behavior as sinful. #20´s point is not well taken.

Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already

The first step is admitting… It was a simple question to someone accustomed to much tougher ones: What was her proudest achievement as secretary of state? But for a moment, Hillary Rodham Clinton, appearing recently before a friendly audience at a women’s forum in Manhattan, seemed flustered.(Snip)So…no definitive successes and some clear-cut failures. And that’s the generous New York Times assessment. The Democrat fantasy story about Mrs. Clinton paints her as strong and accomplished on her own. In reality, this is a woman who is professionally defined almost entirely by two men in her life, both of whom happen to have

Remember when Lois Lerner, in answering a planted question at an American Bar Association conference, admitted the IRS had targeted conservative groups but tried to pass it off as the work of rogue agents — “our line people in Cincinnati”? Today we know there were indeed federal agents involved. But they weren’t rogue, and they weren’t confined to IRS workers in Cincinnati. Thanks to a Freedom of Information request by Judicial Watch, we now have an e-mail Lerner sent to colleagues noting the Department of Justice was looking into criminal prosecutions of these tax-exempt groups. We know something else, too. These investigations
