The Great Race Hoax
American Thinker, by Eugene Slaven

Original Article

Posted By:DW626, 12/28/2013 6:40:42 AM

When Barack Obama rose to national prominence following his 2004 keynote address at the Democratic National Convention, his African-American heritage was a footnote to the fawning reception he received from the media and from most Americans. While the speech was not a case study in brilliant oratory, Illinois State Senator Barack Obama exuded charisma and eloquently discussed an appealing if not particularly original theme of unity and bipartisanship. Fast forward to today. President Obama´s race is no longer a footnote. It is central to his presidency. It is arguably his defining characteristic. Unity and bipartisanship are nowhere to be found. Who is responsible

I never continue reading any article that includes obligatory words like ´brilliant oratory´, ´charisma´, or ´eloquently´.

Obama never had any real intentions of being a uniter or bipartisan. His pollsters and advisers simply told him the themes that people fall for, without any real chance of them being accomplished.Bill Clinton ran on change back in 1992 and was successful so they just added hope to change to bolster his imgage as a be all to end all presidents. The real sickos actually believed he had magical powers and problems were an easy task to deal with.

Old adages about watch what people do,not what they say or judge people by the company they keep never came to light.Obama said Bill Ayers was simply someone in the neighborhood.

His real intentions were then as they are now, wrapping himself in social justice and all that´s doing is wasting trillions of dollars.

Obama backers had much bigger plans that what was advertised.People view Obamacare as a failure but it´s a huge success for Obama´s real intentions of being president Robin Hood.As a result, every things going backwards in this country because Obama is a huge enabler of all that´s wrong in this country.

When people get fraudulent tax refunds,he doesn´t get outraged,he´s saying to himself he wants those people to enjoy it because they deserve it from past oppression.

A racist country could never have elected a black president twice. But even with racists, and any clear thinkers, his complete incompetence as president over shadows the issue of his race.

I think that the race argument came to the forefront because the right was making arguments against Obama´s policies and political appointments that the left couldn´t counter intelligently. The left knew the right was making good points. In their frustration, the left had to bring out the big gun, racism. When they saw that it was effective in some circles, they went with it full force, to the point that it makes them look silly. Even the left now knows that Obama is a failure.

The author is wrong: Obama´s elections were ALWAYS about race. We just HAD to have that well-spoken black as president, and there was no need to vet him before the coronation (In ´65, I pulled KP for 2 months waiting for a security clearance)...Forget the fact that he hated America then and still does!

America deserves everything his "voters" handed us. I just hope we can eventually recover.

Though it´s hard to pinpoint the precise point when President Obama ceased being a post-racial president, I suspect the transition from post-racial to racial accelerated in late spring of 2009, when his approval ratings started to drop from his all-time highs.

Not true. He "ceased being a post-racial president" long before he entered public life. He´s been a racist his whole life.

You can´t attend a racist Church that many years and not have a built-in bias against "rich white peee-puuuul", as the Right Reverend Wright said.

As for the "acceleration" of his racism, the writer is probably right. It began when his alleged brilliance began to dim.

Obama and his wife are anti-Christian, anti-Semitic and anti-white, and no amount of fancy attempts at explaining it will cover that up, although they hide it well for their cult-like followers.

His policies, at their redistributionist core, are designed to hurt white people and help black people.

Sorry, but this POTUS is racist at his core and always has been.

"Race" and "gender" and "the environment" and "fairness" and whatever else they´ll come up with (and the grievance list will never end) are but trojan horses for what the Left really wants but dare not state out loud: A socialist America. Obama´s race was the perfect trojan horse and they all knew it. It was central in that it shielded him - for a while - from exposure as a subversive Leftist, which is what "progressives" have wet-dreamed about putting in the White House for decades. The same will be true when (surely not if, given the spinal disintegration of the GOP) the Left succeeds in putting a Female or a Green in the Oval Office - the outer shell will mask the socialist core.

FTA "A central tenant of the racialists´ political philosophy is the belief that the United States is an inherently racist country, where racism and so-called "white privilege" trump liberty, individualism, and all other American values. The proponents of this theory use every case of injustice against a black person -- whether the case is real, fabricated, or anomalous -- to showcase America´s deeply racist roots. They are, like Chris Matthews, obsessed with race, and unable to ascribe a nonracial motive to (white) human action."

The Democrats, msm and universities and colleges every where actually believe and teach the above nonsense. Today nothing is accomplished by hard work. If you are white and successful it´s because of "white privilege" and someone else helped you (ie government). If you are black don´t even try you are a victim and can´t succeed because of racism.

I don´t care about the color of someone skin. What I care about is are they honest, do they have a Judeo-Christian morality, what kind of work ethic do they have, do they respect others, are they disciplined, are they educated, can they speak proper English etc. These traits transcend skin color either you have them or you don´t. It seems to me that today if you are black you don´t need any of these traits because every non Democrat white person is a racist who will hold you back and is in need of being "knocked out". This culture started with the misnamed "Great Society" welfare and has blossomed under obama. I don´t know how this coarsening of the culture can be stopped with the Democrats and msm promoting the above garbage all the time.

Looking back, it is clear to any objective observer, that O was never who he said he was. Say what you will about his abilities, he has mastered the Alinsky method and has used it successfully to cow the GOP and his critics.

Once the Dim bull got gored, things changed, to the point he has lost all but the fanatical left who are devoted to his dictates and his political ideology.

The tragedy is, America will support the next phoney just a readily. The core values of America have been flushed the toilet of liberalism, never to be seen again. The Genie is out of the bottle.

Edwards was right, there are two Americas. Those who still support non secular, family values and those who are devoted secularists. The loud voices of the minorities are drowning out the Puritan values that made America great.

Loyalty, generosity, brotherly love, fidelity have all been replaced with the list Phil Richardson evoked in his GQ interview. GLAAD and their minions went ballistic, but failed to silence the outcry. That is a positive sign. But the American divide is evident. It is a battle we must continue to fight.

Pray we never falter.

As far as Barry´s great race deception for me it isn´t the fact he´s black, it´s the fact he is a true progressive Saul Alinsky loving Marxist, I´m sure most people here agree that´s what the real issue is.

Amen #9, good job!

FTA... "the United States is an inherently racist country, where racism and so-called "white privilege" trump liberty, individualism, and all other American values." This is exactly how Zero thinks. However, one big problem I have with this article is the term "African-American heritage". Zero´s heritage is hardly African American. Mr. Slaven is using this ridiculous term to define Zero as black, but Zero is mostly white and wasn´t raised to be American at all. I am tired of letting the Left define words. The election of this fraud was ALWAYS about race because most of his supporters think he´s black. Oh, excuse me... African American. Geez.

President Post-turtle. We do not know how the turtle got to the top of the post, but someone obviously put it there because it could not get there by itself.

Obama was always a racist. He brought it up repeatedly against his political opponents. He was treated with kid gloves. It especially gave the media an excuse not to vet him. That would be racist!

Add to that, Bush II being clubbed by the media continually. The wars in Afghanistan and Iraq also went to long.

People were tired, and ready for an alternative that spewed any line of bull. The Obama gang was the best organized to capitalize. The Clinton gang also treated Obama with kid gloves. Anything else would have been racist!

Hopefully people never fall for this again. Obama was nothing more than a hardcore lefty that had no business being in public office.

#4, the left uses ´ racism´ to an end, helping the Emperor to use this " big gun " to advance his intentions. His race is a very convenient big gun, as no one can/will take it away. But it is his force field, his shield as well. This country couldn´t have elected a more devious anathema, and one blessed with above armament and protection. Our Founders knew and warned. If the author chooses the word " hoax" , it´s should be used in this context. The hoax is what this man is doing to our country, and he´s using every means at his disposal to " transform " it.

I think the article is full of brilliant oratory and that the writer wrote with charisma and eloquence.

In fact, I think he hammered it to the herbage.

He is also correct.

Zerobama is the ultimate milk chocolate oreo. White as the driven snow on the inside, raised by white liberals who taught him, if nothing else, that he deserves anything he can take from someone else.

Zerobama is about as black, on the inside, as Mitt Romney.

I agree with number one. I have no interest in reading articles by people who in their opening paragraph describe Mr. Obama as exuding charisma or eloquently discussing anything. There are two problems, first that the author thinks this. Second, that it´s in the opening paragraph where it will get the most attention.

Thank God for MLK Jr. He led a movement long overdue and desperately needed. Everything was not perfect, but considering what the blacks in America had suffered, he was a man of peace who set a good example on how to bring about lasting change.

If someone like Obama had been running that show, I don´t believe for a minute it would have been as peaceful. Obama is an angry man with a gigantic chip on his shoulder regarding race in this country and it´s always there. He should look a little deeper into all those racists Democrats in high offices who defiantly and proudly stood in the way of integration.

The Øbamboozler is divisive, to coin a phrase, Period!
He divides by religion, class, culture and race.
Like any other radical trying to achieve "
fundamental change" the philosophy is always the same: divide and conquer. Add back-breaking regulation & taxes and toss in some finger-pointing blame, misdirection, confusion and chaos along with it and you have a combination that is hard to fight.

#9 will be hard to improve on.

To live in a country that was founded on the rule of law, a Constitution and a Bill of Rights and has been by any measurement a exceptional nation; the past five years has been a guanine nightmare. The far left, which is now the majority of the Democratic Party, make no mistake about that, don´t believe Omama has done anything wrong but hasn´t done enough to destroy our nation.

Who are these people what do they want ? I think most of us know the answer but a large group of real Americans are still asleep dreaming it will be ok in time.

As soon as Obama moved his Soetoro/Robinson clan into the White House, he immediately surrounded himself with blacks, Jarrett, Holder, etc. in the most senior positions. Biden was the token white stooge and he has played his role well. The joke is on the blacks who backed him since they are worse off today than they were in 2008, despite the free phones and perpetual unemployment checks. The things that blacks need most, solid private-sector jobs and an effective public education, are still not to be found.

#1, most authors still feel that if they initially praise the Kenyan prince to the high heavens, they won´t feel guilty about saying that he might have failed at something, even if it wasn´t his fault. That lessens the sting of truth that he has failed at everything and it´s all his fault.

I think that zippy has always been a racist , stemming from growing up as a bi-racial child in the 60´s, even in such liberal Utopias as Seattle and Hawaii. Then his white mother took him to live in Asia where he was even more of an oddity and finally abandoned him and left him with his white grandparents. There is no way he was ever going to be anything but consumed with racism.

That being said, I don´t think that it is zippy who has mastered Alinsky. He´s far too lazy and self absorbed to bother. Others have done it for him, starting with Ayers who pushed him into local politics, the slick lawyers who eliminated his opponents in Illinois , Valerie Jarret, Mooch and most especially the media who have done all the heavy lifting in getting him elected and shielding him from the consequences of all of his mistakes, illegal actions and scandals. Zippy is just the pampered figurehead.

The left always needs an excuse for the failure of their ideas. They are currently spinning that Obamacare has been "implemented" or "administered" badly. BO has carefully distanced himself from all actions taken in his presidency. As Dr. K. quipped, it´s like BO has forgotten that he is president. He claims NO responsibility for the abject failures and illegal actions of his own administration.

So the "concept" of universal health care is still viable to the left. Race will be used to explain why the "implementation" was unsuccessful. The left, when clearly the blame for something simply throws up dirt of any kind to obscure the issue. The MSM supports it so they get away with it.

The problem they face this time is that this is not just some "Washington thing". Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS, while terrible, do NOT directly impact most people. To most people they are just political chatter and the left and media can easily blur the analysis of them.

Loss of personal health care, loss of access to your hospital and doctor, premiums going up 5)% +, deductibles over $5000... THAT is all personal and the left has staked claim on the process that caused it over and over.

Obama and the left will get what they seek. No one cares what BO´s skin color is. They just care that he destroyed their health care. Hopefully THAT will be remembered for a long time to come.

Obama does not display ´brilliant oratory´, charisma, there is none and eloquent has never been shown. In short Obama is no show stopper.
His race was what the leftist communist were looking for. Obama could read a teleprompter and words stuffed in it, he speaks better than a street rapper but their IQ are the same.
Just think if all the left had to present in a chosen black like Jesse Jackson with his marble mouth delivery and down home shucking and jive. The left would have been a laughing stock but with Obama they had the package.
We are now witnessing the ´black experiment´ unraveling but we are stuck with the consequences.

FTA : "Obama´s race is no longer a footnote. It is central to his presidency."

Cornel West would most emphatically disagree. Oh, and not to defend Chris Matthews, but let´s be honest. When someone mentions food stamps, EVERYONE thinks of black people. Good times, bad times, boom times, recessions, it makes no difference. Blacks always have the highest rates of unemployment, illegitimacy, food stamp usage, incarceration, on and on. African American culture is a culture of failure, idleness, and promiscuity, and until THAT is changed nothing else will.

One of the other articles today talks about vulgarity invading our entire culture. And just where do you think THAT came from? And by the way, it IS cultural, which by definition makes it NOT racial. It is learned, not inherited.

Barry Soetero or Barack Obamao is a Marxist, born to and raised by Marxists, went to Marxist schools and influenced by Marxist friends and staff, and is a ´one- trick pony´. The race thing got him elected, and is a convenient and useful item, but it has little to do with his intent and direction.

White racists are Leftists first, and racism is a useful tool in their kit as they work to bring America down. Truth or facts have never mattered to these people. It´s all about The Cause.

FTA: [H]istorical revisionism is the intent of the racialists. If Obamacare collapses in two years, they will point to the president´s race. If he leaves office an unpopular president who failed to achieve anything of substance, they will blame race.

Now that the novelty of having a bona fide anti-American with no useful knowledge or life experience in the White House is wearing thin, we understand the maxim: Rise by race, fall by race. It´s condign karma that this character, the ultimate Peter Principal (yes, that spelling is deliberate!), who rose as high in public life as one can possibly rise without even one significant achievement outside the racial spoils gravy train should be brought rudely back to earth when the racial pendulum at the absolute apex of its arc swings back. His default defense in political matters is to accuse (or have one of his flunkies accuse) anyone who thinks differently than he of being guilty of racial rather than ideological error. In a color obsessed culture, race trumps ideology. Disagreement with the One who Won is a mortal sin, and don´t you ever forget that.

In his immortal Lincoln Memorial speech in August 1963 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. called for the opposite of racist or racialist division. If King said the same thing today, he would be at risk of being called a racist by the likes of BHO, Chris Matthews, Jay Carney, and the usual gang of bent leftist idiots.

Slaven’s attention getting article disappoints. Perhaps it’s semantic fears, but 14 times he refers to “left, leftists, far left, progressive, liberal”, when describing Marxist racist propaganda . 29 times, “racist, racialist” is claimed the issue. Racism is only the “door opener” for communist agitation. Just as GLAAD uses their excesses over gays for power, Obama’s cabal uses the cry of racism for power. Gayness and racism are both used as tools of agitation: ANY kind of incessant name calling to divide groups of people, to create more controlling laws, take away more freedom of the individual Uno 20 said it, anything that will “divide and conquer”. Racism is used as the perfect opportunity to create dissent between people. Propagandist racist agitators Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton for many years, have made hate their life’s work. Right out of Lenin (the tyrant who preceeded Stalin) the more agitation created, the more power established. One agitator losing big time is Feinstein, attempting power over gun owners and agitating non gun owners. Schumer, Rubio, McCain, agitating citizens and educated legal applicants against uneducated laboring illegal aliens. All the while, agencies like NSA and IRS need no agitation, they are the silent agitators to all Americans So many forces working against our freedoms. We don’t need politically correct terms used against us as in Slaven’a article.
The issue is: agitation against the people using racism, is just another conveniently masked device for the advance of totalitarian Communism in America.

Obama´s mother was white, yet Obama is black.
Does any amount of blackness make one black?

Democrats are gradually softening their objections to Reagan. An undeniably successful presidency with strategic gains and a solid quarter century of economic expansion (1982-2007) cannot be ignored forever. It also cannot be ignored that the more or less wall to wall worldwide misery of the Obama years will lead directly to the permanent loss of his ill-gotten reputation. That meager balloon has been inflated to the bursting point, and there´s nothing inside it but air.

What happened to Saddam´s hollow statue in 2003 will happen, figuratively, to Obama, and to what he espouses. Ideas that don´t work must eventually be abandoned. Rats in a maze learn to avoid the areas that are electrically charged. The same will be true of the ´Rats as well. If his name and likenesses continue to be strewn so promiscuously about the landscape, that destruction will become literal.

Our objection to Obama was never racial. It´s what he stands for that we hate. I will continue to support candidates who share my beliefs and values regardless of their race. Race is just outside coloring; it´s what´s inside that counts. Neither good nor bad has a color.

Funny though that the left chose not to tag Obie´s way with contributing to the societal failures in Detroit. Or is Detroit´s decline a race hoax. Not apparent to me that Obie improved the way of life for the average black American in Detroit. Slaven understands the heart of the issue. Now we and hopefully the sheep can reverse this fake race card being advanced by the rad left.

Summing up, think of AGITATION as the main tool of totalitarian propaganda. Started by Marxist, Vladimir Lenin,, 100 years ago, we are today, subjected to agitation by numerous government sources and their complicit lackeys that includes media, academe, the theater (remember agitprop theater!) and Hollywood.

These propagandists constantly dig for agitating trouble against religion, race, owning guns, being gay, violating the environment, all criticism of illegal aliens and world wide Islamic violence.

A major concern of progressives is their supposed interest in the fate of the poor. They purport to be the champions of the poor. But the truth is that they need the poor more than the poor need them, in a symbiotic relationship. As much as 75% of the money allocated to the poor is consumed by the vast bureaucracies that administer this aid. These agencies are actually job programs for college graduates who would often find it difficult to find employment in the private sector. The clumsiness and incoherence, if not madness, of this administration’s foreign policies are creating havoc around the world. No one wrapped up the story of the chaos better than Sultan Knish did this week: When Bush left office at the end of his second term, the region was mostly stable aside from Iran’s nuclear program. By the time Obama had finished his first term, it was in a state of endless war. [snip] Bush had sought to stabilize the Middle East by removing Saddam. Early on in the Genesis chapter of the Bible much is made of Adam giving names to all living creatures. Like everything about the Bible, the meaning of this event is subject to many interpretations, the most often given is that it signals man’s dominion over the other creatures of the earth. I don’t dispute that reading, but to me, the naming description signifies that there can be no real communication among people unless the names we use mean the same thing to all of us. A spade certainly is a garden implement, but if you are in the gardening

The “I’m shocked, shocked” line from Casablanca is too much a cliché to carry any -- umm -- shock value, but surely it fits Putin’s actions against Ukraine. But the civilized world, mainly the Anglosphere, has long shown its utter indifference to human life by ignoring mass killings on a scale surpassed only by the Nazis and the Communists in the last century. More than a hundred thousand in Syria and still going on; perhaps a million or more in North Korea; millions in Africa, uncounted tens of thousands or more in Iran. In the subsequent five years, the situation has only worsened, despite the film production incentive program California enacted in 2009, which provides for $100 million a year in tax credits for what’s usually 20% of production costs. Along similar lines, Charles Krauthammer observes: But generally speaking you get past the next election by changing your policies, by announcing new initiatives, but not by wantonly changing the law lawlessly. In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama. Sometimes it takes only a year of less than expected earnings to result in the termination of a corporate CEO. A couple of underperforming years and a few reasons more, and a CEO would have his bags packed and stowed underneath his buck-stopping desk. A long list of problems -- especially one suggesting even a hint of fraud -- that fails to generate a satisfactory board response would stir shareholders and lenders to demand the resignation of not only the CEO and other key employees,

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million.
