MSNBC Host Blasts Palin for

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Tony Lee

MSNBC, the station that had employed a host that suggested someone should urinate and defecate in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin´s mouth, blasted Palin on Thursday for having a Christmas tree in her home on Christmas. In a segment that was stranger than fiction on The Ed Show, guest-host Joy Reid claimed Palin was going against the Bible by displaying a Christmas tree in her home when she was interviewed for a Fox & Friends Christmas special. "Certain parts of the Bible also appear to preach against let’s say, I don’t know, Christmas trees," Reid said, according to a Newsbusters

Another thing the Bible states is, "A wise man fears and departs from evil, but a fool rages and is self-confident, Proverbs 14:16." "To do evil is like sport to a fool, but a man of understanding has wisdom, Proverbs 10:23." "A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man hold them back, Proverbs 29:11.

A foolish person says foolish things, usually based on feeling rather than fact. That sounds like MSNBC too me...

Perhaps there is a sliver of good news here. At least Leftists are reading(or Googling) the Bible, if only for ammunition to use against believers. It´s not much, but it´s a start. Who knows what might follow?

The Puritans did not celebrate Christmas, and Christmas trees are a relatively modern custom - but the MSNBC commentator makes an unconvincing candidate for spokesperson for Iconoclasts.

Bishop Thomas Paprocki of Springfield, Illinois, has expressed support of a priest who refused Holy Communion to Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), who supports abortion. Following the priest’s withholding of the sacrament, Paprocki replied to a pro-life activist’s email about the issue. Google executive Jacquelline Fuller has resigned in protest from the board of international poverty ministry World Vision amid a growing call for her departure after the group’s decision to reinstate its policy excluding gay Christians from becoming missionaries. World Vision had announced last month that its American branch would begin hiring people in same-sex unions who dedicate their lives to God. Just two days later, the group reversed the decision under pressure from evangelical leaders. “The board acknowledged it made a mistake and chose to revert to our longstanding policy requiring sexual abstinence for all single employees and
