The reversal came in response to complaints from middle-class shoppers on the ObamaCare exchanges who have found themselves on the wrong side of the law´s subsidy cliff. Have not seen any data, no pundits specifically saying, but ...

Government must be siphoning off a massive "management fee" for obamaCare. That´s the payday, and why, in the words of our VP, it´s a Big "Effing" Deal.

If you liked your Health Insurance, try this, with an extra 25,000 dead-beat government bureaucrats to carry. And a $1Billion website that doesn´t work.

I think this statement is incorrect. We have never been able to exclude what we spend on our employee sponsored plan from our taxable income. In fact I read that the minimum percentage you are required to spend on health care and insurance premiums before you are permitted a tax deduction under itemized deductions is going up, not down. IBD needs to correct this.

The Utopian fools that are running our country are WAY too stupid to be in positions of power. We must eliminate the tin gods in DC as soon as possible.

It´s simple enough to stop these people but there are two problems:

1. It takes backbone to stop them and the Republican party, which ought to be stopping them, has no backbone.

2. The Republicans in charge of the Republican party are mostly in cahoots with "these people" who they ought to be stopping.

We are left with the same feeling a teenage girl feels when she finds out her "best friend", the person she thought had her back, has, in fact, been STABBING her in the back all semester.

@3, Private parties buy insurance with after tax money, paying 100% of the premium.

Companies providing insurance benefits to employees get an expense deduction from their taxes AND the employee receives the portion of the ´´employer-sponsored insurance premiums´´ paid by the company as tax-free income.

This was always the fundamental unfairness in the health insurance system.

My husband and I are 62. I lost my insurance last year. The bronze plan wants us to pay $15,000 a year plus a $10,000 deductible. The silver plan similar to the plan we lost would cost $20,000 plus a $10,000 deductible. They want us to pay a third to a half of our income to obamacare. Are you kidding me? This is before taxes. How do we pay our other bills, buy groceries, take care of everyday expenses? We are not sickly and only saw the doctor twice last year for each of us. I will not buy into this democratic scheme.

Obamacare is EVIL, this is real.

In my early 60s, I am in this situation EXCEPT that I managed to squeak in under the wire and get a 2013 renewal at $650 a month for the two of us. I am OK until Dec 2014, cannot renew.

The 2014 rate for Obamacare compliant plans were extremely high. The cheapest one with the better doctor network which has my doctor in it was $1080/month. This is with a $6250 out of pocket max, meaning $12,960 for insurance plus $6,250, or an annual $19,210 out of pocket before the insurance was paying the rest of any large health care bills. This is the CHEAPEST plan, the more atractive plan that seemed to have good services was $1450 a month, or $17,400 per year IF NOBODY GETS SICK AT ALL!!!!

How many can affort $13,000 to $17,000 a year just for health insurance, with ZERO illness in a year? Starting to look attractive to not have health care at all.

This evil law HAS TO be REPEALED!

This weekend is the dedication of the newest memorial on the State Capitol grounds--the Texas Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The bronze statues were finished just a few weeks ago at a foundry in Bastrop. We were there for the final pours along with some others who have a vested interest.
