EPA Pushes Gun Control
Through Green Ammo Mandate

Investor´s Business Daily, by Editorial

Gun Control: Thanks to government regulations, the closing of the last U.S. lead smelter and a push for "green" lead-free ammunition, ammo prices will skyrocket. Does the Second Amendment threaten the environment? Having been stymied by court defeats such as the Supreme Court´s deciding that the Second Amendment does indeed confer a right to keep and bear arms on individuals throughout the United States, advocates of a gun-free America and a disarmed citizenry are taking a different approach: Go after the ammunition through regulations that stifle domestic production and force the use of more expensive and eco-friendly substitutes. yet one more reason why we need to vote in a conservative Congress and President and insist that the EPA be closed down. It must give the socialist a great deal of pleasure to be able to circumvent the Constitution with bureaucrats EPA IRS HLS etc., etc.

Go Conservative, get rid of the McCains and the rest of the RINOS if they didn´t fight to stop this bureaucratic take over they don´t belong in office, we put them there to safeguard our country not help the enemies of the Constitution either by helping them or standing by and doing nothing.

I have never done this before but I sure that many L.Dotters, have the same or similar concerns. I am sharing a request I have sent to both of my Senators and my Representative. Please feel free to use this or whatever you care to, on the same issue._____________

Dear Senator:

The bureaucrats are now running the government and I would like to know what you intend to do about it.

The EPA is shutting down a business in the name of protecting the environment. They have moved to close a smelting plant that produces led mainly for the ammunition industry. It is a move to circumvent the 2nd amendment of the constitution by causing the price of ammunition to make unobtainable to most Americans by driving up the cost. The general population will be disarmed and Congress will act as if their hands are clean, Right? Wrong, you took an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. These people are enemies of the citizens and the Constitution. I want to know what you are doing about this issue, are you living up to your oath or do you intend to do nothing. First Homeland Security buys Billions of bullets now this, what is Congress waiting for, next November? The call to clean out the RINOS is already resounding, wealthy people will have ammo to protect themselves and poorer people will be meat for the grinder. What are you doing about this are you a man of the people or a bureaucrat working for the gun grabbers? I need an answer very soon and please be specific.

An interesting Constitutional dilemma. Does the Federal government have the right to drive the price of ammunition up so high that the average citizen doesn´t have the ability to purchase it and defend themselves? They´ve done this first by purchasing millions of rounds of hollow-point ammunition, and now by using the unfettered, un-Constitutional regulatory power of the EPA to outlaw lead as a bullet material, although it has been used since the invention of firearms (and at the time of the writing of the Constitution).

The Supreme Court may have another chance to correct their past foolish ruling that EPA regulations can override law.

I suggest that in the DHS be required to auction off all their lead based ammunition at the market price, like the government GM stock. Specifically Forbidden to use it for service, training, or any other purpose, and not be allowed to use any but the ´green´ ammo.
The Other Than RINO Conservatives in the House could force this as a part of the Budget Ceiling vote.

WASHINGTON - Americans increasingly think Democrats have a better plan for healthcare than Republicans, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted after the White House announced that more people than expected had signed up for the "Obamacare" health plan. Nearly one-third of respondents in the online survey released on Tuesday said they prefer Democrats´ plan, policy or approach to healthcare, compared to just 18 percent for Republicans. This marks both an uptick in support for Democrats and a slide for Republicans since a similar poll in February. Big Government: The Congressional Budget Office warns of a terrifying, unprecedented level of national debt in the coming decade. That fits nicely with Democrats´ objectives, but not with our nation´s founding principles. Andrew Jackson, who in 1835 succeeded in paying off the national debt, was famous for considering debt slavery. The current fiscal path the U.S. is on does indeed lead to slavery, but the slave masters of the future will be well-heeled politicians and federal bureaucrats, not plantation owners. The CBO´s new budget projections contain an eerie warning that we are on path from today´s already unfathomable $17.7 trillion in gross

Failure: ObamaCare fans are cheering the latest Congressional Budget Office report, which appears to show that it will cost less and cover more people than expected. But that´s true only if you ignore reality. We don´t always agree with the CBO, but we have long respected it as a credible source of budget numbers. Sure, its projections almost never turn out to be true. But simply too many variables are at play for anyone to guess such things perfectly, and it provides a more or less independent source of information on highly charged, partisan issues. Corruption: The standoff in the Nevada desert wasn´t about a desert tortoise or a rancher´s failure to pay grazing fees. It was about the state´s senior senator again enriching himself and his family at public expense. Sunlight is said to be the best disinfectant, and the end, at least temporarily, to the Bureau of Land Management´s armed standoff with Cliven Bundy may be due in part to the exposure given to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid´s role in the attempt to confiscate Bundy´s cattle and shut down his ranch. With House Republicans unlikely to act on an overhaul, executive action by Obama is increasingly the activists´ only hope. "There is tremendous anger among core constituencies of the president

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
