South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) showed off a gun she got as a Christmas present on Thursday. “Our family had a wonderful Christmas together! I must have been good Santa gave me a Beretta PX4 Storm,” she wrote on her Facebook page Thursday. She posted a photo of the pistol with that caption. According to the gun manufacturer’s website, that particular gun costs $575.00. One version can hold a magazine capacity of up to 17 rounds of bullets. In July, Haley, a rising star in the GOP, toured the manufacturing plant for gun company FN, which produces weapons for

I hope she received plenty of ´bullets´ but most of all she needs rounds of ammunition to put in the magazine.
All of these civilian firearms are auto loaders.
Not automatics, they are illegal, or semi automatics and they have magazines not ´clips´ with ´bullets´.
Now I have Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer running through my head.

The PX4 Storm was my second handgun I ever owned.

It looks cool and the rotary lockup was innovative. But the .40 cal version I had was too "jumpy" for me.

I´ve switched to Sig Sauers and Walthers and have been very happy.

The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Ten people - including five teenagers - have perished after a tour bus carrying high school students collided with a FedEx truck in a horrific fiery crash in Northern California on Thursday. Massive flames could be seen devouring both vehicles just after the afternoon smash, and clouds of black smoke billowed into the sky until firefighters had quenched the fire, leaving behind scorched black hunks of metal. Bodies were draped in yellow plastic inside the burned-out bus. Both drivers were killed, along with four chaperones on the school bus and five students, CBS reported. Why did Democrats applaud the loathsome community organizer Melowese Richardson, a freshly released, unrepentant voter fraud felon, at a recent "voting rights" rally in Ohio? Because, like Richardson, they believe they are entitled to vote more than once against a system they see as unjust. Some serial voters do what they do in order to exact revenge against a society they feel did them or their ancestors wrong. Richardson is far from alone. Double-voting is distressingly common. Many leftists have contempt for the electoral process because they don’t believe in the electoral system as it is constituted in capitalist America.

The agents were clearly visible on that recent afternoon, but the migrants were undeterred. Mainly women and children, 45 in all, they crossed the narrow river on the smugglers’ rafts, scrambled up the bluff and turned themselves in, signaling a growing challenge for the immigration authorities. After six years of steep declines across the Southwest, illegal crossings have soared in South Texas while remaining low elsewhere.

Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle.
