Schumer sees job creation and middle-class
income growth as defining issues for 2014

ABC News, by Tom Curry

Sen. Charles Schumer of New York, the third-ranking Democrat in the Senate leadership, said Sunday that “the number one issue in the 2014 election is not going to be Obamacare or the deficit. It is going to be who can get the middle class going again, who can expand middle-class incomes, who can create jobs.”(snip) Schumer is honing the Democrats’ message for 2014, when they face mid-term elections that look to be challenging due to the waning popularity of President Barack Obama,...

Can´t say we weren´t warned what the Democrat tactic will be.

Schumer said Sunday that “what most Americans want us to do is not repeal Obamacare – which is what our Republican colleagues are focused on -- but fix it.

Lie.

The president is working to fix it; we are working in the Senate to fix it. We urge our Republican colleagues to join us in fixing it.”

Why in the world would the GOP want to fix a program that is a mass of rubble and which destroys the health care system Americans really do want and once had until O´Care came along?

The best thing that could be done for job creation and middle class income in this country is for every Democrat in Congress to resign.

Cut all the regulations starting with Obamacare, Dodd-Frank, and diband the EPA. Jobs then will be created.

The parade is already starting. Obama announced "growing jobs" for 2014 and we´ll be having one Dem joker act as an Obama echo.

Grow - undergo natural development by increasing in size - seems to indicate that they really aren´t going to actually do anything positive but just sit back and wait for things to develop.

Neither Schumer or his liberal Democrat buddies can create jobs or raise up middle class income, that´s just a political facade.

What Americans should be aware of is that the liberal Democrats support a massive amnesty for illegal aliens, and a doubling of future immigration. The numbers of aliens being involved amount to about 50 million, consisting of about 20 million legalized aliens plus their close foreign family members; along with an estimated 30 million new foreign workers and their foreign family members who would be allowed into the USA in the next ten years.

All would be granted complete access to the legal US labor market where they could compete against American workers for just about every job out there, and not just the jobs that politicians have been claiming that Americans no longer want.

Such a massive infusion of cheap foreign labor into the legal US labor market is bound to displace millions of American workers from the workplace as employers attempt to maximize their profits and lower their labor costs by hiring foreign workers who can afford to work much cheaper then most American workers who are always trying to maintain their customary US standard of living.

He is my senator from NY. (Thank you for your generous expressions of sympathy. We need them.)

Schumer is a deep blue egoist whose long-standing habit is to emote before the cameras every. single. Sunday. There´s always a crisis to solve, etc.

Schumer is also Obama´s Man Friday. Today´s message is distraction and blame. 2014 will be a dirty campaign of personal destruction, scapegoating, race card playing and illegal electioneering.

It´s so frustrating living in this state. We plan to move next spring/summer.

Once the election is behind them, the Dems return to representing the labor unions and the welfare class, while the Pubs return to representing corporate and investor interests. Both advance the statist agenda. The middle class resumes its downward spiral.

It´s become a hallmark of Barack Obama´s presidency that mistakes made by policy makers, businesses, and governments at all levels must be paid for by American taxpayers. This perverse bailout culture is again evident in ObamaCare, which we now know contains a little-known provision that grants the administration a blank check for a taxpayer-funded bailout of insurance companies when ObamaCare fails. When President Obama recently announced his unilateral order to allow health insurers to ignore ObamaCare´s mandates and regulations and keep offering health plans that people wanted to keep, it exposed another fundamental problem in the law which puts American
