Mixed Messages Add Anxiety
as Deadline Nears in Health Act

New York Times, by Robert Pear

Washington — For most Americans, Monday is the deadline to sign up for health insurance that takes effect on Jan. 1. It was supposed to be a turning point in the troubled history of the new health care law, the moment when the spotlight would shift from the federal government’s online marketplace to the insurance companies providing coverage to hundreds of thousands and eventually millions of people. But as the date approaches, a series of decisions by the Obama administration to delay some of the law’s most important provisions and to extend some deadlines has caused uncertainty among insurers and confusion among

What confusion? The message is that the law, like so many others, is so complicated that there is no way you will be in full compliance. As a result it is one more way in which the Obama Administration will make you suffer if you dare to oppose them.

Now why would Robert Pear lard the front of his report with all of those "peachy keen" assurances that the bandwagon is rolling, and them smudge over the true disastrous effects of Obamacare across the country.

Robert, I sense that you are still in the Democrat corner on this one, despite the tone of reality pouring in.

Notice that Obama got out of town as all this comes down on Jan 1 and will be hiding out on some high security Hawaii golf course until the middle of Jan at about four million in expense to the taxpayer.

Mixed messages? Oh, the message is pretty clear. You will do as we say or else! How the government can continue to push this abomination on the country is mind blowing. It has been proven to be ill conceived, horribly flawed, extremely expensive, overly complicated to the point of incomprehension, and totally in opposition to a free society. It is a behemoth of rules and regulations for one purpose and one purpose only and that is to grow government and shrink the private health care sector. Government will literally make life and death decisions for us and expect us to be thankful! Health care will be whatever the government deems it to be. You have to ask yourself why any government would so blatantly punish its people. The answer lies in the hearts of men who have an insatiable hunger for power over their fellow citizens. We have gone to war on behalf of others over much less.

Things are starting to become clear. These people really have no idea how insurance works or how medical care is provided, do they?

That´s how they can say to people who do actuarial calculations and to people who spend years in medical school--"You didn´t build that." They figure that if they sit in front of the TV in their footie pajamas with their hot cocoa, these things will just happen. It´s magic.

#3 is very observant. Zippie is hiding in Hawaii while this law takes effect for millions who will in actuality have no insurance beginning the new year. He is a coward above all else and is afraid to be in the White House when the pitchforks come out.

I wonder what kind of greeting he will get upon his return. The MSM sycophants will laud his new found vigor with his batteries recharged from a grueling three weeks in the sun and fun. When he returns I expect he will slink into town, unannounced, under cover of darkness in the middle of night, ashamed and afraid.

The government is punishing the people and in November 2014 the people will punish the government. Nothing lasts forever and by the time the mid term election gets here people will have had more than enough and will rise up and put an end to this insanity. This entire fiasco is an exercise in wealth redistribution which was doomed from inception, and we are the guinea pigs. It is the most expensive social experiment in history and will be the iceberg the Obamatanic hits head on at full speed.

OK so the sicker folks are signing up but the younger generation that is desperately needed are not. As such, in a short time the insurance companies will be obligated to pay out claims that far exceed their income from premiums. When that happens, the insurers will simply tell the feds by-by. They will get out of the medical insurance game. No company can stay in business when day after day they are operating at a loss. But, dims firmly believe that if that pass a law that tells them to do so, then they have to. Dims don´t have a clue where money comes from.

obamao and his progressives have stated repeatedly in the past that they believe "single payer" is the best option for healthcare, and come hell or high water, they will force it onto us.

These evildoers are succeeding in destroying the greatest healthcare system in the world, only to "save us" with the rise of socialized medicine or cash only options for us.

This seems rather important: Georgia insurers received more than 220,000 applications for health coverage in the Affordable Care Act’s exchange as of the official federal deadline of March 31, state officials said Wednesday.Insurance Commissioner Ralph Hudgens, though, said premiums have been received for only 107,581 of those policies, which cover 149,465 people.“Many Georgians completed the application process by the deadline, but have yet to pay for the coverage,” Hudgens said in a statement Wednesday. Half? Half? Sure, the nonpayment rates will be a lot lower in other places.
