GOP: ObamaCare rips off young people
Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

Original Article

Good morning from Eureka College in Eureka, Illinois — the proud alma mater of Ronald Reagan. On campuses like this, young people are just beginning to make choices that will shape their future. Right now — even in the middle of finals week — they’re being told that to make the future better, they should rush out and get covered under the president’s health care law. Not only that, they’re being told to “spread the word” about what a great deal it is.

Then why didn´t the Republican Establishment fight harder to prevent it from becoming law?

Were you tricked?
Did you not read it through?
Did you just allow it to pass to see what was in it?
Did you figure that Americans would just "embrace the suck"?

If you allowed it to pass because you wanted an issue to campaign on you are frauds and shysters.

The time to do something about it was BEFORE it became law. But I somehow believe you really do support government taking over healthcare. Your just mad because its called Obamacare, not Romneycare 2.0..

This is bad for everyone. My husband and I are older (62) but not sick. I saw a doctor twice last year as did my husband. We do take long term medication. The cheapest obamacare plan for us would be $1220 a month plus $10000 in deductibles. The plan that is similar to the one I had to drop because of high premiums ($800) a month would cost close to $1500 a month. They want us to pay $15000 to $20000 a year plus an additional $10000. We cannot afford this under any circumstance. That is a third of our income before taxes. We are all being screwed, ripped off and continually lied to, not just the young. Every week he slaps a bandage on this cancer and thinks we won´t notice the patient is in critical condition.

I know when I shopped for a new vehicle a couple of years ago if the salesman came out and told me don´t worry about the cost I would have laughed and walked away. You see I always worry about the cost of things.
The same with this fiasco created by a communist cabal of nitwits. There is no health care or a plan or a fix for this bad piece of legislation. It was all a plan for the theft of money from citizens. We are paying for nothing and the money for that website was theft of money for Valarie Jarrett´s cronies.
The youths who voted twice for this low IQ bozo are now seeing themselves paid back with the tab for this scheme.
The tip off about the validity of this junk legislation was the size and the now famous statement by Nancy Pelosi, "pass it to see what´s in it". That´s the bombshell that should have had all of Congress running to vote this law/bill down.
I´m sick of this dumb government. The old healthcare system could have been fix by nibbling around the edges to fine tune it.
Now we lose doctors and have no place to obtain services. This is making health care in the 1890s look futuristic.

Correction - we don´t need to scrap it and start over. We need to scrap it and leave health care the way it used to be - in the private sector. Remember those days? Back when we had the best health care system humanity has ever known?

I am beginning to formulate a kernel of hope for the future that this generation in and leaving college will be the most conservative, Constitution-faithful that we have had in many years.

If enough young people are smart enough to realize the travesty that liberalism is trying to carry out upon their lives, this may well wind up being the bitter pill that leads to recovery of the country we all love.

Tensions continued to mount over Ukraine Tuesday as that nation´s military engaged rebel insurgents in the east and Russian leaders refused to recognize the Kiev leadership as legitimate, blaming it for the growing instability. An estimated 50,000 Russian troops remain massed on Ukraine´s borders as uniformed intimidation. In the adjacent Black Sea, a Russian military jet buzzed American naval ships, the high-seas equivalent of a drive-by middle finger.

It was a tense standoff in rural Nevada with armed protesters closing I-15 for a while and facing off against even more heavily-armed federal agents. For now, that volatile Bundy Ranch confrontation has been defused. But it´s not over by any means. And we may well experience others that do not pause in non-violence. These are profound disputes illustrative of abiding suspicions among average Americans and their government headed by a man who promised to bring people together but didn´t. And it comes in an uncertain economic time when so many have given up big dreams just to keep what

The impending death of Archie

Hate to break the news to you, but our old pal Archie Andrews is doomed. After 73 years of not looking a day over 17, the long-running all-American symbol of wholesomeness and teen goodness is set to die in July, according to Archie Comics. He´ll go out good, saving someone. Which is swell. But is this really necessary in a soiled age of cynicism, non-heroes and non-role models, lying leaders and downright criminals? It's already hard enough being a parent with all the unwholesome temptations at hand. Must we inevitably give up every enduring symbol of hope and good and fun for a one-month publicity splash?

GOP: Not just equal pay,

There was plenty of talk in Washington this week about equal pay. The thing is — it was just that: more talk. As a woman who worked at McDonald’s to get through college…. as the mom of two young daughters … and as the elected representative of thousands of hardworking women, I have always supported equal pay for equal work. And if a woman is being paid less than a man because of gender discrimination, that is both wrong and against the law. The protections provided to women and others in the Equal Pay Act must be enforced to make certain there is no pay disparity because of discrimination.

Hi, everybody. Earlier this week was Equal Pay Day. It marks the extra time the average woman has to work into a new year to earn what a man earned the year before. You see, the average woman who works full-time in America earns less than a man — even when she’s in the same profession and has the same education. That´s wrong. In 2014, it’s an embarrassment. Women deserve equal pay for equal work. This is an economic issue that affects all of us. Women make up about half our workforce. And more and more, they’re our families’ main breadwinners. So it’s good for everyone when women are paid fairly.

President Obama and wife Michelle are back on the road again, this time in Texas to harvest more Democrat dollars for the looming November midterm election. The previously-scheduled fundraising foray was tacked onto Obama´s memorial speech Wednesday at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Why let a nationally-televised shooting memorial go to waste when you can use such an official activity to cut the Democratic Party´s cost of political transportation on Air Force One for two fundraisers in Houston and another one today in Austin?

Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

Climate change’s latest casualty appears to be fish — or more specifically, fish brains — as researchers say the carbon dioxide that’s being absorbed into the ocean is causing the scaly creatures to lose their survival instincts. In other words, the fish are losing their minds, The Daily Mail reported. The acid from atmospheric carbon dioxide seeps into sea waters, dissolves and ultimately lowers the pH balance, researchers said. The acidic waters then hamper the fishes’ sensory systems, so they’re not able to distinguish between smells any longer, the scientists went on. When the acid levels get really high, the fish lose their
