HONOLULU- Barack Obama and family landed in Honolulu late Friday to kick off a two-week Hawaiian vacation, what the U.S. president earlier described as a chance for "sleep and sun" after a bruising year in Washington. Obama, with wife Michelle and daughters Malia and Sasha, along with Marian Robinson, Mrs. Obama´s mother, emerged from Air Force One in casual garb after a 9 1/2 hour flight. First dogs Bo and Sunny were also present. The Obamas were welcomed by dignitaries including Admiral Samuel Locklear, Commander of the U.S. Pacific Command, and Governor of Hawaii Neil Abercrombie. The first couple briefly

Yes, they all worked so hard for us, they really need to just kick back on Air Force One as they reach into our pockets again, which can be exhausting and cause repetitive hand injuries.

When did a 17 day vacation become a "two week vacation"? Same question with headline, "year end", which implies just 11 days, ending 12/31, the same day when 5-7 million American families lose their preferred health plans.

As to Obama´s allegedly tired appearance at his presser yesterday, he appeared to be high, possibly from cocaine to make himself believe that he is indeed awesome. He is surely not tired from manning the ObamaNoCare phone desk. "Yes, my plans only cover your care within your county. No, I don´t believe a $9,500 deductible is too high: I gotta a lot of people to subsidize. Well, blame Bush......"

Not one brave reporter asked them yesterday if the Grifter family thought it was excessive in these economically trying times to spend 4 million dollars on a "family" vacation. This immediately after they spend 11 million on a trip to the Mandela memorial for the selfie seen around the world.

That´s 15 million dollars for travel within 2 weeks. It appears as if they will exceed the usual 1.4 billion a year to keep them in the style to which they have become accustomed.

The economy created 192,000 jobs in March, down from 197,000 in February and still well below the pace needed to lower underemployment to respectable levels. Those mediocre results are consistent with a broadly underperforming economy. Manufacturing employment lost 1,000 jobs and government stalled.
