War Begins: Slandering

The attacks have begun. The Republican establishment in the U.S.A. has now actually started the shooting war in the 2014 primary elections they have been threatening against conservative candidates for Congress. “Hopefully we’ll go into eight to 10 races and beat the snot out of them,” said former Rep. Steve LaTourette of Ohio. His new political group, Defending Main Street, plans to raise $8 million to defeat tea-party candidates and elect moderate Republicans instead. “We’re going to be very aggressive and we’re going to get in their faces.” LaTourette was a close ally of moderate Republican Speaker John Boehner in

Bring. It. On. Some people have their heads in a very dark place as they have not seen what´s happening in the Duck Dynasty kerfuffle. You will further rile the angry giant that has had ENOUGH of your type. "Moderates" who sold this country´s values and standing to "Progressives" a BIG part of the problem. Go ahead, slander decent men and women trying to right the ship. You will regret it.

1. I wonder if his "former" status has anything to do with this?

2. Isn´t there a swearing disease named after him?

THEN WE Conservatives must counter them by sending donations to Heritage Foundation! DO NOT DONATE TO RNC...whatever you do. We ALL have to donate. Why do you think WH Admin wants to take away your jobs and money? SO they can TAKEOVER. I knew this before Obama was elected the first time because I did the research on him and those backing him. FACT.....did they take away your jobs and money? Answer: YES. Now your guns....Yes....They are removing your freedoms and removing your power to stop them. Think about it.

They do understand #5 . . . They don´t care.

It appears the republican leadership has made a deal with the democrats. The democrats will help ´enough´ (the key word is enough) moderate republicans to be elected to LOOK like opposition, but never enough to be the majority. That is the way to discourage a Tea Party, third party.

Together they´ll be . . . Hell, they ARE already, combined, into the ruling class

The establishment GOP have shown they are good at throwing money away. Go for it, your eight million will be wasted. The entire country is simmering, on the edge, ready to get rid of those who don´t act in the country´s best interests. The establishment only worry about their own interests, it´s time to go.

Wouldn´t it be nice if all this "moderate" anger and energy were directed at Democrats. I thought Dems were our political enemies...I guess not. Well, we´ll see.

Heritage is one place to send money. Senate Conservatives´ Fund is another and support your local Tea Party candidates.

In spite of what moderate Low-T´s want you to believe there are more of us than there are of them...but it´s typical of their faulty reasoning.

Trey Gowdy is a busy guy, and an up-and-coming senator says he should be on the Supreme Court. ? Over the past year or so, Gowdy, a South Carolina Republican congressman, has drawn substantial national attention, winning adulation from Tea Party activists who like his tough questioning in committee hearings. His growing prominence and indisputably Southern demeanor have made him one of the standouts from the 2010 House class. He’s in good company. Gowdy entered the House in the 2010 Tea Party wave along with three other freshman South Carolina Republicans: Tim Scott, Jeff Duncan, and Mick Mulvaney. The four were nicknamed

Russia´s Putin has invaded his neighbor’s sovereign territory. He must and will face serious repercussions for doing so, and the international community must make the price severe. Unless we are willing to go to war for Ukraine—and I believe that would be unwise—Russia without question has the military might and geographic advantage to control the Crimea and the Russian dominated areas of Ukraine. But at what cost? Russia´s stock market is dropping precipitously and their economy is quite dependent on exports that depend on a stable Ukraine.

Russia’s invasion of Crimea is a tipping point event that will further spur the American oil boom. The European Union (EU) and United States in 2008 threatened to slap economic sanctions on Russia for invading Georgia. But after a while the criticism faded and threats of sanctions were quietly dropped, because the EU is almost entirely reliant on Russia for energy supplies. A similar situation is unfolding today as the EU and U.S. are again making empty threats that they will stop exports of Russian oil and gas as punishment for invading the Ukraine. House Speaker John A. Boehner, who has tangled repeatedly with the right wing of the Republican Party, has not been invited to this week’s Conservative Political Action Conference, a major snub at the annual gathering and a sign of the top Republican officeholder’s struggle to find common ground with grass-roots activists. People familiar with CPAC’s planning, who spoke only on the condition of anonymity, said the American Conservative Union, which hosts the event, never sent an invitation to Mr. Boehner, in part because it wanted the focus this year to be on leading conservative thinkers at the grass-roots level and not

Mr. Burton´s "hate crime" was a post on Twitter which described Fiyaz Mughal (who runs an "anti-Islamophobia" website/organisation called Tell MAMA) as a "mendacious grievance-mongering taqiyya-artist." As a result of all this, Burton was supposed to have stood trial on the 18th February 2014 at Birmingham Magistrates´ Court. The power of these unions, once among the most feared in American politics, has imploded in the last three years. Scott Walker and his modest plans to bring public employee unions back into the realm of fiscal sanity were attacked in a prolonged and vicious campaign rarely seen in politics today. One of the most seismic changes in American politics over the last decade has been the emergence of a sharp generational split among the electorate. The Democratic Party owes its success in the last two presidential elections almost entirely to overwhelming support among the very young, which has overcome continued conservatism among older voters. The Pew Research Institute has dominated the field of exploring the ideological cleavages among different generations. And its latest survey shows again how the liberalism of the youngest voting cohort, millennials, remains firm, and likely to continue to recast the electorate. A few charts from the survey

The most dangerous parts of a flight are takeoff and landing. Rarely do incidents happen when a plane is cruising seven miles above the earth. Hi, everybody. This week, I traveled to New England, where I was joined by four governors who are working to raise the minimum wage in each of their states. And they’ve also joined me in calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour. Because it would give nearly 800,000 Americans in their states a raise — and lift wages for about 28 million across the country. So these governors aren’t waiting for Congress to make up its mind. And in my State of the Union Address, I asked America’s business leaders to go ahead and do what they could to raise their employees’ wages, too.
