The 14th Fix
PJ Media, by Richard Fernandez

Original Article

The people in charge of the Obamacare rollout have may their difficult position even worse. The root of the latest self-inflicted catastrophe is their determination to forge ahead with an flawed product by simply papering over the cracks. These bands aids eventually come off and they find themselves worse off than before. Having attained the dubious achievement of canceling millions of policies in America, including practically all the health care insurance in Guam without providing a working replacement system, the administration has decided to temporarily allow people to buy the “bare-bones” insurance policies formerly allowed only to people under 30.

Comments:
How many times has Obama illegally altered provisions of the law named for him? Fourteen, on the way to infinity, unless some constitutionally principled judge calls a halt to the entire totalitarian exercise in futility. Mark my words, this ill-conceived (like its unofficial namesake) law will cause American citizens so much pain and aggravation it will shift the D.C. power balance back rightward for a generation. There´s no more effective teacher than horrible experience. And the second bird to be killed by this single stone will be the dutiful, corrupted Mainstream Media.

The objective of Obama and the liberal Democrats all along has been to destroy and sabotage the American health care insurance system so that they could eventually bring in a single payer government run health care system for just about everyone, except for the elites and the rich and famous who will always have a first class private health care system at their disposal. It looks like Obama and the liberal Democrats are moving down that road as the Republicans stand aside and watch.

Rep Johnson knew something bad would happen in Guam, but he didn´t know what that might be so he imagined the place just flipping over!

Now we know. Obama canceled their medical insurance ~ just eliminated it!

It´s all gone.

They will die of shark bites no doubt.

Do we really believe PJ Media has actual editors that proof read articles before publication?

OMG!

FTA: "... rollout have may their difficult position..." "...to forge ahead with an flawed..." "These bands aids eventually..."

If this really from "The Onion?"

Tampa Bay Lightning forward Ryan Malone was arrested early Saturday morning and faces charges of possession of cocaine and driving under the influence, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Malone, 34, was arrested at 3:23 a.m. at Platt Street and Rome Avenue in Tampa, the HCSO arrest report said. A Tampa police officer stopped Malone after seeing his 2014 Chevrolet Suburban make a left turn from a center lane of South Armenia Avenue onto Platt Street and then strike the curb at South Howard Avenue, police said. When Malone exited the vehicle, the officer smelled alcohol on his breath,

A Lake Wales hunter says he was attacked by a Florida panther while he was calling turkeys near Lake Kissimmee in Central Florida. If true, it would be the first recorded panther attack on a human since the 1800s. Unfortunately, say state biologists, the hunter waited three weeks to report it. That means they cannot verify that it occurred. His wounds are nearly healed, and rain that has fallen since the attack has obscured any paw prints the animal may have left behind. Still, Byron Maharrey is sure about what pounced on him from behind and left him scratched and

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Bill Haas shot a 4-under 68 to lead the Masters on Thursday, the first time he´s headed a major at the end of a round. The son of longtime PGA Tour player Jay Haas broke 70 for the first time in five Augusta National appearances. The 31-year-old American started the tournament with a bogey, but bounced back to knock in six birdies on a warm, sunny day when only three other players got into the 60s. After criticizing President Obama throughout his second term, I´ve reversed course and decided that he´s a tremendous leader, one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history. Perfection is too high of a bar to set for any man, or any president, but Obama has come close to clearing it. What stands between this president and Mount Rushmore? Republicans—specifically, the stubborn extremists who control the House under the weak leadership of Speaker John Boehner. Gridlock, hyper-partisanship, and ineffective governance, those traits that make Washington so unpopular with voters, are singularly the fault of the GOP. It is not Obama´s fault; none

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters.
