Robertson Family Issues Statement
on Duck Dynasty’s Future on A&E

The night after A&E decided to suspend Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson over comments he made in an interview about homosexual sex, the Robertson family posted a statement to its website about the future of the show. Read the full statement below: We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E’s decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word. While some of Phil’s unfiltered

Again, A&E made muti millions of dollars off this family and NOW they decide that threir values do not conform to their standards? I think this man was set up in order to put them in their place as they were the #1 show and could begin making demands. Which, I don´t see them doing. A&E and ALL OF Hollyweird are despicable scum, users and heretics. Let the network die a slow painful death during which all of its holdings, assets, etc., are lost. It will serve them right. Yes, that makes Phil a better Christian than I am, but I´m working on it. As we all are.

The Robertson family should tell A&E to bring back Phil Robertson or there will be no more shows.

Again (I´ve been saying this all day), do not buy Duck Dynasty merchandise if you want to show support for the Robertsons. Buy Duck Commander. A&E gets the lion´s share of DD merch sales.

I think A&E did this for several reasons and one of them was to goad a Chic-fil-A response where people would buy a bunch of DD gear to support their favorite TV family. A&E would rake it in and they´d also have satisfied their lefty cohorts who don´t like that they´ve given a platform to Christians.

I love this statement from the family. Unity is something the entertainment industry is often stymied by. Plus the fans who are making their voices heard. I don´t think this will end well for A&E.

Just remind everyone not to buy DD! It won´t support the Robertsons, it will support A&E.

I like the show, but wouldn´t mind a bit if the family pulled the plug on A&E. Glad to see them stand up for their beliefs and their patriarch; that´s the kind of people they are.

Somebody needs to draw the line against rampant P.C. and the huge double standard that is applied to Christians. Might as well be the Robertsons.

A&E did not think this through...as usual for a leftist organization, always a knee jerk reaction.

I am confident that the Robertson Family could produce the show themselves. and retain their sponsors.

I hope that is the direction they go; they have a #1 rated show, they can call their own shots. And, I will continue to pray for them all.

Next thing you know, Stinky and the IRS will try to audit them. If that happens, there will be a ground swell of problems for Obama, DOJ, and the IRS.

Its time to roll folks, the left has been unchallenged for the last 5 years. Enough is Enough with these Fascist. And, the RINOS who support them in Congress.

The internet is growing too, as a venue for good entertainment. My hubby gets on you tube for Gardening HowTos, stories and blogs of families on their farms, etc. I like travelogues of folks visiting far away historical places. We watch it all using our Apple TV. The Shaytards is a family-style You Tube channel with millions of loyal viewers. The Robertsons could go this route too!

...Hmmm, pondering why each nbc cable channel has morphed into one fantasy PC-message agenda, regardless of each one´s name & former supposed focus? ´Tis a conundrum.

They are about to come face to face with the reality that there are more of us than there are of them, and we are just not going to take it anymore. This is a chance to take a stand, not just for yourselves but also for all decent Americans who have become marginalized, shut up, ostracized, extorted, pre-criminalized. You have the chance to show them...all of them...that we´re not taking it any more.

WALK! And don´t even look back. We´re with you.

Not knowing the terms of their contract, perhaps the Robertson family might duck walk right on over to Glenn Beck´s network and take him up on his offer, if in fact he has made one. A&E deserves a little smack down. The lib networks...Discovery, Cooking channels, just to name a few need a bit of tar and feathers. Time we God fearing people stood up for what´s right....and THIS is right. Together you stand and stand in strength ready to slay the Goliath. Bring it on.

If you are perceived as a loyal socialist, the Left will allow you to say, and do, literally anything. If you are not, they demand only your silence and obedience. America is still very much asleep about all this.

Duck Dynasty has a contract with A&E that they have to go over before they can walk if that is their plan. Glenn Beck has offered them to come on his programming, which I think would be so excellent. Then they can say whatsoever they want to say with no one to stop them.

#18, One of the things the POTUS did upon becoming POTUS was to appoint a Public Schools Czar who had plans to educate (indoctrinate) our school children about ´fisting´ and other sexual acts among homosexuals. Of course, the bluntness and contrast of "lifestyles" would not have been part of that "education". God and the Bible have been banned from school, so no worries about absolutes of right or wrong, good or evil, according to our Creator, there either. That´s way more than Phil´s calling male and female parts by their proper names.

It´s not as if Phil said homosexuals were like ´whited sepulchers´ as Jesus did the scribes and Pharisees.
Matthew 23:27 "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men´s bones, and of all uncleanness."

He was only providing information from Scripture about homosexuality being listed among the sins in the inspired writing of the apostle Paul that would prevent inheritance of the kingdom of heaven.

A House committee voted Wednesday to formally ask the Justice Department to consider criminal prosecution against ex-IRS official Lois Lerner, the figure at the center of the political targeting scandal. The House Ways and Means Committee voted 23-14 to send the criminal referral. The vote marked an escalation in Republicans´ push to confront Lerner over her role in the agency´s controversial practice of singling out conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status for extra scrutiny. On another front, a separate committee will vote Thursday on whether to hold her in contempt of Congress for twice refusing to testify on the scandal.

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. My first published column was in a local paper opposing the Equal Rights Amendment for the same reasons that Phyllis Schlafly, a conservative lawyer, campaigned on. As ambiguously written, the ERA, would eliminate the men-only draft requirement, repeal protective laws like sexual assault and eliminate the tendency for mothers to obtain custody over their children in divorce cases. Ironically, one of the arguments that helped sink the amendment from ratification was the fear that single-sex bathrooms would no longer be permitted. In addition, opponents of the amendment also warned that it would lead to abortion on demand and same-sex marriages.
