Why liberals soured on
President Obama in 2013

The Week, by Jon Terbush

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 12/19/2013 4:26:56 AM

O ne year removed from re-election, President Obama´s approval rating has sunk to the lowest level of his presidency. Furthermore, Obama´s popularity among the Democratic Party base — whose rejuvenated support proved crucial last November — took a huge hit this past year. Only 54 percent of self-described liberals "very strongly" approve of Obama´s job performance, according to a Pew survey released this week. That´s down from an all-time high of nearly 90 percent, and a significant decline from the 73 percent who strongly approved of the president back in June. Why the steep drop? Well, the first year of Obama´s second term

The liberals have soured on Obama for the exact opposite reasons republicans and conservatives have. While we hate the wasted money and destruction of the healthcare system, liberals are mad because his proposals aren´t generous or easy enough. Nobody on the lefts sees Obamacare as an assault on freedom and liberty, they just don´t like having to jump through hoops to get something free.Obama can fix the problems with the left by doing things like ordering insurance companies to cover people for free.

This article ends its litany of Obama’s failures with a sense of wonder that somehow things went wrong and a mild curiosity as to how that happened. Liberals simply refuse to face the fact that THEY are the problem – that their core beliefs are false and dangerous – that any administration based on those beliefs will bring chaos and destruction to the nation.

Hopefully, a majority of America’s voting populace do not share this confusion

White House Briefing Room

Wednesday, December 18, 2013

Jay Carney: First, an announcement. In an effort to shore up support among his most loyal supporters, the president has written a rap song targeting minority millennials.

Ed Henry: A rap? Who helped him?

Carney: No one. The president believes that even in a room full of famous rappers like Jay-Z, he´d be the one most likely to produce a hit.

[passes out copies of the lyrics; reporters scan]

Major Garrett: Jay, the normal rap verse has sixteen bars, the chorus eight. The president´s effort violates these standards. And the rhyme scheme is . . . unusual.

Carney: The president doesn´t feel bound by the rules, Major. He´s said repeatedly, if he can´t work within convention when he raps whites--uh, I mean, writes rap-- he´ll ignore convention.

Garrett: Who´s going to set this to music?

Carney: Unnecessary. The faithful will supply the beat as they imagine him performing the song. If he records it for the general public, he´ll appropriate some other rapper´s music. The president has told rappers many times, ´´If I like your beat, I can keep it.´´

[end transcript]

The rap:

Gotta Get Up Before We Get Down

I´m the oval office brother who pushed through the mother
of all health care laws
and if that turkey´s gonna fly whether now or by and by
ya gotta sign for it bro then pony what ya owe
doesn´t matter a damn if ya bum it or ya cadge it
or ya score it in a scam
don´t be rebelius give it up for Sebelius
Rashan help me here man you´re just what I need
be a navigator you can still smoke your weed
sell the pitch I been hawkin´ in the ´hood get ´em talkin´
I got your back in a mess if the Caspers cause you stress
they´ll be hearin´ from my friends at the IRSsssssssss

The liberal communist only soured because they thought they would be living in their communist Utopian dreamland by now. There would be no opposition from radical right wing extremist Tea Party terrorist and their schlub communist leader didn´t deliver on time.
Opposition push back to the stupid non-health care stopped them dead in their tracks and they will be getting a bill and not a freebie from their beloved lazy, vacationing, ´selfie´ leader instead. It´s not all happy in La La Land.

Anyone on the left has been brainwashed to believe they are the ones with all the answers. They are committed ideologues and the rest are merely braying cheerleaders who will not admit their ideas are dangerous and destructive. When have you ever heard them promote hard work? They are all about being given things. Hard work is for Republicans, not them. Some may have turned on Obama but there are those who will never turn to the Republicans for answers. Until they break the chains of progressive ideology, there is no hope for them. However, the smart ones who have critical thinking skills come to realize the democrats offer nothing but a ghetto/white trash future and want more for their families. Those are the ones that have soured on Obama. May there be more of them everyday. Mental bondage to a failed political philosophy is a life sentence of proverty.

Bull.... oney. And wishful thinking.
A majority of those who still supported Obama in 2012 have not ´´soured´´ on him.
If an election were held tomorrow, and the Republican candidate was one nominated solely by a majority of Lucianne.com members - only, Obama would still win.
Don´t get your hopes up too soon.
The Dem/MSM is just jerking you around a little trying to re-establish a bit of acceptable credibility for the coming election.
Meanwhile, Obama &Co. move ever more freely in the direction they intend to go. And you can almost hear them saying it at every supposed hurdle that disintegrates when right-wing pressure is applied: ´´What are YOU gonna do about it?´´
And that´s a pretty good question.

Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh and WSJ: STOP calling communists and socialists the good name of "liberal !.
Liberal means freedom! founding fathers were called classic liberals. The Marxists and Fabian socialists STOLE the word in 1920 to fool all the people, fool them all into not realizing their frantic attempts to communize America. Stealth communism has been aided by deceptively, falsely calling it liberalism or progressivism.
Well meaning fools like Ann Coulter support this deception, support this fake ID. FEAR is stopping the Good Guys, like Rush, from STOPPING this destructive habit.
Forced compliance is not freedom of choice. ObamaFraud is a mildly disguised forced scheme against a free people. It ain´t liberal!
Go ahead, have the guts to call a Juan or a Beckel, a socialist, or better, a commie, communist, statist, red, pinko, but no longer let any of them get way with the outright deception of liberal How can we better win this war peacefully if we are indoctrinated into using their false words? The Left/liberals have soured on Obama because it is becoming so obvious that his policies just don´t work, and his mistakes are becoming more obvious. That´s partly because the Left isn´t covering for him quite as much--even David Gergen is jumping ship--saying this is a case of "near malfeasance."

So, on to the next utopian Marxist: Hillary.

Its not about Stinky´s lying, its that funding for ObamaCare is not coming from other people´s money, Its being paid for by them, the Liberal young.

The technology behind a huge part of Obamacare´s efforts to expand insurance coverage—the part aimed at low-income Americans—remains far from fixed, and the glitches are keeping some of the nation´s most vulnerable patients from getting insured. The administration launched a "tech surge" to improve the HealthCare.gov experience for those shopping for private insurance, but the website´s process for enrolling in Medicaid remained mired in glitches. And for President Obama´s efforts to expand health coverage that´s a major problem. To reach would-be Medicaid recipients, the Affordable Care Act relies on potential enrollees being able to effectively navigate the law´s website to enroll. And

But when you are a witness at the center of a congressional investigation, and the “no” reflects the House Oversight Committee’s decision not to accept your refusal to testify, then it’s not quite so simple. And that is where Lois Lerner, the former Internal Revenue Service official at the center of the IRS scandal, now finds herself. Lerner’s case is by now well known. From 2006 to 2013, she was the IRS’s Director of Exempt Organizations, vested with power to decide which nonprofit organizations receive tax-exempt status, which

Attorney General Eric Holder strayed from prepared remarks to slam the way he was “treated” by a House committee the day before, calling it evidence of “ugly and divisive” civil rights challenges facing him and President Barack Obama. Speaking to the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network at its annual convention in New York on Wednesday, Holder talked about the state of civil rights today and brought up a House committee hearing Tuesday that grew contentious, according to video from Mediaite and reports from outlets including Capital New York. “The last five years have been defined by significant strides and

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A caveat right off the bat: RAND’s estimate only runs through March 28 whereas the actual deadline for signing up was March 31st. Given the crush of traffic on Healthcare.gov in late March, many more people could have signed up over those last three days than were captured by these numbers. On the other hand, the White House was claiming six million sign-ups as of March 27. There’s no way to reconcile that with RAND’s data. One of them is wrong. Maybe both, in fact. There’s a big spike in Medicaid, just as everyone expected. There’s a less big but

A new review is questioning the effectiveness of two key drugs enlisted in the fight against influenza and in turn the investments by governments to stockpile the drugs in the event of a global flu outbreak. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Eric Holder ventured off script in a speech Wednesday to the National Action Network, the organization led by MSNBC host and recently-exposed FBI informant Al Sharpton. “I’m pleased to note that the last five years have been defined by significant strides and by lasting reforms,” said Holder at the conference of black activists, before improvising “even in the face, even in the face, of unprecedented, unwarranted, ugly, and divisive adversity.” “If you don’t believe that, if you look at the way, forget about me, forget about me, if you look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) could face up to five years in federal prison for obstructing a Congressional proceeding. On Wednesday, Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) and five Subcommittee Chairmen on the committee sent a letter to Ranking Member Cummings demanding an explanation for his staff’s queries from the IRS, why the Minority hid these efforts from the Majority, and why the Ranking Member denied such actions by his staff at a February Subcommittee hearing: “Although you have previously denied that your staff made inquiries to the IRS about conservative organization True the Vote that may have led to additional

Although the news media and Hollywood relish telling stories about horrific crimes and serial killers, they are strangely silent about Dr. Kermit Gosnell, an abortionist who killed living, viable babies by snipping their spinal cords with scissors, and who is “America’s most prolific serial killer,” said actor Kevin Sorbo and his wife Sam Jenkins in a video to promote funding for a movie about Gosnell. “Kermit Gosnell is America’s most prolific serial killer,” says Kevin Sorbo, who starred in the TV series Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. “For more than three decades he was an abortion doctor in Philadelphia, where he

As a former President of The Most Powerful Country In The World, George W Bush has significantly greater access to world leaders than most budding artists. (Snip) Art critics have pointed out that a number of the 30 portraits in the exhibition appear to be based on images thrown up by a cursory search of the person´s name in Google Images. In some cases the portrait seems to have been based on the very first image result on the search engine. Rather remarkably, even the portrait of his own father, someone who he surely could have asked to sit for him, appears to be based on an Associated Press portrait which appears on the first page of

This morning I clicked on a link to a Red State website article concerning “The War on Women” and “Paycheck Equality” and got quite a surprise (the same thing happens when a Firefox user goes directly to the article). Nanny Firefox posted a political opinion on my screen before allowing me to proceed to read the article. This message didn’t appear when I accessed a second article which met with Firefox’s political commissar’s approval. Here’s what Firefox said: Careful Now! (shouldn’t they have said “Achtung! or “Verboten!” or something similar?). This website could not be displayed by Firefox because it is not
