ObamaCare fibs make
Obama the year’s biggest liar

New York Post, by Michael Goodwin

Original Article

Congratulations to President Obama. He keeps racking up victories, and now has been named winner of the Lie of the Year award. Oops, so sorry. Being No. 1 isn’t always a good thing. Then again, the sponsor of the award, PolitiFact, understated the president’s great skill at bending the arc of truth. The fact-checkers called Obama’s claim that “if you like your health-care plan, you can keep it” the biggest whopper of 2013, and 59 percent of its mostly liberal readers agreed. But hold on, that’s discrimination. Think of all the other known ObamaCare lies that got overlooked. His promise that you can keep

Journalists need to stop using the word "fib" with regard to Obama´s out and out LIES. A fib is a small or trivial lie; a minor falsehood. Obama does not fib; he lies, he fabricates, he creates his own facts/truths; but he never ever fibs.

Obama needs to be impeached for jeopardizing the health of millions of Americans. This cannot stand when millions of Americans are faced with healthcare bills they can never afford. People with important healthcare needs like newly-diagnosed cancer just had their current insurance protection cancelled. Obama is a disgusting liar.

You could easily argue that Obama got re-elected under false pretenses along with a slew of dems who knew Obama´s lies also before then.

To only pick out Obama´s lies on Obamacare alone is a grave injustice. He had to know the Arab Spring was a phony concoction also and mislead people calling it a democracy movement when it was an Islamic empowerment one.

You have the ongoing lie of 7% unemployment even in the face of workforce participation being lower than in a 100 years.

At least Zero is consistent. He also won the award the year before, and the year before, etc., except that the enemedia covered for him.

Considering the horrific ramifications to America of Zero´s current Lie of the Year, maybe now he can win a Nobel Fleece Prize.

Sad news: One of television´s original comic stars, Sid Caesar, has died. He was 91 and at home in Los Angeles, according to his friend and former collaborator, Carl Reiner, reports Reuters. His biographer and friend, Eddy Friedfeld, confirmed the news to the Los Angeles Times. Friedfeld told the paper Caesar died after a brief illness. A Republican poll conducted last week found Democratic Sen. Mark Warner leading GOP challenger Ed Gillespie by just 6 points, 44 percent to 38 percent, among likely voters in Virginia. The automated survey, conducted by the Republican firm Harper Polling for the center-right American Action Network and shared exclusively with POLITICO, also found that a generic Republican would beat a generic Democrat by four points among likely voters in the Commonwealth, 46 percent to 42 percent. Warner, a freshman senator who was previously governor, is working hard to reassert his bipartisan bona fides. The poll found that Warner is viewed favorably

South Carolina Rep. Jim Clyburn stayed publicly neutral during most of the epic 2008 presidential primary battle between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. But former President Bill Clinton believed Clyburn was personally responsible for his wife’s 29-point drubbing in the pivotal Palmetto State -- and he let him know it in no uncertain terms. In a new memoir -- “Blessed Experiences: Genuinely Southern, Proudly Black” -- due out this spring, Clyburn recounts how an irate Bill Clinton called him the early morning after the January primary at 2:15 a.m. to take him to task. “If you bastards want a fight,

How many Obamacare customers

Democrats claim three million people have enrolled in private health insurance through Obamacare. But how many have actually paid for their plans? Several state exchanges have begun reporting the number of customers that did pay their first premiums, and some results are as low as 51 percent. The Obama administration defines HealthCare.gov enrollees as those who have simply selected plans, but not paid. If the limited data available plays out for more states, actual enrollment could be much lower than the three million private insurance signups currently claimed. Only five of the 15 state exchanges clearly differentiate between paid enrollments

On a crisp autumn morning, Ted Cruz emerged from the headquarters of the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C., and dashed toward a black BMW that was waiting to whisk him to the Capitol. Cruz was moving quickly, dressed in a slightly baggy charcoal suit with black ostrich cowboy boots, but he made it only a few steps beyond the building’s classical facade before he paused, coughed, and seemed to lose his focus. Repeal the Debt Ceiling

A mere eight weeks from the December budget deal, House Republicans on Tuesday bowed to the inevitable and allowed a vote on a "clean" debt-ceiling increase that Democrats promptly passed—no reform strings attached. Perhaps as a follow-up the GOP could repeal the debt ceiling altogether and finally end this periodic self-torture. Speaker John Boehner deserves some credit for bucking his caucus´s earlier gambit to pair a debt-ceiling increase with a measure to repeal December´s modest cut in military pension cost-of-living increases. So for the sake of forcing Democrats to vote against "veterans"—if Democrats also voted for a clean debt increase—Republicans were

SAN DIEGO -- Being a liberal means never having to be consistent. Take the idea that women should make their own choices about family and career and it is no one else’s business what they choose to do. That sounds good. I just can’t believe it’s coming from liberals who have never been particularly skilled at resisting the urge to criticize women over the choices they make -- if those women are conservative Republicans. In the 1992 presidential campaign, Hillary Clinton defended her choice to pursue a high-powered legal career by taking a swipe at the June Cleaver crowd. “I suppose I could

Mamas, don’t let your babies grow up to be child stars. Not, that is, unless you wish for them an adult life—presuming they live so long—stamped by professional failure, revolving door rehab, and psychiatric counseling with no expiration date. There are few exceptions to the downward spiraling after the age of 12, but the biggest would have to be Shirley Temple Black, who died Monday at the age of 85. (If,

There’s been a lot of fine commentary on the right about the decision by the president to delay the Affordable Care Act’s employer mandate for another year, which is just the most recent in a series of lawless acts by Mr. Obama, all aimed at keeping his teetering health plan from utterly collapsing. It’s worth pointing out, I think, that the manifold and multiplying failures of the Affordable Care Act were predicted by conservatives, many of whom warned–in advance, repeatedly, on the record–how awful ObamaCare would be. Things are, if anything, worse–or at least worse, quicker–than many on the right predicted. The

Since late last year, that PAC, Texans for a Conservative Majority, has run television ads and promoted a website that raise questions about Stockman’s character. It´s no surprise that Barack Obama´s authoritarian streak is revealing itself at last. It was always there; clearly apparent in his rhetoric (e.g., his envy of Chinese president Xi Jin-ping´s powers), his abuse of executive orders, his threats against Congress, his sultan with fly-whisk attitudes toward his opposition, and even his vacations, which reek more of third-world trash gamboling on the Riviera than any American leader (George W. Bush settled his mind by clearing brush in Texas, Reagan at his ranch in Santa Barbara. Obama unfortunately finds the brush already cleared in Martha´s Vineyard and Hawaii.)

President Obama has repeatedly suspended parts of the Affordable Care Act without the consent of Congress. The latest unilateral action happened Monday night, when the administration announced another delay of the employer mandate, the law´s provision that businesses with more than 50 employees must provide their employees with insurance starting in 2014 or pay large fines. In July, the president decreed the mandate wouldn´t be enforced at all in 2014, and last night administration officials declared that businesses with 50 to 99 employees wouldn´t be penalized in 2015.
