Exclusive–Rep. Phil Gingrey to
Sebelius: Prove You Met with

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Wynton Hall

In a move sure to spark consternation inside the White House, Rep. Phil Gingrey (R-GA) sent a letter Tuesday to embattled Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius requesting she produce a list of the one-on-one meetings she and President Barack Obama allege to have held in the over three-and-a-half years leading up to Obamacare’s calamitous rollout—meetings that do not appear on the White House´s own official calendar. “I have been greatly concerned over the lack of transparency and disregard for straight answers,” says Gingrey in his letter to Sebelius. “The Government Accountability Institute reported this

I don´t know what the Republicans can do about it besides hammer on them and rely on the conservative media to cover it. She can´t prove she met with Obama but they can´t prove she didn´t. The bottom line is that if he didn´t know about the coming website melt down he certainly should have and neither Obama or Sebelius think they should be held accountable and they are all continuing to lie about it. Washington is a cesspool and we are the victims.

Ask an honest question to a bunch of known liars and what do you think you will get? All these investigations and questions appear to be nothing but political theater because NO ONE is ever held accountable for anything. The Republican leadership is a joke. Feigned outrage is no outrage at all if it doesn´t produce actionable outcomes. The only thing produced at these hearings is hot air. Meaningful consequences to the actions of an out of control administration are non-existent. Wake me up when something changes. This is the most corrupt administration and also the one held the least accountable for their actions. I have lost all my faith in the Republican Party to do anything to curtail the activies of this evil administration.

#1 is right in addition who is going to force Sebelius to answer Rep. Gingrey? This Aministration is above the law and will just ignore the request. While obama may be suffering at the polls right now that won´t deter them from forcing the crap sandwich obamacare down our throats. Remember they know what is best for us and the GOP of course is on the sidelines just watching us eat it.

When my spouse died in 2011, I wrote down things on my calendar because I knew I was going to need to look back at what happened when. I continued all through 2012 and 2013. I kept these and I can´t tell you how helpful it has been. I can find the exact date I filed for benefits, meetings held with Vet Rep, and what was discussed on each date. Phone calls to VA, etc. A few words. It has been a life saver. Sebelious has a personal calendar..she needs to hand it over.

Poster Janjan @2 makes a good point. The ´Pubs can´t do much more than what they are doing now, expose the lies and incompetence and criminality and hope it eventually wakes up enough sheeple so that they vote differently next time. Although with Obombah and the ´Rats in charge of the toy store, I don´t have much hope for that (just hand out more "free money" and the sheep will shut up). What else can they do? Not fund Obombah´s giveaways and thereby shut down the government? We see how well that one went over last time. Impeach Obombah? I wouldn´t want to hang from a rope waiting for Harry Reid to allow that one to come up in the Senate, and even if it did the ´Rats would vote to acquit Obombah even if he killed his family on the front lawn of the WH in broad daylight on TV. So all the ´Pubs can do is keep shining the light on the cockroaches and hope eventually they get squashed.

What Gingrey should also ask Sebelius about:

1. what legal opinions she sought and Constitutional lawyers she met with while writing those mandates?

2. Does she have a written legal opinion?

3. Did she discuss them with Obama during those one-on-one meetings?

I’m delighted to pass along this item from Prof. Michael McConnell at Stanford. In my view, Michael is probably tied for most influential and respected Religion Clauses scholar in the nation today, both on the Free Exercise Clause side and the Establishment Clause side. He obviously has a perspective of his own on the underlying issues — he was, for instance, a forceful critic of the Court’s Employment Division v. Smith decision (a decision that I myself support, though I also support the existence of jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction Religious Freedom Restoration Act statutes). But his writings are always very much worth reading.

As part of its plan to reduce U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, the Obama administration is targeting the dairy industry to reduce methane emissions in their operations. This comes despite falling methane emission levels across the economy since 1990. The White House has proposed cutting methane emissions from the dairy industry by 25 percent by 2020. Although U.S. agriculture only accounts for about 9 percent of the country’s greenhouse gas emissions, according to the Environmental Protection Agency, it makes up a sizeable portion of methane emissions — which is a very potent greenhouse gas. Sometime before June, if things go true to form, President Obama is going to issue a warning to the Supreme Court to look after its reputation and refrain from outlawing the birth-control mandate of ObamaCare. He tried that stunt the last time ObamaCare was before the Nine, and Chief Justice Roberts switched his vote. Was the chief justice afraid? That is the word I keep thinking of. It is the word at the heart of perhaps the most famous utterance on religious freedom in American history — George Washington’s letter to the Jews. Our first president sent it in 1790,

President Obama said Pope Francis did not raise Obamacare “in detail” when they met on Thursday, but that in a separate meeting with the Vatican’s secretary of state “we discussed briefly the issue of making sure that conscience and religious freedom was observed in the context of applying the law.” At a joint press conference with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi, Obama also acknowledged that he differs with the Vatican’s stance on some issues, but added that he “heartily” agrees with most of its positions.
