They don´t really want to drag those dogs around but they´re needed for the Ward and June Cleaver family image.

They don´t want the dogs bothering them in the passenger dept. and PETA and such would complain if they rode in the baggage dept.so the taxpayers have fork out millions more for jet fuel.If the dogs need a separate plane for each of them, then we´re really getting crazy.

The only problem with these holiday vacations is the amount of support staff that gets screwed in having to leave their family during the holiday for such a long time. Is it ever possible that this President and his family consider others before and above themselves? They can´t stay home once and a while?

Yes, 0bama and Michelle once again are jetting off to yet another expensive, lavish and luxurious vacation. And, 0bama´s vacation was not cut short last year because he had to go back to DC, he actually flew his big plane BACK to Hawaii to enjoy another three days. The amount of money the 0bama´s spend on themselves is truly mind boggling. I wonder if Michelle will once again go a day early in her own plane with her own forty car motorcade, so that she does not have to travel with her husband.

The Daily Mail is not always reliable, folks. There is no island of Kailua. Though the wealthy who live and holiday there consider it to be an island of wealth on the island of Oahu.

Kailua is described as "a greener, quieter place than Honolulu". Long billed by the tourism commission as a destination for tourists, it is now inhabited by those who want the government to stop advertising it to tourists. If they could gate the whole town, they would.

Most working people don´t get 17 vacation days a year. And yet, Mr. pro-middle class thinks nothing of jetting off for 17 days in December and an equal amount in August--all on the taxpayer´s dime. It´s not like it´s a working vacation. He is renting (or getting for free) someone else´s house, which will not be set up for working (unlike, for instance, Bush´s ranch or Camp David). We´ll be treated to pictures of him playing golf and eating sno-cones while Rome burns, so to speak.

Here is a college quiz. While many parts of the U.S. economy struggle to recover from the Great Recession of 2008-09, one domestic industry is experiencing a technology-driven expansion in which American innovations have led to countless new company startups, a surge in hiring and some of the highest-paying entry-level jobs for graduating college seniors. How are the nation´s universities responding so students might prepare for a promising career in this growing and intellectually challenging field? By largely ignoring it. Why? CONCORD, N.H. — Republican Scott Brown said Monday he will kick off his next campaign for U.S. Senate in Portsmouth, the New Hampshire city he says played a special role in his childhood. The former Massachusetts senator will formally announce his bid for the seat held by Democrat Jeanne Shaheen at the Portsmouth Harborside Hotel on Thursday night. “I remember our house on Islington Street, strolling through Strawbery Banke with my grandfather, and catching a show at Prescott Park. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen sure talks a lot about “outside” money. She raises campaign funds by claiming to protect the state from outside “special interests” who might help Scott Brown. Those poor donors probably have no idea how much money Shaheen raises from out-of-state special interests. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks campaign donations, Shaheen has raised 75 percent of her 2014 campaign cash from out of state. For her career, Shaheen’s top 10 metropolitan areas for campaign donations are, in order: Boston; New York City; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; Lowell, Mass; San Francisco; Manchester; Chicago; Portsmouth; Philadelphia.
