Government Takeover: White House
Forces Obamacare Insurers
to Cover Unpaid Patients

Of all of the last-minute delays, website bungles, and Presidential whims that have marred the roll-out of Obamacare’s subsidized insurance exchanges, what happened on Thursday, December 12 will stand as one of the most lawless acts yet committed by this administration. The White House—having canceled Americans’ old health plans, and having botched the system for enrolling people in new ones—knows that millions of Americans will enter the new year without health coverage. So instead of actually fixing the problem, the administration is retroactively attempting to force insurers to hand out free health care—at a loss—to those whom the White House

Comments:
Yep, it´s a takeover. Aetna insures the armed forces and federal workers and the White House has probably told them that if they don´t go along with this, they will lose the entire federal book of business.

Our government doesn´t need to have taxpayers foot the bill. They can simply print the money and have *everyone* who has saved any money pay for it out of their savings. The hidden tax of inflation. Its such much more palatable than raising taxes. Now, if you´re irresponsible and up to your eyes in debt, you get a sweet deal too. Conservatives will pay since we´re the ones who save.

NEXT, they will demand that both Doctors and Hospitals take Obamacare patients without pay !!!

This IS the start of "single payer"............ The Government will pay for it later.

Where the truth to be known we would most likely discover that most if not all of these businesses are technically bankrupt and rely on creative bookkeeping or GAAP for short. When a supposedly thriving business needs to borrow operating capital they are not successfully operating within their means.

Just as government operates in the red by overspending without the means to increase taxation on the people even if they took all income there would only be enough money to run government for 90 days.

Obama was right on this one quote, "Americans are stupid when it comes to economics", but he was reading from a teleprompter so even that was not a reflection of his intelligence for if it was he would have added ´who vote for me´ right after ´Americans´.

That same $2000 if offered in cash to your doctor would get you $10,000 in services.

Why not keep your doctor on ´retainer´ and give him the money up front ?

You know it´s gonna happen.

Therefore it will be OUTLAWED.

Ideology is one thing, but Democrats supporting a President that is acting in an unlawful manner is frankly bewildering ( until you hear what they say during media interviews ). Then you realize many are irrational, bordering on insane. Unfortunately, some are just plain ignorant sycophants. There should be an IQ test to be able to run for Congress
as that would weed out 25% of the flunkies there now. ( In my opinion ).

Meanwhile Congress sits on its hands. Vulnerable Democrats making feeble attempts to recuse themselves from the bill they happily voted for, and the Republican so-called leadership spewing anger and hatred toward those trying to hold them accountable. It is all rather hard to believe really.

It is said, when one makes a fool out of him/herself, get out of the way and let it happen.

The democrats have proved themselves to be incompetent and fools regarding Obama Care.
They voted for it, gave testimony and they own it.

Congress has accepted the route of getting out of the way.

In January, tides of awakening American citizens will rise about the travesty of Obama Care and will finally become up front and then the rage will become flood level.

I have little sympathy for the insurance companies. They went into Obamacare expecting a windfall. What they are getting is a rolling disaster. But you can´t expect an insurance company to cover services for people with whom they do not have a contract.

The administration assures us that they are trying to get insurers to take care of the problems with the exchanges. Common sense says that that´s just another lie on their part. They know full well that insurance companies are forced to operate within the letter of the law. So Obama is covered and the insurance companies are covered. The only ones not covered are the ones who have lost their insurance thanks to a bunch of lame-brained progressive do-gooders.

This tyrannt is not just changing the American Dream, he is unilaterally eliminating the protection afforded in the Bill of Rights and additional Constitutional Amendments.

Forcing private businesses to work for free, forcing docs & nurses to work for pay not consistent with the market place is ILLEGAL.

Does anyone understand what they are saying ? "Treat the providers as if they are ´in network´ ?"

Does that mean "pay them the rates that they would not accept in order to join the network" ? The providers are NOT going to accept patients at those rates. If they were willing to do that, they WOULD BE in the network.

All Democrats need to be recalled.

PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii - President Obama and daughters Sasha and Malia have departed Hawaii after a 15-day family vacation for the holidays. The president and his daughters took off for Washington aboard Air Force One on Saturday night. Obama left Hawaii after a final low-key day spent mostly on the eastern side of the island. He played golf, hung out in his vacation home with his family and ate dinner at a popular steakhouse near a beachside park. After dinner, the family drove to Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. Obama and his daughters greeted people gathered behind a rope line to watch them depart.

Wildflowers splinter its wooden porch planks; a lonely patch of red paint marks an exterior long ago bleached by weather and neglect.
