Oprah: I Always Knew
I Didn’t Want Children

Oprah Winfrey seems to have it all, but the one thing she never wanted? Kids! While the 60-year-old media mogul did have a baby when she was 14 (the child died weeks after birth), she revealed in the Hollywood Reporter´s Women in Entertainment issue that she´s actually known since she was younger that being a mom just wasn´t for her. "Gayle [King] was the kind of kid who, in seventh grade home ec class, was writing down the names of her children," Winfrey said of her bff. "While she was having those kind of daydreams, I was having daydreams about

I never understood the cult of 0prah; I had friends that would hang on her every word. Most of them now see her for what she really is. We all listened to her "lies" about her latest venture, "The Butler," and we all decided never to see the movie. Glad to see that it got no mention in the latest awards ceremony. 0prah wants all of whites to feel guilty about how we treat blacks; well, my family never had slaves, and I never knew anyone who did. I treat blacks differently, because I have been robbed twice and assaulted once by black thugs.

Who cares?? I didn´t want children unless I could find someone I wanted to marry and could afford to give them a good and proper home life. I don´t have any. They are better off for that. Still, I wish I could have been able to do so. Too many people have children for selfish reasons too. They can´t take care of them but still want them. There is no right or wrong answer here. But I am glad she didn´t have any also. She is too weird and I would feel sorry for any children who had to grow up in that household.

A word to people that do not want kids.
As you get older you will find you are alone.
You may have friends but they are not the same as having a part of you that cares and
loves you. Being old and alone is a sad thing. As you get older it is not just your kids but the kids they have that make your life. You could have bad kids that make your life worse but that is not the norm.
The Oprah we are seeing today is not a nice person so maybe it is best she has no children.

Engineers have started emergency procedures to stabilize a Washington dam after they found a 65-foot crack in the structure. The Wanapum Dam, a hydroelectric project located on the Columbia River in Grant County, Wash., is still running after divers discovered a 65-foot crack that is 2-inches wide. The problem was first identified after an engineer noticed a “bowing” in the roadway above the dam and later discovered that a concrete spillway was raised above the water by 2.5 inches, according to Grant County Public Utility District spokesman Thomas Stredwick. “Since we’ve noticed the issue, there’s no additional movement for that spillway

The “greatest buried treasure ever unearthed in the United States” is about to be hit by the tax collector. According to Kathleen Pender, a columnist at the San Francisco Chronicle, the couple who found in cans buried on their property more than 1,400 rare gold coins worth more than $10 million will probably owe close to half of that sum in federal and state income tax, whether or not they sell the coins. FOR FIVE YEARS, President Obama has led a foreign policy based more on how he thinks the world should operate than on reality. It was a world in which “the tide of war is receding” and the United States could, without much risk, radically reduce the size of its armed forces. Other leaders, in this vision, would behave rationally and in the interest of their people and the world. Invasions, brute force, great-power games and shifting alliances — these were things of the past. Secretary of State John F. Kerry displayed this mindset on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday when he

President Obama´s proclaimed strategy to "bypass Congress" — most conspicuously his broad rewriting of the Affordable Care Act — has given unusual prominence to a fairly arcane legal doctrine: standing. Standing is what is preventing a potential blizzard of litigation against the president´s unilateral decrees, and ironically, it´s a doctrine liberal jurists have long decried. To challenge the government in federal court, it isn´t enough to simply believe that the government´s conduct is illegal or even unconstitutional. Federal courts can hear only specific disputes about the law as applied to particular people. To be heard in court, a person must have
