Incredulous Boehner goes viral
The Hill (Washington, D.C.), by Rebecca Shabad

Original Article

(Video) Speaker John Boehner´s (R-Ohio) outburst Thursday at outside conservative groups is going viral on the Internet. Boehner voiced incredulity Thursday that the same groups that pushed Republicans to shut down the government later said they knew the strategy wouldn´t succeed in defunding ObamaCare. “Are you kidding me?!” Boehner exclaimed at the GOP´s press conference at the Capitol. It’s the second day in a row Boehner has criticized the groups. People began tweeting that Boehner’s outburst would make a good Gif.

Those groups and talkers knew about the deal before it was released because they were tipped off over the weekend by Boehner´s aides at Boehner´s order.

There are others but Boehner, McConnell and Ms. Lindsey Grahamnesty are prime targets for removal in 2014.

Why can´t the Republicans find a Speaker who can challenge the President instead of letting the Party break out into a Civil War?

this guy is clueless and not worthy of any further patience from the conservatives. his dismissive demeanor is immature and not productive.
If he and the other Low T RINOs really want to take on the conservatives, then I suggest they lace ´em up and get their game face on. primaries a coming and time to politically neuter the Low T RINOs like the speaker, mister turkey neck from KY, and ms g from NC.

#6, the fact that the defunders knew it wouldn´t work made me mad, too. Boehner´s justifiably angry at the unnecessary damage. The only beneficiary was Senator Cruz´s fundraising. Even poor Lee didn´t benefit. His constituents are furious at him.

It´s just all a part of the "sales" game. If all R´s admitted this was a wonderful deal, the D´s would try for more. If we pretend it is a difficult choice that just squeaks by, we get what we want. I trust Paul Ryan´s ability to negotiate over Patty Murphy´s.

He had his people call media pundits and told them the essentials behind the bill, they spread the word so the conservatives knew before hand. They spoke out beforehand, so all of this eruption nonsense was staged beforehand. He knows the conservatives would not approve; just another Washington phony. When will Republicans ever learn to fight for what is right.

I vehemently disagree with you #8. The GOP refuse to go viral even when they are right. Let`s just stipulate that they are a bunch of cowards. The shutdown was caused by the refusal of Obama/Reid to act during a bad situation, which they created. Boehner/McConnell will not fight for what is right, but will hammer their own party to stay in power. That does nothing positive for our nation. Conservatives are not the problem, and neither are Ted Cruz or Mike Lee. At least they had the guts to do s-o-m-e-t-h-i-n-g. Also, I don`t believe Cruz`s constituents are furious at him.

Sometimes you have to fight even when you know you´re going to lose.
And yes. You lose. Then you suffer the consequences of that loss, but, people saw that you fought.
That eventually changes the scope of the conflict. Wish the establishment Pubs would give that concept a little thought.

The liberals Boehner, Ryan & Cantor are afraid the non media will scold them for being a little bit conservative. When the RNC calls I will say until Boehner, the non leader,is gone I refuse to support the republican party. Boehner is beyond belief all he does is scold conservatives until the veins in his head pop out, yet allows the dems a free ride. Boehner should use some of his raging energy on the dems for a change.

The partial shutdown occurred because zippy and Reid refused to negotiate. Cruz and Lee were right and now everyone knows it. They will know it even more in the coming months. Boehner needs to remember that it was true conservatives and the TEA party that won the House in 2010 and gave him the speakership. He is biting that hands of those who gave him power and he has betrayed that power.

A smart strategist doesn´t show his hand. He doesn´t tell anyone WHY he does what he does. He may have reasons that are unclear to the average Joe, but he knows exactly what he is doing. It takes subtlety and finesse to pull off a good strategic move. Bonehead is as subtle as a RINO in a china shop. And instead of fighting for the country and fighting against the commies who are destroying our country, he puts all his effort into fighting the conservatives who are defending the Constitution and trying to save what our country stands for. He is a fool and a drunk. He has no idea what the conservatives are doing and plays right into the hands of the Dems and the leftist media. Makes me sick. We need new leaders who know how to outsmart the left. I support Cruz and Lee and any of the others who will fight for America and our Constitution.

CLEARWATER — In the mid-1970s, Wayne Phillips saw a television program telling the story of the Shroud of Turin, a centuries-old linen cloth that bears the image of a crucified man. At first, he was miffed. Years of Catholic schooling — Jesuit High School in Tampa and Notre Dame University — and he had never known about this artifact? (He would later learn that it was a delicate subject at the Vatican.) A doctor, he has a curious mind. A mind shaped by logic and by science. WASHINGTON — IT’S weird to be jealous of your car. But I am. Men look at my car with such naked lust, their eyes devouring the curves and chrome, that I often feel as though I’m intruding on an intimate moment. Women like it, too. California’s unemployment rate is rotten and holding steady. In March, according to the Los Angeles Times, the rate was 8.1%. In February, it was exactly the same. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the state only added 11,800 net new jobs in March, many of them in construction, government, education, and health services. The greatest gains were in professional and business services, with 3,100 new positions. But the jobs numbers in hospitality, manufacturing, and leisure dipped, and the biggest drop came in financial activities, as the slowing rate of mortgages forced banks to fire employees. Democrats have a problem and everyone knows it. President Obama calls it a “congenital disease.” If they can’t control it, Obama could spend the final years of his presidency battling not only a Republican House but also a Republican Senate. Democrats don’t vote in midterm elections. That’s an exaggeration, of course, but the core of the Democratic coalition is made up of many people who turn out to vote only in presidential elections. The Republican coalition — older and whiter — suffers less from midterm falloff. So much has been made of the building blocks the president assembled to win his
