Hilarious: MSNBC host likens

MSNBC is the gift that keeps on giving, serving up propaganda intended to benefit the far left, but which in its absurdity repels people grounded in reality. Now, one of its hosts, Melissa Harris-Perry, already familiar to AT readers for her theater of the absurd political performance art, has played a race card so bizarre that it self-discredits. What should the act/law be called, when it´s very name is contradictory to its results. It does not protect patients and it is not affordable. Anyways the race hustlers are ignorant racists themselves. When all was bright an shiny, the President agreed that his name should be associated with the law. Not, not so much.

Congresswoman Sheila Jackson-Lee is at it again, this time claiming that the Constitution is 400 years old. (snip) I think that I have cracked the code when it comes to Sheila Jackson-Lee. While others have characterized her as the “dumbest person in Congress,” I am beginning to suspect that she has been putting us on for many years, carrying out a long term performance art project satirizing the pretensions of elite educational institutions (she has an undergraduate degree from Yale and a law degree from the University of Virginia), affirmative action, and the foibles

Ezekiel Emanuel – brother of Rahm, with whom he shares a charm deficiency – shared his behind-the-scenes stories in the recent Wall Street Journal essay “Inside the Making of Obamacare.” To my ear, Emanuel’s abrasiveness and arrogance in his radio and television appearances undermine his defense of ObamaCare, and this piece of writing likewise does little to improve my opinion of President Obama or his signature law. Emanuel is often called the “the architect of ObamaCare.” Although no one person put together the Rube Goldberg contraption of a law, Emanuel was certainly a key player. He describes his role in the

Recently I watched the documentary Breeders, which I recommend to everyone – gay and straight, liberal and conservative. The documentary, produced by Jennifer Lahl at the Center for Bioethics and Culture, exposes the ethical dangers posed by the practice known as “surrogacy.” Surrogacy is the use of a contract, by which a woman agrees to carry a gestating child in her womb for another party (usually an infertile heterosexual couple or a gay male couple), and also agrees to abandon the child to the couple who has engaged her services. Compensated surrogacy means that the carrier is paid to rent out her

California’s state legislature is seeking to repeal an idiotic law that took effect January 1st. It turns out that some feel-good regulatory efforts generate enough blowback that they can actually be reversed. Anyone working in a California restaurant or bar who prepares ready-to-eat food - from bagels to sushi to fruit salad to cocktails - has to wear gloves or use deli tissue, spatulas or tongs. The disappearance in the Gulf of Thailand of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 to Beijing, China after 2 hours 5 minutes of normal flight has all the trademarks of a terrorist attack against China by Al Qaeda. None are comforting: Some kind of equipment malfunction that completely preoccupied the crew and led to a sudden crash.
