IRS Goes After Obamacare Whistleblowers:
An Interview with C. Steven Tucker

American Thinker, by Arlen Williams

Original Article

Posted By:magnante, 12/9/2013 7:04:50 AM

By now, the news has spread online of the IRS audit notices sent to two Obamacare whistleblowers. On November 25th, cancer victim Bill Elliott and C. Steven Tucker were informed of the ordeal each was to face. Elliott has been waging a pitched battle with cancer. Tucker is the insurance agent and healthcare freedom activist who informed him that the canceling of his insurance, wrought by the Obama administration for the sake pushing citizens into Obamacare, was illegal. Tucker reached out immediately after Elliott appeared on Fox News´ The Kelly File, Nov. 7th, and Elliott´s insurance was hastily reinstated.

"None of the members of Barack Obama´s praetorian guard media, what I call the ´old media´ has bothered to contact me, but this story is now a national news story thanks to the real journalists who comprise the new media."

I like that term ´new media´ as opposed to the worthless ´old media´. We have too long referred to the old media as the mainstream or national news, as if they are the true ´freedom of the press´ keepers. They are no longer as valuable to us, so why give them the respect and honor of calling them mainstream?

I keep repeating myself but it is past time to change the tax code to either a flat or fair tax and get rid of the IRS. It is being used as a means to bludgeon and intimidate political opponents. If not at least take away the IRS right to carry guns, to seize assets, their tax court where you are guilty until you prove otherwise and they decide, make them more like Postal workers. The current tax code is a joke and needs to be scrapped. The real problem is both the Democrats and the elite GOP and Rinos like the current tax code and the IRS.

As a CPA myself I can say there are a few things about this article that make me skeptical. The first notice is for payroll taxes due from 2003. If he owes from that far back the only surprise is that IRS hasn´t knocked on his door sooner. The second notice is a civil penalty for not filing W-2 forms timely. This would not prevent the filing of other returns as he stated and it generally takes the IRS about this long to make this type of assessment. There may very well be a connection with the Elliott story with the timing but this guy clearly has some issues of his own the resolve and I suspect Kelly and the other media folks backed off for this reason.

The federal government has grown too large and too powerful.
We must push for the Fair Tax or a flat tax and completely do away with the IRS. EPA is also out of control. Runaway government thanks to Obama and Holder.

#5, you are inferring this is made from whole cloth? That and IRS agent DID NOT meet with this guy and his attorney and interrogate him over issues not related to his tax filing?

America´s school children have had enough and they´re not going to take it anymore. Faced with the meager, unappetizing school lunches required under First Lady Michelle Obama´s nutritional program, students have taken to social media to express their outrage and disgust at what they´re forced to eat for lunch. (snip) More than a million kids nationwide have opted out of the new program - a testament to how truly awful the food being served at our schools has become. Let’s get one thing straight: the savage mob attack on a white motorist in Detroit by a dozen or more black men on Wednesday was not a “vigilante style” attack. Yet that’s what Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and City Council President Brenda Jones are trying to call it in a joint statement meant to play down the unavoidable racial element. Says their statement: Earlier this week, a traffic accident that injured a young boy, David Harris, escalated into a vicious attack on the driver of the vehicle, Steve Utash, who had done the right thing by stopping to check on the boy.

So far, I have been able to find no protests from the ACLU or other groups that decry religious expression at venues that belong to governmental authorities. The poster is the work of Heather Ault, and is part of a campaign called “4000 years of choice.” Ms. Ault sounds like real charmer and came to her views through a bitter experience:

“Your father’s coming to see you,” Ann Dunham told her ten-year-old son Barack Obama, Jr. before a month-long Obama Sr. Christmas visit in 1971, as narrated in Dreams from My Father. Obama Sr.´s Hawaii visit, reportedly part of a "recuperation" after a "bad car accident" in Kenya, included "drives" around "the island," "short walks past" "the remodeled hospital where [Barack Jr.] had been born," and "a talk" to Barack Jr.´s fifth-grade class about "wild animals" that "roamed the plains" of Kenya. The latest Battleground Poll, compared with prior Battleground Polls, shows the percentage of Americans who describe themselves as “conservative” dropping. The percentage is lower than almost any Battleground Poll in the last fifteen years. The percentage of Americans who call themselves “liberal,” by contrast, is at an all-time high. Modification in the demographics of the poll sample may have something to do with the change. Women form 53% of the sample, while women are 50.6% of the population. Blacks are 13% of the Battleground sample, a smidgen more that the black percentage of the population. As I noted a few years

The April Fool’s Day show put on in the Rose Garden yesterday was no triumph, but rather an act of desperation, touting “enrollment” numbers generated without any transparency, intended to arrest the downward spiral of Obamacare and the Democratic Party’s electoral prospects. Democrats are facing a senior problem that could get even worse this year. The party has traditionally had trouble with older voters, losing the group aged 65 and over by 21 points in 2010 — when Republicans picked up 63 seats — and by 12 points in the 2012 presidential race. Seniors are the GOP’s most reliable voting bloc in midterm years, turning out in higher numbers than Democratic base voters. A recent Gallup poll showed seniors have become even more Republican over the last two decades; in 2013, 48 percent considered themselves Republican. That spells trouble for Democrats, who are already facing
