Obama Stars in The No-Name
Law That Sank His Party

American Thinker, by Clarice Feldman

Original Article

Posted By:SpeedMaster, 12/8/2013 5:27:02 AM

When the Pelosi-Reid-Obama troika triumphantly celebrated cramming through the ACA (Affordable Care Act) over majority sentiment, they crowed that this was the president´s signature achievement and ACA soon took on the name of its creator, ObamaCare. Though not one of them, nor any of the Democrats in the Senate who voted it into law uni-partisanly had read it, they all assured us that we´d grow to really, really like it. Boy, were they wrong.

Anytime I notice a reference to 0care as ACA I am reminded that the Acronym is PPACA and the law is/was not about patient protection but rather affordable care through lowering medical costs by ´allowing´ or ´nudging´ more patients to die. I fail to understand why someone like Clarice would not continuously remind the readers.

Democrats must laugh themselves silly when they name their bills. They seem to take a perverse pleasure in purposely naming them the exact opposite of what they really are. Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is ludicrously obverse.

When the focus is on optics and messaging you can be sure that the substance of the progressive philosophy of the democrat party is something that needs to be hidden behind a smiling carnival barker. Putting their core beliefs out there is political suicide for them. Therefore, they need a hip, cool, diverse con man to sell what if fully explained, no one would buy. Obama is the perfect pitchman and all is well until their folly must actually work. We know Obamacare is a blight on the American economy and personal health care. They know we know it and they know we know, they know it, but they don´t care because they believe Obama by the sheer strength of his personality, can grind this through. They can´t conceive of anyone or anything being able to derail this.

However, there is one last ray of hope on the horizon and that is "we the people". The political class in Washington DC has failed this country and its people. We must look to each other to send Washington a message they will never forget. The founders gave us two tools. One is the ballot box and the second is unthinkable. I pray that every voter will stand with us to elect committed conservatives with the will to bring down the curtain on this vile administration.

Why doesn´t the MSM report the fact that IBM offered to set up the web page for enrollment for free? They were turned down in order to give the Canadian company run by Michelle´s activist friend and classmate from Princeton the job. Not only is her friend the VP of the company but Valerie Jarrett´s daughter and son-in-law work there too. This fiasco will end up costing us a billion dollars. Whose pockets did that money go into? It never ceases to amaze me how much Communists love Capitalism when money is lining their pockets.

Propaganda: "If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”........Dr. Paul Joseph Goebbels, Reich Minister of Propaganda

Picking a nit: How does Clarice abbreviate Unaffordable Care Act into UFA? Shouldn´t it be UCA?

Clarice is correct in her observation that math is hard for Democrats. Sick people are going to sign up for this insurance because paying out of pocket will bankrupt them. By contrast, younger, healthier people have every incentive simply to pay cash for their infrequent medical needs. If an illness or accident strikes, the removal of restrictions on pre-existing conditions allows them to postpone signing up for insurance until they actually need it. If insurance is serving only those who are sick, what will happen to the premiums? Those of us who live in the real world know that they will skyrocket. Democrats, on the other hand, will be surprised and angry when they see health insurance become unaffordable for everybody who is not on Medicaid.

The IBM thing was news to me too. But I vividly remember in January of the Obammunist´s first term, just after inauguration, he invited a select group of CEO´s to the White House and IBM´s was among them. I believe that a list of those CEOs would show the worst of the crony capitalist, corporatist, and shall we say, fascist companies in this country. I am a great believer in the free market but Ayn Rand painted a strong picture of the type of companies that fall into bed with government instead of competing. Oren Boyle´s Associated Steel lives.

This is not about whether the policy works or is good for people. It is about controlling them. It is about the message.

Kaiser Foundation head honcho Drew Altman has nothing to do with the various Kaiser Permanente operating companies but he certainly keeps aprised of what they do since together they are America´s largest HMO (and they use that Kaiser name)

I hope he watched as Kaiser Permanente flushed itself down the toilet in Northern Virginia by breaking up with INOVA.

Now local Kaiser customers can´t use local hospitals, among them one of the best on the planet.

Kaiser just picked up a reputation for preferring second rate downstream medical service ~ and talk about a political problem ~ that´s where a large number of the headquarters employees of all the major federal government agencies life.

I´m sure those who remain with Kaiser will love their co-payment free rides to Baltimore or Fredericksburg for hospital care.

Let´s not forget John Boehner´s hand in letting obamacare continue for these last 3 years. The moment the SC stated obamacare was a tax Boehner had the fiduciary responsibility of his office to immediately file suit against this monster because with it being a TAX, OBAMACARE originated in the Senate and not the House whose responsibility is holding the purse strings.
Boehner has also refused to help ending this chaos in DC caused by obama and his minions by not calling for Select Committees on the many ´scandals´ or bringing to the floor the calling for a Congressional Investigation of obama. There is proof positive of FRAUD by obama in presenting the computer generated birth certificate. There is documentation of proof of the individual responsible for the forgery and the complicity of the Health Department in Hawaii. Much, much more.
Listen to the interview of the author of affidavits to the Washington State Fed Court--one sealed affidavit---naming names of the responsible individuals the other affidavit showing the 20 points of proof of fabrication.
Read Doug Hagmann´s 12-5 article at Canada Free Press and then listen to the interview. Long but SO important.

Clarice, as usual, pins the tail right on the donkey´s butt.

This communist exercise in healthcare perpetrated by the democrats and pitched by Obama will shortly come to a crashing collapse when they figure out that nobody is interested in paying for it and will willingly break the law to see it fail. Obama´s constant sales pitches to the young and dumb remind me of the worst kind of used car salesman. He will say and do anything to persuade you to buy the product when his only risk is in the failure of the car to make it off the lot. In the case of the ACA, the website was supposed to be the lot with the nasty surprises coming later. But not only did the ill-devised system fail, the car would not start after the sale was made. Now we have a silly Kenyan in a checkered suit looking like the clown that he is.

All is not lost. The next sane president will repeal the entire law and private industry will put our working system back together again. We Americans have learned something from this exercise. We know what a greedy bunch of sewer rats run our health insurance companies and we will be gunning for them first when healthcare comes up on the agenda again.

The ultimate party litmus test: given a veto-proof legislature, will Republicans finally start to reduce the scope and size of government? It looks like the answer is no. In 2013, North Carolina was just one of 25 states where Republican governors were given historic opportunity to govern alongside Republican-controlled legislatures. Despite conservative voters’ best hopes, any sensible mandate to restore individual and economic freedom flew out the window when the FY 2013-14 budget was approved, reauthorizing the formerly Democratic state’s blueprint budget with a tragic 2.0-percent increase in general fund appropriations.

Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

As President Obama spoke of old "wounds” at Fort Hood this week, the White House declined a request from a survivor of the 2009 massacre there to meet with Obama for a few minutes so the veteran could explain face-to-face how he believes the government has mistreated and disrespected the victims of that attack. Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford (ret.) was shot seven times in November 2009 when Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people. STAMFORD, Conn. — Jeb Bush defended his controversial comments about immigration reform, insisting they were nothing new for him and urging “sensitivity to the immigrant experience.” At a Connecticut Republican party dinner Thursday night, the former Republican governor of Florida did not repeat his remarks from last weekend at his father’s presidential library, when he said that people who come to the United States illegally in search of a better life for their children “broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love.” This time the potential 2016 candidate put it differently. “To be young and

Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and
