The venom between Barack
Obama and Charlie Rangel

New York Post, by Michael Gartland

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 12/8/2013 5:07:21 AM

They’re two of the most powerful African-American politicians in the land. And by most accounts, President Obama and Rep. Charles Rangel hate each other. The most recently revealed salvo in their war of words — Obama’s assertion that Rangel is a “hack,” according to the political tome “Double Down” — is just one element of a long-dysfunctional relationship. Rangel supported Hillary Clinton in the 2008 Democratic primary, but the seeds of mutual disdain were planted before that, according to Democratic insiders and staffers for both pols.

I wish McCain, Grahamnesty, Susan Collins and others would do this.

And all this time thought Rev.Jackson the one to lead opposition in cutting off obomba jewels...he was overheard stating he wanted to do so. Why the feud with Rangel when the Other Black Agitator wishes to do physical harm? Community organizers and agitators certainly not comprised of ´stand up´ men.

Rangel is a crook but he´s not a dumb crook. Note that most senior black Democrats n Congress don´t have prestigious committee assignments. Rangel was given Ways and Means, which means his peers see him as highly competent.

A President who is interested in concrete legislative accomplishments meets with the senior Democrat on the House Ways and Means Committee more often that he meets with rabble rousers like Al Sharpton.

Executive privilege fight

A dispute over executive privilege appears to be looming in connection with fired Agriculture Department employee Shirley Sherrod´s lawsuit against late conservative journalist Andrew Breitbart. In a letter filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in Washington, a lawyer involved in the case said the Justice Department had advised that it will assert executive privilege to block disclosure of information subpoenaed in the case from USDA and the White House. "[T]he Government confirmed this week that it intends to assert ´executive privilege´ and ´deliberative process privilege´ objections as purported grounds for withholding at least some documents and information from both the

How come no one’s worried about bringing Dinesh D’Souza “out of the shadows”? After all, the poor fellow didn’t do anything wrong — not really. He just wanted to participate fully in our national life, in our democratic process. He didn’t want to hide — he was forced to take cover by our draconian, inhumane campaign-finance laws. Mr. D’Souza’s real crime, the only offense that really matters in Washington these days, is being an Obama critic. Oh, they say he borrowed a couple of people’s names, but his real mistake was doing it in the Wendy Long Senate campaign. For Obama

The latest verdict from an Italian Appeals court finding Amanda Knox and her then boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito guilty of murdering her roommate Meredith Kercher may come as a stunning outrage to many Americans. But once you dig a little deeper, maybe, just maybe, some of the reasoning becomes a little less outlandish. In the annals of high-profile injustices, the 26-year-old Knox is now often cited alongside the most indefensible miscarriages of justices this nation has addressed in recent years, such as the Memphis 3, convicted on nothing more than inaccurate assumptions and a coerced confession; the "Scottsboro Boys," where the Alabama

He went to war in Libya without consulting Congress because he thought, basically correctly, that there’d be no public backlash to an operation that involved no American boots on the ground. Christie knew! Christie lied! Those are the allegations from the former Port Authority official who set in motion the September lane closings on the George Washington Bridge that New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has insisted he knew nothing about. The charges are plainly stated in a letter to the general counsel of the Port Authority from the lawyer for former Port Authority official David Wildstein. The mystery is why Wildstein and attorney, Alan Zegas, are saying it now. Wildstein clearly is not driven by guilt over having inflicted chaos on so many people over a four-day period that began with the first day of school
