Nobody’s This Stupid and Incompetent
PJ Media, by Tom Blumer

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 12/8/2013 4:44:12 AM

How do you get your arms around the catastrophe known as Obamacare? Is it even possible? At this point, I’m not sure it is. The list of individual disasters which threaten to ruin one-sixth of the U.S. economy and what has been, up until now, the best healthcare system in the world is exhaustive, and exhausting. The examples I will identify here barely scratch the surface. First but by no means foremost, we have the supposedly new and improved HealthCare.gov. Except it’s not, even the visible part. Stories still abound of people still failing to get in or to get through the enrollment

This is a wonderful article and should definitely be a must read. But I disagree with the concluding paragraph, which says that incompetence can’t explain ObamaCare’s failures.

I believe that the incompetence of the Obama administration is breathtaking -- that they thought that the job of management does not exist, that complex systems create themselves and plans, schedules, timelines, deadlines, progress reports, and supervision are just words created by the drones who feed off the productive efforts of the workers.

Obama and his crew are learning a lesson, and they will have to live with the consequences of their failure. Unfortunately, so will our nation.

#2 - The Obamboozler and his crew do not learn lessons,
and to quote a famous Marxist: Period!
They hand out "payback". It is intentional. Chaos is the Obamboozler´s stock-in-trade and the hallmark of his administration. You cannot chalk all the "mistakes" after "mistakes" after "mistakes" up to just incompetence. After a while all those "mistakes" take on a very defineable pattern. Remember: Never let a crisis go to waste, and if you don´t have a crisis, make one.
If I wanted America to fail, I wouldn´t change a thing!

The article does not go far enough.

The utter stupidity and incompetence surrounding liberals is rampant within the democratic party. The DC journalists are dumber than dirt, so they do not possess the competence to properly report the stupidity and incompetence.

The Utopian fantasies of most liberals provide proof they are stupid and incompetent. It is not just the obama administration.

I believe it is a combination of intent and stupidity. The chaos was planed, but it wasn´t supposed to be like this. It spun out of control because, contrary to their self-applied label, they are not the best and the brightest. They are a bunch of mediocrities messing with things they really know nothing about, with predictable results.

I see someone has swallowed the liberal propaganda about health care being better in countries with socialized medicine.

The numbers often aren´t comparable. For example a key stat that is often used- infant mortality- utterly fails to take into account the aggressive treatment in the US which treats every situation in which there is a fetal heartbeat as a live birth even when it is impossible for the baby to survive because it is way too premature.

Better healthcare in other countries is a subterfuge. First the vast majority of techniques, medicines, machines come from right here in the US.

The life expectancy in the US is less than 4 years off at 79 years from the highest, Japan at 83 years. But the US male LE is 76 compared to Japan male LE at 77.

Also, many of these stats include abortions in the US. There is no country that even comes close to the quality of life of our aging citizens. Also, what is never discussed is that Japan has a very high incidence of very young men dying because of the tremendous stress their lifestyles press down on them. That overall LE is elevated due to the huge populations living in rural areas who merely subsist and accept their plight. Here, we all strive to better ourselves which elevates the stress.

Compare city to city and the contrast in quality of life is exposed.

People from countries where socialized medicine is the system, still flood to the US not Cuba or Britain or Germany for sophisticated healthcare. Hmmmmmm!

It is inconceivable to most Americans that our own president would seek to destroy our country. The sooner we open our eyes and accept the truth before us, the sooner we can begin to remedy the situation before it is too late. Obama and his co-conspirators are following their plan to throw this country into economic ruin and chaos. The Obamacare debacle is intentional and cannot be attributed to stupidity. The more unrest and dissatisfaction with the government they stir up, the closer they are to employing their armed-to-the-teeth civilian defense force against the people. We need to stop making excuses and start sounding the alarm more loudly and more desperately than ever before.

#11 ~ doing a simple division of the population between "white" and "black" (leaving all the others out of here for a moment, it´s simple to demonstrate that America´s "white" population has outcomes as good as or better than those of the "white population" in Europe, Canada or Australia/New Zeland.

It´s also VERY easy to demonstrate that America´s "black" population has outcomes that are INCREDIBLY SUPERIOR to those of identifiable "black populations" anywhere else on Earth!

Now, "the others", given the same diet Japanese die off just as fast in Japan or anywhere else. The longest lived people on the planet are actually from El Salvador, but they live in the United States. The DNA studies have shown that population to be pretty much the same as the Japanese population (tsunamies, man ride the tsunamies)

The propaganda in the story isn´t a criticism of American medicine, it´s the implicit argument that outside of life threatening situations medicine has any impact on general trends in population mortality rates.

They ~ meaning people like Ezekial Emanuel and his crowd of crazoids ~ want you to think that PREVENTATIVE CARE EXISTS AND WORKS.

As has been pointed out to you and others many times over the shorter aggregate lifespan of black people is due to a higher death rate in youth. That´s because.......................

Well, it´s not ´cause white people are killing them. Not even because of bullets, or other accidents. It´s diet and smoking and alcohol and drug use.

Some of the insurance companies are going to come out as winners in this by maintaining obamacare for the government. The lefty elite worldwide have likely invested in those companies and ruin America at the same time. There are probably some other ´winners´ too. The pharmaceuticals? I´ll give it a try, #6, only because I know how to hide from the drones:

Egotism, arrogance, stupidity, greed, condescending attitude, hatred for whitey based on jealousy and territoriality, sense of entitlement, immorality, need for attention (flashy embellishments, huge vehicles), fixation on useless activities and sports, laziness, denial of responsibility, prone to theft and violence, racist.

These traits don´t apply to all of course, I work and socialize with some very fine black people, but prison statistics, welfare statistics, child support statistics and employment statistics don´t lie (too much).

Sorry, Tom Blumer, but I think they really are this stupid and incompetent. When confronted with a problem, all they can do is spin, speechify and take revenge on their enemies.

They don´t anticipate problems and they don´t know how to fix problems once they have become apparent. That´s not to say they aren´t dangerous adversaries, but smart and competent? Um, no.

The problems with the website is the least of the problems--that can be fixed and will. The problem is that people are not going to train to be doctors when they can make more training to be plumbers. Govt will not pay the bills to Obamacare just like they don´t pay bills to Medicare. My primary care and dentist have already gotten out of the business within the last 6 months--they have had enough, can make money elsewhere without the headaches. The other problem is the cost--the working class cannot afford to support all of those who will not pay in.

With all due respect: It´s never been about "health care" ( or even "health coverage."). It has ALWAYS been about control. Period.

And they are not stupid and/or incompetent, because those adjectives describe someone(s) who couldn´t get it right. The only thing they may be incompetent about is the utter destruction of the website. If they were not so greedy to get their grubby paws on all of our information so quickly and had spent a skosh more time, they could have had a completely good website without all of the problems and people would be signing in, signing on, and readily giving all of the information the communists want in one quick and easy database.

But incompetent and stupid? I don´t think so.

Western European healthcare superior???

While living in Brussels I had a bicycle accident and had to go to the ER to get stitched up. The hospital was dingy and archaic. The doctor who sewed me up told me to come back and have the stitches removed in TWO DAYS. Two days? Any injury requiring stitches is not going to heal that fast and I knew it. I waited 10 days and then asked a friend who was a nurse to take them out.

A few months later I needed to have some minor surgery and I flew back to the US to get it done. Now way was I going to have it done in the wonderful Western European health care system.

People like Obama are notorious for forcing their ideology on others without knowing the consequences. Because they only know how to delegate (let others do the detail work) they have no clue if what they want done, can be. The devil is in the details but they know nothing about details because they have never actually done anything themselves. That gives them the necessary excuse to blame others when what they want done can´t be.
Their goals are idealistic not based on truth or facts. They truly are incompetent but are able to hide behind the failures of others. Obama and those like him are evil failures!

It is clever of O-Bomber to use incompetence as an excuse or explanation
for his destruction of America, its economy and its people.

This can and does work to advantage in the real world...

For example, from a true story...
Someone arrives, shoots and kills another person...
Then, if apprehended, says...
"I didn´t mean to kill him. I was trying to kill someone else. I shot the wrong guy. Call it mistaken identity."

And the result?
Instead of Murder One (first degree)...
It´s involuntary manslaughter...
or at worst voluntary manslaughter...
Five years sentence at worst.
(After all... it was unintentional...)

See?
Incompetence is a real killer.
It´s worked for others.
Now it´s working for POS POTUS.

I think many Americans by now see that the "incompetence" is by design. My concern beyond the coming tragedy is where are the safeguards provided by the Constitution? The Supreme Court and Congress are the checks and balances to the overreach of the Executive Branch. They have obviously abdicated their role. One can only assume that by their silence and inaction that they either agree with the overreach or that they are fearful for their careers or the security of them and their families.

If the regime has used scare tactics or even a form of blackmail, one would think someone would step forth. Whoever steps forth will be hailed as a hero when this battle is over. Where is our Nathan Hale? All I see is nothing but a bunch of Benedict Arnolds.

There comes a time when nothing more can be written about Obama which is news worthy.

We have reached that time. The best or the worst that can be said is

"Obama is a Pathological Liar,

He is a danger to himself and the American People,

For his good and the good of the nation, he needs to be placed under psychiatric care;

and he must be persuaded to resign."

These observations are neither racist, political motivated, or full of malfeasant, he is just a very sick man who needs the help of both parties to get treatment.

Socialism is a religion supported by myths. An intelligent person deals in reality and not myth. For socialists to support their beliefs they ultimately indulge in abhorrent activities like the gulag, concentration camps and death squads. These are not the actions of intelligent people but of ruthless, depraved and detached-from-reality cyphers.

They sell a social myth based upon Charles Dickens imagery and an economic myth portraying business people as top-hatted plutocrats. This childishness needs to be countered by responsible adults.

The "best and brightest" is a laugh. Obama speeches have been shallow, trite and pretentious. They are sophomoric at best. There is no intelligence amongst the politicos and bureaucrats in corrupt Washington.

Chaos leads to destruction. Creating chaos to engender fear is not a winning strategy. The socialists have a low opinion of the intelligence of man and a mythical opinion of themselves. The chaos they create will bring their own destruction and the DNC media cannot stop it.

What I learned from the article is tha Illegal Aliens collect 4,500,000,000 in child care credits and the IRS allows that. This is how our commie compatriots win elections.

That´s why they always going on about racism, gay rights, etc... to distract us with shiny objects so that we won´t look at their criminality, corruption, fraud, cronyism, etc.
I work for local government, and management are all Dim hacks. They´ve busted the budget through their incompetence, yet manage to find enough to give themselves raises, while using every dirty trick in the book to keep our pay low. The public was starting to wake up to their criminality, so Gay Marriage suddenly became the big issue of the day. The Dim party is just a big criminal enterprise. They create crisis, so that they can then "solve" it.

AUSTIN — A Texas judge was expected to seat a grand jury Monday in an investigation into whether Gov. Rick Perry abused his power by vetoing funding for public corruption prosecutors last year. Special State District Judge Bert Richardson was to oversee the impaneling in Austin. The governor’s office didn’t return messages seeking comment, but The Austin-American Statesman and KVUE-TV reported that Perry took the unusual step of hiring a criminal defense attorney to represent him. The attorney, David Botsford, did not return calls from The Associated Press seeking comment. In June, the governor threatened to veto funding approved by the Texas Legislature

It has awarded a prize that deserves to be spoken of in the same conversation with its risible 1932 award to the New York Times correspondent Walter Duranty for articles whitewashing the evils of Stalinist Russia. The award of the Public Service prize to the Washington Post and the Guardian for serving as a mouthpiece for Edward Snowden is an attempt by the journalistic establishment to put its stamp of approval on the actions of one of the most destructive traitors in U.S. history—a former NSA contractor who has done

A Texas man was sentenced yesterday to 18 months in state prison for urinating on the Alamo. Daniel Athens, a 23-year-old El Paso resident, pleaded guilty earlier this year to a criminal mischief charge in connection with the April 2012 incident at the Texas shrine. While Athens could have faced a maximum of two years in custody, a plea deal saved him up to six months in custody. Athens was also ordered to pay $4000 in restitution by District Judge Ray Olivarri. Since Athens is not eligible for parole, he will have to serve the entirety of his 18-month sentence. As detailed

Republicans, let´s get it over with. Fast forward to the finish line. Avoid the long and winding primary road. It can only weaken the nominee. And we know who he—yes, he—has to be. Not Jeb Bush, who plainly is unsuited to be president. He is insufficiently hostile to Mexicans. He holds heretical views on the Common Core, which, as we well know, is the defining issue of our time. And he´s a Bush. Another installment of a political dynasty just isn´t going to fly with the American people, who want some fresh blood in their politics. Unless the dynasty is

When I first started hearing people on the political left describe themselves with some frequency as progressive back in the 1990s, the term did not seem tethered to the epoch-defining, early-20th-century spasm of moral crusading and government centralization that helped give us everything from trust busting to Prohibition to the Federal Reserve. As articulated by champions like Ralph Nader and Molly Ivins, the progressive label was both a way to get out from under the generation-old baggage of liberal-a term Ronald Reagan and others had turned into an epithet-and to differentiate lefties from seemingly apologetic triangulators like Bill Clinton and

For political junkies desperate for clues to the hottest House, Senate and governors’ races around the country, April is the cruelest month. While Illinois and Texas primaries were held last month, the 48 remaining state contests don’t start up again for three weeks. Here’s the good news for those of us hoping to determine whether Democrats or Republicans will be celebrating in the fall: From early May to early September, we’ll have a steady stream of conventions, primaries and runoffs to keep us busy. We’ve already learned a little from the first two contests. On March 4, Texas told us two contradictory

Neurosurgeon Ben Carson says the White House wanted him to apologize for “offending” President Obama after he famously delivered a conservative message at the National Prayer Breakfast last year. Carson, the former director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, recalls the events surrounding his 2013 speech in his new book, One Nation: What We Can All Do To Save America’s Future. The Daily Caller obtained an advance copy of the book, which is set for release May 20. “He did not appear to be hostile or angry,” Carson writes of Obama, “but within a matter of minutes after the conclusion of

Over 80 members of the Brandeis University faculty sent a letter to the school’s president earlier this month, demanding the school withdraw its honorary degree invitation to women’s rights activist and critic of Islam Ayaan Hirsi Ali. Brandeis rescinded the invitation to Hirsi Ali last week, prompting a public backlash from Hirsi Ali’s supporters. In the April 6 letter, faculty members called on Brandeis President Fred Lawrence to drop Hirsi Ali from the ceremony because of comments she has made about her opposition to Islam. “We are writing to urge you to rescind immediately the invitation to Ms. Ayaan Hirsi

He may not have been able to attend the Sochi Olympics, but Vice President Joe Biden is set to return to the world sporting event stage this summer by hanging out at the World Cup, the White House announced today. Biden is very excited. "You know, we have our Super Bowl, we have our World Series, we have the NBA Finals, we have March Madness, but my Lord, it is nothing quite like the World Cup," he said today as he and Secretary of State John Kerry unveiled the World Cup trophy. Kerry, meanwhile, stuck with boring comments like "I can´t think

Bad as Obama’s poll numbers are, they bode worse for Congressional Democrats. Obama is being buoyed by continued strong support from Democrat voters. The problem for Congressional Democrats is that November’s election outcome will not be determined in Democrat strongholds. Recent Quinnipiac polling data (released April 2, of 1,578 registered voters nationwide, with a MOE of +/-2.5%) showed the president with a deeply negative rating on his handling of the economy: 40% approval and 55% disapproval. In his sixth year in office, and the fifth year after the recession, 74% of respondents still rated the economy as “not so good” to

During her brief but lucrative stint as president of Wal-Mart’s charitable foundation in 2012, Sylvia Matthews Burwell received at least $750,000 in bonuses from an organization that doles out hundreds of millions of dollars in contributions but keeps a tight lid on its own compensation practices, records show. Ms. Burwell spent a little more than a year running Wal-Mart’s foundation before President Obama tapped her to be his budget chief last year — and then last week asked her to take over as health and human services secretary. Her White House biography touts her key private-sector experience as president of the massive

The Supreme Court has made pretty clear that putting your money where your mouth is deserves broad protection as a form of free political speech. The justices are about to consider whether outright lying in a campaign deserves a similar First Amendment shield. The court’s recent decisions easing the flow of generous campaign contributions already shifted the electoral landscape. If the court finds that even the most patently outrageous statements about candidates may not be barred by law, those two decisions combined could expand the rhetorical battlefield of the midterm elections and raise the attack ad volume as never before. President Obama inspired a generation of young people to support his historic election in 2008. And in 2012, despite the struggles of his first term, Mr. Obama still managed to win the support of a full 60% of voters age 18-29. But the man who once dreamed of being a transformative leader in the Reagan mold is inspiring few of those young people to follow his lead. "For all the talk about the movement that elected Mr. Obama, the more notable movement of Obama supporters has been away from politics. It appears that few of the young people who voted

On Saturday, I wrote about the standoff at Bundy Ranch. That post drew a remarkable amount of traffic, even though, as I wrote then, I had not quite decided what to make of the story. Since then, I have continued to study the facts and have drawn some conclusions. Here they are. First, it must be admitted that legally, Bundy doesn’t have a leg to stand on. The Bureau of Land Management has been charging him grazing fees since the early 1990s, which he has refused to pay. Further, BLM has issued orders limiting the area on which Bundy’s cows can

Chelsea Clinton says when people ask her these days whether she wants to go into politics, her answer isn’t an automatic “no.” The 34-year-old former first daughter told Fast Company in an interview published Monday, “for so long the answer was just a visceral no. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Megyn Kelly’s "Kelly File" is a great news show. She’s incisive, informed and customarily handles the toughest guest with aplomb. But her lengthy interview of Facebook C.O.O. Sheryl Sandberg about her second book in the Lean In series Lean In: For Graduates was a head shaker. Amazing that she of all people allowed Sandberg to restring the same old, same old, shamed, and shopworn feminist myths about women and girls and then jangle it in front of her viewing audience like something new out of the box. Indeed Kelly all but genuflected in front of this woman. Kept her on thru

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K

When President Obama needed a preacher to fulfill the closing prayer duties at the annual White House Easter Prayer Breakfast, he turned to none other than the Episcopal Church’s first openly gay bishop — who said he was as shocked as anyone at the appointment. A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. The fighter appeared to be unarmed and never was in danger of
