Massive Harvard Grade Inflation Revealed
Breitbart Big Government, by William Bigelow

Original Article

You can always tell a Harvard man; he’s the one with a series of scarlet A’s on his report card. This week, Harvard’s Dean of Undergraduate Education Jay M. Harris admitted to the university newspaper, the Harvard Crimson, that the most common grade for Harvard students is an A. What’s the median grade? Would you believe A-minus? The reason Harvard is coming clean about its grade inflation is that they were prodded by professor Harvey C. Mansfield, who said in the Crimson that the inflated grades at the university are “indefensible … a failure on the part of this faculty

My daughter was friends with a fellow who transferred from Harvard to Hillsdale. He was shocked when he received a 42 on his first quiz.

No shock there. I have a niece who graduated with near perfect grades from Harvard and a bigger airhead you cannot imagine. The value in a Harvard education seems to be in the cachet and the networking in the job market.

As "selective" institutions of higher learning, getting into Harvard or Yale or Stanford is a lot harder than graduating. Unless you´re a "legacy" candidate or a Kennedy. Several people that graduated behind me in HS in the 60s went to these so-called prestigious universities based more on their extracurricular activities than their academic horsepower. Once you are in you are pretty much assured of graduating unless you´re a total screwup.

This has been going on for quite awhile at Harvard. The media just doesn´t follow up on the story. A big scandal exists at the Law School where plagiarism is rampant. A degree from Harvard just doesn´t inspire confidence.

My son is taking a leave of absence from college because he can´t see us spending the money for a school that teaches him nothing.

At Harvard, if you attend class you get an A and if you pass you graduate Suma Cum Laude. I worked with a few who had masters and PHD from Harvard. They couldn´t think for themselves. They didn´t have any common sense and every time we had a meeting and they talked, they all used the same words out of a school paper. It was pathetic.

Harvard: Practically impossible to get in; absolutely impossible to fail out.

This isn´t new, and it´s not unique to Harvard. When I was in college, it was always a hoot to have a student from Johns Hopkins in a class. (All the colleges in the area at the time had an agreement that any extra spaces in classes could be taken by students from the other schools at no extra cost.) They were always shocked they had to do work to pass the class. We were advised to try and take electives at Hopkins for easy As.

Undergraduates paid for the graduate programs, and that´s all they cared about.

They bore posters and leaflets and set up their display on the campus’s “free speech zone.” Professor Mireille Miller-Young was offended, no, “triggered,” by the photo of an aborted baby on Thrin Short’s poster. There is an entire community out there who film themselves masturbating in libraries (usually while watching porn on publicly funded WiFi) and then upload these videos to porn sites. People are making porn in public libraries. Don’t take my word for it; go to any porn site and type in “library” in the search function (preferably on your own WiFi at home where there are no children present). The whole point of Obamacare, supposedly, was to insure the uninsured and bend the cost curve down. Those who had insurance were supposed to be able to keep it.
