Albanian mom to three American children

An illegal immigrant from Albania with three American-born children who was to be deported Tuesday has been granted a reprieve, gaining at least one more year in America. [Snip] Precetaj received a call from authorities Friday afternoon telling her to report to the immigration office in Detroit for the removal of her tether. While there, she was given a letter which informed her that her stay of removal request had been granted for one year. ´Now I can [chaperone] my son’s field trip to Ohio,´ Precetaj told the Detroit Free Press. The Free Press notes that when Precetaj´s one year

Mrs. Precetaj was illegal only for the very short period between being given a deportation order and its rescission. When she arrived in the US 13 years ago, she applied immediately for asylum and was granted permission to stay while her application was in the system. She is now back at that same status and is thus no longer an illegal.

Our legislature is talking seriously about granting amnesty to 11 million illegal Mexicans yet they want to kick this woman out who has done everything legally so far as I can tell. Instead of throwing out the Albania Mom, let´s focus on the legislature. THROW THEM ALL OUT!

Now I don´t want to come across as a hardass but just because she might have to be deported doesn´t mean she has to be separated from her children and husband. They can always go with her, you know.

When someone moves from Kansas to Florida, I think the family usually goes along. Why is this different?

You come into this country from wherever under whatever circumstances, you are taking your chances. Why would someone under such a cloud decide to have children, anyway?

I am suspicious of this story.

I guess it doesn´t matter as far as illegals are concerned. Boehner is gonna screw us. I´d hate to have him be the guy who´s got my back.

This woman is married to an immigrant who has lived in the US for 40 years. If he is legal himself he had a path to file a petition to get this woman a green card since the day they were married. Most immigrants in the US for 40 years would have become a US citizen many years ago. If he had done that, he could have immigrated her as his spouse almost immediately since they had children together. You have to wonder about the advise these people have been receiving from their attorney, and that immigration lawyers who put this unusual and very compelling case into the media realm did that to put it forth as an example to gain sympathy from the unknowing for a massive amnesty.

Of course she got a reprieve, what with uncle Obama and Aunt Tu Tu getting to drive drunk and ignore deportation orders this would be the worst time to mess with dumping people on foreign shores while ordering ICE agents have orders to ignore illegal hispanics from deportation.

I never knew Obama was a painter but he spends more time in the corner waiting for paint to dry, he can´t do his job! That is the reason he can´t do his job, isn´t it?

Just doing a quick review of Albanian news in 1999 to see why this woman might have needed to find asylum thousands of miles away.

There are two possibilities, one of which would be involvement in a billion dollar swindle that eventually led to the fall of the government

The other is the fall of the government and the election of an even worse government. Principals there might well have needed to go far away!

Otherwise it´s just Albania, far from the worst spot on Earth, and rich in resources such as goats, goatsmilk, goatsmilk cheese, and the like. Neighboring Kosovo, where many Albanians lived, is next door and they are literally the main supplier for goats throughout the Middle East.

The trick is Albania has water and they have sand. Therefore the goats gotta´ live in Albania. Smart critters Fur Shur.

Most of the Kosovarians were, in fact, Albanians anyway, so she could simply have been an early refugee ~ smarter than the others ~

Muslims don´t put up Xmas trees.
Albania and Kosovo in particular were/are major transshipment points for young girls--and a light skinned blond would be particularly vulnerable.
Kosovo-another Clinton foreign policy Failure.
Choosing Albanian Muslims over Christian Serbs and setting up " independent"/s Kosovo -not yet recognized by china and Russia gives credibility to her asylum claim - especially if she is a Christian.

I wonder why the husband, here for 40 years, isn´t mentioned as a citizen, though her mother-in-law is.

But Uncle Onyango Obama had a deportation order for about 20 years or more. Why the rush to deport this woman, whose children are all American citizens?

This ancient and priceless teddy bear could be the beloved childhood toy of Egyptian pharaoh Tutankhamun. Archaeologists unearthed a 3,000-year-old mummified teddy bear, believed to be the oldest in existence, at a tomb in Egypt. And it has led experts to believe the Ancient Egyptians not only cuddled up with the toys at night, but once worshipped their furry playthings. The landmark discovery marks the first time an Egyptian teddy bear has been discovered in perfect condition. The ancient toy was excavated in a funerary deposit in the Valley of the T’eds, near Luxor in Egypt.

If all the recent scare stories about sugar in food drove you to drink, it turns out that it wasn’t necessarily the best place to go. Research conducted for The Sunday Telegraph reveals that a single pint of cider contains as much sugar as the World Health Organisation recommends should be an individual’s daily limit. Scrumpy, it seems, is best avoided if you are on a diet. Worryingly high quantities of the sweet stuff were also found in Baileys Irish Cream and sherry, although, admittedly, those are drinks that tend to be limited to a single glass: rarely does anyone
