Joel Pollak: Mainstream Media
Don´t Understand Mandela
Embraced Constraints on Power

Breitbart´s Big Peace, by Tony Lee

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 12/6/2013 11:37:13 AM

Pollak said that because of Mandela´s embrace of reconciliation, a South Africa many thought was going to "erupt into a racial civil war" transitioned from apartheid peacefully. He also said that Mandela later rejected the violent aspects of the African National Congress and the more socialist aspects of his past and ended up obeying the constitution. Pollak said Mandela even "subjected himself to the will of the courts" while he was in power to set an example that he was not above the constitution. And like George Washington, Mandela, Pollak noted, accepted the constraints put on him and stepped down

This is an extremely informative article and interview. The interview by Mark Levin of Joel Pollak (who was born in South Africa and lived there) is one of the most informative I have seen. I was not aware of the interesting background of Mr. Pollak.

That is why, even though he was a terrorist, Mandela is and was a far better man than Obama ever will be. Do you think Obama will conveniently ignore the fact that Mandela obeyed the will of the SA constitution?

If Obama wants to be regarded as some kind of American Mandela, maybe he should start obeying OUR Constitution for a change.

Even Fox News is going crazy over Mandela. Jenna Lee has been gushing for what feels like hours.

The O´s are going to South Africa to get some more photo ops. They´ll have to hurry as they must get back in time to vacation in Hawaii over the holidays.

Mandela was in fact a communist. So is the African National Congress (ANC). But Mandela and the old white leaders of South Africa (F.W. De Klerk, etc.), working in cooperation, managed to prevent what might have been a widespread bloody civil war after the the power structure switched over. Mandela and his immediate white predecessors deserve credit for that.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is poised to sign a bill that will give illegal immigrants the ability to pay the same lower college tuition rates as state residents. That would make New Jersey the 18th state in the nation to give illegal immigrants the lower tuition benefit, Newsmax reported. The bill that’s headed to Mr. Christie has been altered a bit from the version that was debated by state politicos over the past few weeks. The New York Times reported that a provision that was approved by the legislature to make financial aid available to illegal immigrants was removed. That removal

Obama took an average of 21.5 vacations days per year in his first four years as president. By comparison, private-industry workers in the United States who have at least 20 years on the job get an average of 19 days of paid vacation per year.

So, leftist religious broadcaster MSNBC is taking A&E’s side in the Duck war. That’s their right, although, like the network’s unyielding support for Barack Obama, it’s a minority position. But when the Nation’s Richard Kim suggested today that if Phil Robertson and Bobby Jindal tried anal sex, they might like it, and host Chris Hayes giggled and said he wished Kim had gotten to do the GQ interview so he could ask them that question, well, honestly I don’t even know what to say. A federal court on Friday granted almost 200 evangelical ministries relief from the Affordable Care Act’s so-called birth control mandate. The ruling by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma is the latest in a series of legal blows to the healthcare law’s requirement that workers be offered contraception as part of their employers´ insurance coverage. Under the ruling, 187 non-exempt religious groups that offer insurance through GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention are now protected from the mandate while their case proceeds. “This is an overwhelming victory for GuideStone and the nearly 200 plaintiffs in this class-action

By extrapolating quotes and just plain old lying, the elite media are using a GQ interview with "Duck Dynasty" patriarch Phil Robertson as an excuse to go on an anti-Christian rampage that they hope will further their longstanding goal of toxifying Biblical beliefs as bigoted and anti-gay. If you read the full GQ interview, though, it is glaringly obvious that Robertson is anti-sin, not anti-gay, and that he believes we should all love one another. To begin with, the Duck Commander did not single out homosexual behavior; he listed over a half-dozen sins, including adultery, greed, bestiality, drunkenness, idolatry, etc.

At the end of that question, however, the tone of the press conference shifted from adversarial to adorable when Obama was asked about something more “personal.” “If I may just, quickly, on a more personal note, what is your New Year’s resolution,” Keiler asked amid polite laughs from the White House press corps. “My New Year’s resolution is to be nicer to the White House

O ne year removed from re-election, President Obama´s approval rating has sunk to the lowest level of his presidency. Furthermore, Obama´s popularity among the Democratic Party base — whose rejuvenated support proved crucial last November — took a huge hit this past year. Only 54 percent of self-described liberals "very strongly" approve of Obama´s job performance, according to a Pew survey released this week. That´s down from an all-time high of nearly 90 percent, and a significant decline from the 73 percent who strongly approved of the president back in June. Why the steep drop? The A&E Network’s suspension of Phil Robertson, star of the most popular reality show in the history of television, for espousing views on homosexuality identical to those found in the New Testament may not be the first PC lynching in the history of our country, but it is certainly now the most prominent. It is also a singular example of how political correctness, via cultural relativism, is used to undermine democracy and freedom of speech and is, at its core, fascistic.
