Priebus knocks Obama uncle

Republican Party Chairman Reince Priebus said Thursday that little lies like the White House saying Obama had never met his uncle show President Obama is untrustworthy. “The American people are seeing Barack Obama for what he is. He says one thing and does another. He’s been lying to the American people,” Priebus, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, said in interview on Fox News’s “Hannity” show Thursday night. “These little lies, like, you know, lying about whether you met someone or not that´s been significant in your life— listen, those are big things because it goes to the character

#2 Don´t you really think that, rather than a spine injection, Priebus realizes even the homeless guy who never reads a newspaper knows that Obama lies. It´s now safe to say such a thing because everyone else has already acknowledged it. Always better to be "safe than sorry" with the Republican Establishment.

Obama´s entire LIFE is a lie. Most heavy users of mind-altering drugs - like Obama - tell one lie after another. Obama lies from the time he gets up in the morning until he goes to bed at night. On the rare occasions when a half-truth passes his lips, it´s in the service of another lie he´s about to tell. Priebus is right to hammer away on this subject. In fact, it´s all that the Pubbies should be talking about.

The statement issued by the White House in 2011 was that there was "no record" of Obama ever meeting his uncle. They were careful not to say that Obama had "never met" his uncle. So, technically, they can make a valid argument that they didn´t lie.

Newly reported details about a 52-minute sniper attack on a central California electrical substation last year are raising concerns from Capitol Hill and beyond, amid questions over whether it was the work of terrorists. The April 16, 2013, attack had not been widely publicized until The Wall Street Journal reported new details in a story on Wednesday. The attack reportedly started when at least one person entered an underground vault to cut telephone cables, and attackers fired more than 100 shots into Pacific Gas & Electric’s Metcalf transmission substation, knocking out 17 transformers. Electric officials were able to avert a

Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C. blasted President Obama for "pre-judging" the outcome of the IRS investigation for targeting Tea Party groups who applied for tax-exempt status. Gowdy referred to Obama´s assertion in a Fox News interview that there was “not even a smidgen of corruption” in the IRS case. "How can he possibly draw that conclusion?" Gowdy asked, pointing out that former IRS official Lois Lerner invoked the Fifth Amendment and refused to testify. The president of Hobby Lobby discussed his company’s ongoing lawsuit against the Obama administration regarding the contraceptive mandate, which goes before the Supreme Court March 25 for oral arguments. Steve Green’s arts-and-crafts chain is suing the administration over the requirement that the company provide its employees with abortifacient drugs or face fines of $1.3 million per day. Hobby Lobby objects because its owners, the Green family, believe that their faith prohibits abortion. Green sat down with reporters on Wednesday morning for his first on-the-record interview to discuss the lawsuit. The following is a transcript of the interview, edited for clarity

Three cheers, hip-hip hurrah. Those who fret that the 103rd birthday of Ronald Reagan on Thursday would come and go without much ado can take heart. There’s big, cheerful doings planned in the tenth year since his passing. We’re talking music by the Camp Pendleton Marine Division Band, a color guard, a brass quintet, a 21-gun salute, an official aircraft flyover, the blessings of a chaplain and the placing of an official White House wreath — all this at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California. “President Reagan is one of few presidents where Americans remember the man,

As celebrity gossip goes, it takes some beating: actress and model Elizabeth Hurley has year-long affair with Bill Clinton while he was US President. Throw in the suggestion that they had a liaison in the White House while Hillary Clinton was next door, and that Mr Clinton ended it when he realised he was falling in love, and you have a story that rivals Marilyn Monroe’s alleged fling with John F Kennedy. But when something sounds too good to be true, it usually is, as Miss Hurley pointed out on Wednesday when she was forced to deny the “ludicrously silly”

He pointed to the intensity and frequency of recent storms, long droughts, snowstorms and subzero weather as evidence that climate change is no longer hypothetical or in the future.“The combination of all those factors convinces me that the

The Congressional Budget Office estimated on Tuesday that the Affordable Care Act will reduce the number of full-time workers by 2.5 million over the next decade. That is mostly a good thing, a liberating result of the law. Of course, Republicans immediately tried to brand the findings as “devastating” and stark evidence of President Obama’s health care reform as a failure and a job killer. It is no such thing. (SNIP) The new law will free people, young and old, to pursue careers or retirement without having to worry about health coverage.

The Affordable Care Act, aka ObamaCare, became law almost four years ago. It became operational last Oct. 1. Yesterday, Feb. 4, 2014, the ACA may well have been dealt its death blow. The Congressional Budget Office released a major study of the government’s budget and its effect on the overall economy over the next 10 years. In dull bureaucratic language, it delivers a devastating analysis of the inefficiencies, ineffectualities and problematic social costs of ObamaCare. The one-two punch: Virtually as many Americans will lack health coverage in 10 years as before the law was passed — but 2 million fewer

Mr. Obama wants Americans to believe that the targeting resulted from the confusing tax law governing nonprofits, which he says was "difficult" to interpret and resulted in mere "bureaucratic" mistakes.
