In touching tribute to Mandela, Obama
posts photo of himself watching TV

Investor´s Business Daily, by Andrew Malcolm

Last summer on his $100 million family tour of Africa, Barack Obama hoped for a priceless photo op with Nelson Mandela, the ailing freedom pioneer who went from prison cell to the presidency of South Africa. Mandela´s family suggested that wouldn’t happen. So, the Obamas did a photo op in Mandela´s former prison cell. Which Obama’s White House quickly tweeted upon word of the icon´s passing at 95. [Skip] But Obama was also caught staring at television coverage of Mandela’s passing, which became Obama’s Photo of the Day.

Wouldn´t you know it? This narcissistic, incomprehensibly, good-for-pretty near-nothing, American president is at it again. And, ironically, he´s showing us the bottom of his shoe again. Accident? Who knows? Psychiatrists and psychologists all over the world should be studying this man, and how in the hell he became our president.

Mandela only struggled against South African apartheid, while Lightworker´s struggle is against the entire United States of America and its frustrating barrier to socialism, the Constitution. So, who really is the greater man?

Telling. He mentions Mandela eight times, himself, fourteen. Sadly he´s oblivious to his ignorance. He has too long believed his disciples. On the bright side, when his disastrous reign has ended he´ll have a nice photo album he can page through.

Obama doesn´t know who or what did the tweet.

Besides ... Obama wasn´t even there when they took that picture. /s

I wasn´t aware Mandela´s family refused the Zipster access to Mandela. Wondering why the Moochie got to see him and have pictures taken with him.

This reminds me of the picture of him sitting on the famous Rosa Parks bus in deep contemplation. Camera hound!

Love the comment by poster that he will have a nice photo album to look through when he´s not president anymore. Ought to, when he´s had a taxpayer paid photographer taking 17,500 snaps a day! Not sure about the numbers but I´m sure they´re close enough. Wonder if he catches him on the loo too.

#29 is right that they are both Communists.

I got into an argument back in 2010 with a couple of co-workers about Mandela. They were admiring the man and asked what I thought of him. I just said he was a Communist. That was enough to get treated like I was a lunatic. So I did a search on Mandela quotes, printed them out and handed them to my liberal coworkers and walked off. Well, one of them got the point.

The thing about Communists, they walk into a problem determined to fix it, but their fix always makes it worse than it was. They sway (lie to) people by using terms that appear to be good, like "freedom" and "liberation" to gain acceptance and power but those things never seem to materialize. Instead, the government gets the power and the people find themselves even more oppresses.

Obama and Mandela may be more alike than anyone want´s to admit.

If Michelle was welcome that hints at racist insult because Barack isn´t black enough for the elite of elites.
As usual the evil will be buried with the bones leaving behind a super myth.
Mandela the terrorist caused many deaths and ruined an economy while his wife murdered her way to running the country for him.

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Hate to break the news to you, but our old pal Archie Andrews is doomed. After 73 years of not looking a day over 17, the long-running all-American symbol of wholesomeness and teen goodness is set to die in July, according to Archie Comics. He´ll go out good, saving someone. Which is swell. But is this really necessary in a soiled age of cynicism, non-heroes and non-role models, lying leaders and downright criminals? It's already hard enough being a parent with all the unwholesome temptations at hand. Must we inevitably give up every enduring symbol of hope and good and fun for a one-month publicity splash?

There was plenty of talk in Washington this week about equal pay. The thing is — it was just that: more talk. As a woman who worked at McDonald’s to get through college…. as the mom of two young daughters … and as the elected representative of thousands of hardworking women, I have always supported equal pay for equal work. And if a woman is being paid less than a man because of gender discrimination, that is both wrong and against the law. The protections provided to women and others in the Equal Pay Act must be enforced to make certain there is no pay disparity because of discrimination.

Hi, everybody. Earlier this week was Equal Pay Day. It marks the extra time the average woman has to work into a new year to earn what a man earned the year before. You see, the average woman who works full-time in America earns less than a man — even when she’s in the same profession and has the same education. That´s wrong. In 2014, it’s an embarrassment. Women deserve equal pay for equal work. This is an economic issue that affects all of us. Women make up about half our workforce. And more and more, they’re our families’ main breadwinners. So it’s good for everyone when women are paid fairly.

It was really just a matter of time until Kathleen Sebelius was looking up at the Obama bus passing over her bureaucratic body. On April Fool´s Day when President Obama attempted his ObamaCare victory lap with unsubstantiated enrollment numbers and failed to mention Sebelius even once, her fate was sealed.Obama is not known as Mr. Gratitude by anyone. But staring right at Sebelius in the front row of the Rose Garden and praising only Nancy Pelosi and Dick Durbin, of all people, for the trumped-up success of ObamaCare and not even mentioning his Health and Human Services secretary after five years of tough, loyal duty was

President Obama and wife Michelle are back on the road again, this time in Texas to harvest more Democrat dollars for the looming November midterm election. The previously-scheduled fundraising foray was tacked onto Obama´s memorial speech Wednesday at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas. Why let a nationally-televised shooting memorial go to waste when you can use such an official activity to cut the Democratic Party´s cost of political transportation on Air Force One for two fundraisers in Houston and another one today in Austin?

For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco, President Barack Obama’s assistant for homeland security and counterterrorism, insisted that American parents must be vigilant because their “confrontational” children could be on the verge of becoming terrorists. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Prominent Washington correspondents are accusing President Obama and his aides of knowingly stretching the truth on issues like the so-called women´s pay gap just to create controversy and keep issues -- and the president -- relevant. Washington Post columnist Ruth Marcus kicked off the attack last week when she blasted as “demagoguery” the administration´s tactics during the pay gap debate. “The level of hyperbole -- actually, of demagoguery -- that Democrats have engaged in here is revolting,” she wrote. CBS White House Correspondent Major Garrett then weighed in this week in his National Journal

The Clintons had a busy night of celebrations after Chelsea announced she and husband Marc Mezvinsky are expecting a baby. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Friday stood by his statement regarding embattled Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy, saying on KSNV’s What’s Your Point?, “If anyone thinks by any figment of their imagination that what happened up there last week was just people rallying to somebody that was oppressed, 600 people came in armed. They had practiced. They had maneuvered.” Reid continued, “They knew what they were doing. They set up snipers in strategic locations with sniper rifles. They had assault weapons. If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like
