Legend

We all are familiar with the urn experiment from our college statistics classes. Suppose you have an urn with an unknown proportion of red and green marbles. After being blindfolded you reach into the urn and withdraw a marble and without replacing it draw 9 more. At the conclusion of the sampling there are 10 red balls on the table. What’s your best guess about the proportion of red and green marbles in the urn? Roger Simon makes a disturbing conjecture: “what if all the marbles in the urn are red?” What he actually he writes is “What if It’s

Comments:
A legend is a synthetic identity masquerading as biography. Hitler once posited that the big lie is easier to pull over than small ones. With this Administration we´re afloat on a veritable sea of lies and arrant bovine scatology. But as Wretchard concludes, American voters are learning that they had to elect Obama to find out what he was really about. Now 52% of milennials (18-24), who voted for him nearly en masse, want him gone from office. Like, today. From the mouths of babes.... Amazing!

And the national media were co-conspiritors in pushing the Legend of Obama. When will someone look behind the curtain and see that the Great Ozbama is a complete fabrication?

Way back in 2007 when on this site was already obvious that the Obammunist was so bad it was almost unbelievable, I remember thinking that perhaps that was intentional. If he´d been just about as bad as, say, Clinton, then people might catch on. But he has so many horrible aspects that it seems, on the face of it, kind of impossible, so many people actually discounted all of it. And how well that works for him!

As well as it works for whoever chose and deployed him...

"Did America elect a fiction to the White House?"

Even worse, what if we didn´t? Remember the Democrat primary in 2008? Remember the Michigan primary, where Obama wasn´t even on the primary ballot, but was "awarded" half of Hillary´s delegates anyway? He didn´t win the Democrat nomination. He cheated his way onto the ballot. What if he cheated his way to the White House as well? What if he wasn´t elected? Remember the precincts in which more people voted than were registered? What if those were the rule, rather than the exception? And anyone who thinks he did this by himself, and isn´t being run by someone, is willfully blind.

"Reason as logic, or reason as motive? Or reason as a way of life? They don´t have to give me reasons. I can write my own damn reasons. And that is not the same as the half-baked tolerance that comes from no longer caring."

I now believe Obama is a US citizen and the birthers are wrong.
Just look at his photo next to the Kenyan father and his real father , Frank Marshall Davis.
Since Davis was his real father, Obama was born a natural citizen.
Noe comes the felonies.
He attended school in the USA as a foreign student.
He stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from the American government.

Fournier Repents: Put Obama on Rushmore

After criticizing President Obama throughout his second term, I´ve reversed course and decided that he´s a tremendous leader, one of the greatest presidents in U.S. history. Perfection is too high of a bar to set for any man, or any president, but Obama has come close to clearing it. What stands between this president and Mount Rushmore? Republicans—specifically, the stubborn extremists who control the House under the weak leadership of Speaker John Boehner. Gridlock, hyper-partisanship, and ineffective governance, those traits that make Washington so unpopular with voters, are singularly the fault of the GOP. It is not Obama´s fault; none

It must be one of the most exclusive clubs on earth. Wikipedia lists five people who have fallen from airplanes without parachutes and survived. Each is a proof that unlikely events happen. (Snip) We think we lead ordinary lives, but as someone observed humanity’s existence itself is so improbable as to be ludicrous, a circumstance summarized as the anthropic principle. Perhaps the world is not only stranger than we think, but stranger than we can know. There’s an old joke told among petty criminals in Manila, where suspects are routinely intimidated by the cops till they confess. (Snip) The pro-life demonstrators holding up their poster can be forgiven for thinking they were still in America. After all they had crossed no marked boundaries. So they thought it was alright to peaceably assemble. But in reality they had wandered into the precincts of some strange tribe where such things are not tolerated; a kind of Twilight Zone; a place governed by mysterious customs, prey to obscure taboos and worshipping some monstrous, unnamed idol. Carlota Gall of the New York Times describes what — if true — must be the biggest cover up in of all of the Obama administration’s checkered history. Her article is titled “What Pakistan Knew About Bin Laden”. But it is really about what the Obama administration knew that Pakistan knew about Bin Laden. The answer, as far as she can tell is that Washington knows for a fact that Osama bin Laden was Pakistan’s creature. They know it was Pakistan — or factions within it — that ran the whole war on terror. But, she writes, the Obama administration

Talk about a fateful trade. In 1954, Jackson Pollock gave two of his paintings to New York art dealer Martha Jackson in exchange for her sporty green convertible. Two years later, on a hot August evening after a day of drinking gin, Pollock crashed that same Oldsmobile 88 less than a mile from his home on New York´s Long Island, killing himself and a friend of his mistress. He was 44 years old. The mistress, Ruth Kligman, was also in the car but survived. Years later she wrote in a memoir that Pollock had been "speeding wildly" and missed a

Is Barack Obama simply too busy to be Chief Executive of the United States? Apparently. One of the primary functions of the president is to keep the nation safe, to preserve it from its enemies. To do that effectively, one would actually have to maintain something of a consistent level of attention to the moving pieces that directly influence how future events will unfold. None other than the truly sycophantic thinks for a second that President Obama cares a whit for anything that does not involve fundamentally altering the social composition of this country. Or golf. Back when Reagan ran things, we didn’t blather about sanctions against Russia. We used clandestine methods to sabotage its natural gas exports and other key functions. The largest non-nuclear man-made explosion in history, the 1982 Russian natural gas pipeline disaster, was one of the results. A mastermind of this well-documented operation (and some other yet-to-be-documented operations) was the director of planning at the National Security Council under Richard Allen and William Clark, Dr. Norman A. Bailey, who held the title of special assistant to the president. Bailey employed a small team of contractors to obtain intelligence on areas of interest,

In such cases, concern for animal rights seems to be a rather thin veneer for other political objectives that have far more to do with intolerant ideologies than they do with protecting animals. In the United States, animal-rights activism has found other pet causes but, at its core, activists seem less interested in protecting animals than in broader political agendas. Before getting to the speech itself, it’s worth noting a few things. When the Democrats passed and Barack Obama signed Obamacare, the majority opposed it. About 56%, in fact. A majority have consistently opposed that law ever since. The Obama administration touted 7 million sign-ups by March 31 as “success.” When that goal appeared to be unreachable, the administration suggested that maybe 5 or 6 million would be enough. Now, as if by magic, they have their number. Somehow. All along, the administration has touted false numbers of enrollees. A few months back, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated for the record that 7 million Obamacare sign-ups by the end of March would constitute success. She was clear about it. But then February came, and February always stinks. It’s just a lousy month. You’re tired of winter, you’re still miles away from spring, and no one was signing up for Obamacare. That 7 million figure looked totally unreachable. So Sebelius does what every other member of the Obama administration does when confronted with inconvenient facts. She lied. A triumphant President Barack Obama declared his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better.´ But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged Rose Garden appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night. With Chris Christie in deep trouble, Republican poobahs are reportedly looking to Jeb Bush to save their party in 2016. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.
