Sunny, the Obama’s new puppy, knocked down a two-year-old girl Wednesday who was visiting the White House for the unveiling of the holiday decorations. Sunny and Bo were brought into the State Dining Room to visit children who were taking part in holiday crafts. The year-old puppy tried to escape her handler, knocking down 2-year-old Ashtyn Gardner in the process. The little girl got up quickly and her dad John said she was fine. Michelle Obama was present and helped Ashytn to her feet. The First Lady later checked on the little girl again. Obama was unveiling the 2013 holiday decorations and had invited

So the 1 year old puppy is left to hang by Moochelle. Tsk, tsk. Not a good position for the neck of any puppy. As bad as LBJ and the ear pulling of the Beagle.

Photo Op gone wrong for poor Sunni.

Why did they get the dogs? No one in that family really wants them or wants to take care of the dogs. Or was this a photo op? How convenient Michelle was nearby and could take a moment to be sure the little girl was okay. /s/

Defense Department officials acknowledged to Fox News that Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, while speaking to a Jewish congregation at a Maryland synagogue on Tuesday, appeared to have misstated the administration´s policy on Iran -- by saying the country should not be allowed the "capacity" to develop a nuclear weapon. "So that´s the position of this administration; it was the position of the Bush administration -- that´s unequivocal. That´s stated -- it´s clear," Hagel said at the Beth El synagogue in Bethesda, Md. But Hagel was mistaken, and it´s not the first time he has misspoken about the United States´ nuclear

The electricity price index soared to a new high in January 2014 with the largest month-to-month increase in almost four years, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Meanwhile, data from the Energy Information Administration, a division of the U.S. Department of Energy, indicates that electricity production in the United States has declined since 2007, when it hit its all-time peak. The U.S. is producing less electricity than it did seven years ago for a population that has added more than 14 million people. “The electricity index rose 1.8 percent, its largest increase since March 2010,” said BLS in its

“Proposed FCC study of news organizations sparks conservative outcry,” The Washington Post declared on Friday. The story revealed details of the backlash against a Federal Communications Commission plan to investigate the news-gathering and information dissemination practices of a variety of print and broadcast media outlets. The Post quickly amended that headline, as someone decided the study should have sparked a general “outcry,” even though it apparently did not –- at least, not in The Post’s newsroom. Still, some bright fellow at The Post noted that this latest encroachment by the federal government should be met with at least a perfunctory protest

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, may be the brightest light to adorn the Republican Party in many years. He knows how to make the case for conservative ideas, pointing, for example, to the contrasting fates of Detroit and Houston to illustrate the superiority of conservative policies. So it´s particularly galling to see that rather than train his fire at President Barack Obama and the liberal machine that cocoons him, Cruz has become a one-man wrecking ball against Republicans. The former senator’s strong second-place showing in 2012 shocked—even scared—the GOP’s kingmakers, who saw in him an abortion-hating firebrand with no chance of beating Barack Obama. He’s too busy plotting another possible run at the White House. In recent months, Santorum has gathered his inner circle of longtime advisers to sketch out a presidential campaign.
