Seventh grader files lawsuit after
school staff destroys prayer flyers

Fox News, by Sarah J. Clark

Bonner Springs, Kan. — A middle school student is fighting back after she was banned from posting flyers promoting “See You at the Pole,” a prayer event that’s held every year at public schools across the nation. According to court documents, a school counselor ‘forcefully’ told the student, identified only as K.R., her flyers were “illegal,” citing separation of church and state. Court documents state the counselor confronted K.R. after school hours during a school dance in front of her friends. The flyers were subsequently taken down and destroyed by school staff. K.R., a seventh grader at Robert E. Clark Middle School,

There are all kinds of ways to hold the school official personally liable, #1. Liberals "drum" conservatives "out of office" all the time. Turnabout is fair play.

Enough pressure and she/he/LGBT will be gone.

There should not be any hiding or getting away with these bully tactics by expecting the district to pay for the defense of idiots like this staffer. They need to be as thoroughly embarrassed as the youngster they chewed out in front of her fellow classmates.

I would also suggest that the staffer go back and re-read the Constitution, but it isn´t written in crayon.

The teacher is lacking in intelligence......she does not even understand the statement she made about "separation of church and state". We do not have a government mandated religion to which all must belong. We have Freedom of religion (well, at least now before jugears tries to install sharia law and the Quaran......mandating the purchase of prayer rugs.)

Whenever a Liberal/Marxist states "separation of Church and State" they admit right there that they are Dumb, ignorant, and stupid. There is no such thing.

How does the establishment clause enter into this? It says, "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion..."

Ok if they have not passed any law, and the next line says, "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof" then where is the problem? Schools or any organization have no rights to prohibit the free exercise of religion.

So now ask your school on what authority are they using to prohibit religion in their school? OH and take a copy of the First Amendment with you. Maybe, just maybe if they have IQ´s high enough to comprehend English they might understand it.

Stop whining about them and stand in their face.

Revenge is a powerful engine, and nothing drives human behavior like it. Love, like candy, is dandy, but revenge, like liquor, is quicker, and the effect is longer lasting. The life and times of Bill de Blasio, the new mayor of New York City, reads like a satire from the typewriter of Evelyn Waugh. His Honor could have been a minor character in “Scoop,” Waugh’s classic send-up of newspaper journalism and bungling do-gooders stumbling across the margins of the real world. He’s a perfect fit in the scurvy precincts of Gotham’s radical left-wing politics. Minneapolis — Frigid, dense air swirled across much of the U.S. on Monday, forcing some cities and their residents into hibernation while others layered up and carried on despite a dangerous cold that broke decades-old records. Wind chill warnings stretched from Montana to Alabama. For a big chunk of the Midwest, the subzero temperatures moved in behind another winter wallop: more than a foot of snow and high winds that made traveling treacherous. Officials closed schools in cities including Chicago, St. Louis and Milwaukee and warned residents to stay indoors and avoid the frigid cold altogether. The forecast is extreme: Wind chills

Launching 17 million “Rocky Mountain High” jokes, Colorado has become the first state to make the prudent choice of legalizing the consumption and sale of marijuana, thus dispensing with the charade of medical restrictions and recognizing the fact that, while some people smoke marijuana to counter the effects of chemotherapy, most people smoke marijuana to get high — and that is not the worst thing in the world. Regardless of whether one accepts the individual-liberty case for legalizing marijuana, the consequentialist case is convincing. That is because the history of marijuana prohibition is a catalogue of unprofitable tradeoffs:

The uproar over “Duck Dynasty” should be studied forever in the business schools as a priceless teaching exercise in marketing quackery. The noisy row over the A&E cable network suspending Phil Robertson, the head duck, was mostly not about free speech — the network had a right to suspend him, depending on what was in the contract — but about how low the network wanted to kowtow to the lavender lobby, disrespect for religious belief, and whether

We can probably get a good sense of it by considering the account of President Bush’s conversations with Putin set forth by Peter Baker in his excellent book about the Bush presidency, Days of Fire. It’s well known that Bush and Putin got on well at first. But when the relationship soured, Bush became exasperated by his talks with the Russian bully. Putin seemed to delight in debating Bush. President Barack Obama is warning Russia "there will be costs" for any military maneuvers it launches in Ukraine, a move U.S. and Ukrainian officials say they believe to be already underway. Officials say Obama may retaliate by canceling a trip to Russia this summer for an international summit and could also cut off trade discussions with Moscow. But it´s unclear whether those moves will have any impact on Russia´s calculus in Ukraine, which is at the center of what many see as a tug of war between East and West. There’s no evidence that Obama wants to get involved in what may become a war between the Ukraine and Russia. He did not threaten any significant retaliation if Russian force attack nor did he offer military aid to the Ukraine. He announced that Vice President Joe Biden — but not

President Obama´s proclaimed strategy to "bypass Congress" — most conspicuously his broad rewriting of the Affordable Care Act — has given unusual prominence to a fairly arcane legal doctrine: standing. Standing is what is preventing a potential blizzard of litigation against the president´s unilateral decrees, and ironically, it´s a doctrine liberal jurists have long decried. To challenge the government in federal court, it isn´t enough to simply believe that the government´s conduct is illegal or even unconstitutional. Federal courts can hear only specific disputes about the law as applied to particular people. To be heard in court, a person must have

Security Council spent the day trying to fashion a response to the rapid escalation of the Ukraine crisis after Russian troops took up positions throughout the autonomous republic of Crimea. Obama expressed “deep concern,” the White House said, and called on Russia to withdraw its forces back to its bases in Crimea and “to refrain from any interference elsewhere in Ukraine.” Putin appeared to have given little ground, according to a readout of the conversation from his office.
