CDC: 62 Percent Of HIV-
Positive Men Have Unprotected Sex

CBS [Atlanta], by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:mitzi, 12/3/2013 11:45:56 AM

Data released last week found that 62 percent of American men who self-reported being HIV-positive said they had unprotected anal sex with a male partner in the last 12 months. The Centers for Disease Control report, “HIV Testing and Risk Behaviors Among Gay, Bisexual and Other Men who have Sex with Men,” noted that the population of men having sex with men (MSM) is a small proportion of the US population; however, this group represents the majority of people diagnosed with HIV.

So let´s all promote the homosexual lifestyle... er, Gay rights every chance we get. Better to spread the HIV virus around to as many men as possible than to be thought of as a homophobe.

Interesting - men are now classified as gay, bisexual or in a new category: "men who have sex with other men." And what a fitting initialism for that group: MSM.

to answer a question raised in #6, re "MSM".
again, someone close to me was until quite recently working at an AIDS/HIV clinic in an area with a ghastly amount of such diseases.
The term "MSM" is used in much of the reporting, including the regular reporting to the CDC.
Origin: in much of the black community, to be classed as a homosexual is regarded as a sin. But to be so driven to sexual activity wherever and whenever possible, that a person will have consensual sex with another man (either pitching or catching) is somehow OK. Hence, "Men who have Sex with Men", MSM, was a created category. CDC recognizes it as such.
yes, this is dumb. As the country and the culture swirl down the toilet.

I don´t think so, poster #4. One of the biggest threats to human reproduction is the high number of "bi-sexual" men who refuse to use a condom while having sex with men or women, thereby "catching" and "pitching" the virus to unsuspecting women, a large percentage of whom infect their babies during childbirth.

However, among identifiable groups today, committed lesbians have the lowest infection rates of any group.
