Michelle Obama’s pleading falls on deaf
ears, America’s eating habits deteriorate

Despite first lady Michelle Obama’s healthy living push, American eating habits deteriorated in the first 10 months of 2013, compared with 2012, according to a recent survey. According to a Gallup survey released over the Thanksgiving holiday, the percentage of adults reporting that they ate healthy all day “yesterday” has been consistently lower all 2013 compared to 2012.

I said it before and I´ll say it again, the best way Michelle can help America eat less is to put her picture on the refrigerator door.

People eat when they are depressed. America is depressed and she is one of the reasons why.

Perhaps some of it is powered by resentment.
Just yesterday I "toasted" Moochelle with a jelly donut. As I savored each bite, I said "this one´s for you" heh

I´m 57. I eat healthy everyday and workout everyday. Not because of anything Mooch says or does, but because I want to stay active with all my original parts for quite some time to come. Besides, she´s a terrible role model. With that giant caboose and 9 kinds of pies for Thanksgiving no one can take her seriously.

Looking at Moochelle´s rather generous [and continually growing] rear end, I am altering my eating habits to match hers. As Jerry Seinfeld once said while flying first class:

The survey sounds very flimsy. But let´s pretend otherwise.

The amazing thing is not the eating but the lack of reflection by media.

i.e. after five years of Michelle people aren´t behaving as she tells them. And that is interpreted as bad behavior.

Actually it is a very good thing when she is deliberately ignroed or defied. Or not heard at all.

My 11-year-old and all her friends HATE Michelle Obama for what she´s done to their school lunches. They blame her personally -- by name -- for trying to "starve" them by limiting portion sizes and taking away their favorite menu items.

When I hear kids complaining bitterly about the know-nothing president and his interfering wife, I have hope for the future.

#7, despite the fact that there is a lot of fraud and a lot of people abuse the system, doesn´t mean that most people using food stamps don´t really need them. They do. The problem is that the left has destroyed the economy and created a system that almost forces most people to become dependent upon government. I didn´t realize a lot of this until this last year when I lost my home, my truck and am barely scraping by. I can´t afford to live on my salary anymore. Every other week, I have to go without food and other things because I can´t afford rent, inflation, the cost of transportation or gas (if I still had a vehicle), 9.25% sales taxes on nearly everything else when supporting someone and my cats. No, people really sometimes do need food stamps. I don´t have them, but I sure could use some help!

#15, you should not be unwilling to get food stamps. If you are going hungry, then certainly you are in the situation that food stamps were created for. Please consider applying.

I would much rather my tax dollars go to help someone in your situation, than people who are just milking the system.

With the price of food sky rocketing, no one can afford to eat healthy anymore. No wonder they keep the price of food out of the inflation index. If it were left in, the inflation rate would run around 20%.

A majority have consistently opposed that law ever since. The former two-term governor of Florida speaks fluent Spanish, is a convert to Catholicism, and has high name recognition. Jeb could raise millions of dollars over night by just saying “yes” to running. Despite all this, there are strong reasons Republicans should say no to him. 1. His last name is poison. Let’s face it, if Jeb Bush had the last name of Something Else he would have already run for president in 2008 or 2012. According to a recent Washington Post/ABC News poll registered voters were asked if they would definitely NOT vote for Jeb Bush and 50 percent said they would not.
