Report: Obama asks Netanyahu for ´breather´
The Hill (Washington DC), by Blake Neff

Original Article

President Obama requested Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu take a “breather” from his harsh criticism of the U.S. strategy regarding Iran during a call betwee the two leaders, The Washington Post reported on Thursday. The request came as the administration girds up for a push in the next six months to reach a final settlement on Iran´s nuclear program. The president reportedly urged Netanyahu to tone down his rhetoric for the sake of diplomacy and urged him to dispatch officials to Washington who could help negotiate a resolution agreeable to both countries. The president called Netanyahu last Sunday, promising to

This is a nasty cornered democRAT party with a narcissistic leader desperately using any means necessary to do whatever they need to do to salvage the power they gained via thuggery, coercion, manipulation and deception in the first place.

But Krauthammer is right. It is worse now than ever and the GOP and America are paying the price for failing to take out President Clinton and her husband for their numerous and sundry crimes back in the 1990´s.

0bama and company have just pushed the envelope and, mark my words, we could get somebody worse after this crew. . . Hard to believe, but back in 2000 the Clinton´s were considered the most corrupt and lawless administration of all time. . . . and here we are today.

These people here now need to be justify punished as soon as is practicable by honorable Americans. In fact someone could run a campaign on the notion.

I know it seems impossible now, but things can and, just might, get much worse.

...I can just imagine Barry asking Bibi to cut him some slack, so presidential...

...considering it´s already quite questionable as for how it´s been displayed to the american public, and the fact they wanted some of the press to hold back reporting on "secret meetings", if I were Bibi, I´d be making decisions based on my own intelligence network...

...sad to say, I find myself becoming a bit suspicious of our own...

#16, from what I´ve been reading, it is actually the war that BRINGS the 12th Imam.

The war can be started by anyone, even the shia. Once the Islamists are getting wiped out, and it is the darkest hour, he comes in and saves them. They defeat the enemies, and a new caliphate arises.

I love watching Obama´s body language when he is in Netanyahu´s presence. He no longer can pretend he is the smartest guy in the room, because it´s so obvious that the smartest guy in the room is Netanyahu. Obama almost shrinks into a ball and loses his fake pleasant banter, knowing that there´s someone there who is aware he´s faking it all.

Great intelligence and character can only be faked in the absence of someone who clearly possesses both.

I can hear BO whine "Stop yelling at me, sob, sob." He has no ability to deal with anyone who disagrees with him. This is even more amazing when considering the hopes that the world had when he was elected. He would "bring us all together". He cannot get along with anyone unless they are willing to kiss his feet. That is not a "healer", that is a dictator, which we should all realize by now.

I know why Herr Obama is whining, the Jews don´t treat war criminals too kindly. We may believe that NSA has been spying on the whole world, but with Israel I bet its the other way around. They probably know every word and action Big Mouth, Little Brain, takes even before he does. With Israel, there will never be death camps again.

Ask Nazi Adolph Eichmann (if it was possible). He was hanged shortly before midnight on 31 May 1962, at a prison in Ramla, Israel. If it was me, I wouldn´t screw with those people. They will protect themselves. They could probably produce 10 phony Obama birth certificates if they felt the need to do it.

Obama is just trying to sound like he belongs in the pack with the big dogs. It is really sad in a pathetic sort of way, watching him trying so hard to be relevant in a room full of adults.

Our ´boy wonder´ thinks he should be ruling the universe but hates America and has done his best to harm his country and countrymen. He apparently resents the hell out of Israel as well, so he´s doing a darned good job of doing as much damage to them as he possibly can. Yeah, y´know, one needs to be veeery careful in interpreting what anyone says publicly on this, there has to be a lot of private stuff going on, and then even more private stuff, and then even more double-secret private stuff. Even Netanyahu´s public grumbling cannot be taken at full face value. The problem here isn´t the game, the game is the game is the game, the problem is the stakes here are awfully high, and one of the players is stark raving bonkers. Maybe more than one.

I belong to a local Economic Club that had the rare pleasure of having both Bibi and Ehud Barak as speakers. During Barak´s speech, he kept mentioning how difficult it was to deal with Muslims because they would tell you anything during negotiations that you wanted to hear just to get to the next step but they didn´t really mean what they were saying. That really made an impression on me until I read about the Islamic practice of Taqiyya and we got Obama for a president. Google that word and it will explain his entire presidency and, for that matter, his whole life.

President Obama on Friday signed into law a bill authored by Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz that would bar an Iranian diplomat from entering the United States, but immediately issued a statement saying he won´t enforce it. Obama decided to treat the law as mere advice. "Acts of espionage and terrorism against the United States and our allies are unquestionably problems of the utmost gravity, and I share the Congress´s concern that individuals who have engaged in such activity may use the cover of diplomacy to gain access to our Nation," Obama said in his signing statement.

It’s Good Friday. Time for the leftwing president to do something bad. Barack Obama just punted on the Keystone Pipeline, again, and some Democrats say they are angry at him. The Obama administration once again has punted on a final decision for the Keystone XL pipeline, announcing ahead of the holiday weekend it is extending a key review period indefinitely — a move that could push off a determination until after the midterm elections. Republicans, as well as red-state Democrats who want the proposed Canada-to-Texas pipeline approved, slammed the administration for the delay. Democrats even threatened to find ways to

The Obama administration is extending the agency review period for the Keystone XL oil sands pipeline, potentially delaying the decision until after the November elections -- sparing President Obama a tough political decision in the process. A senior State Department official said agencies have stopped crafting comments because a Nebraska Supreme Court decision could change the pipeline route and, ultimately, the environmental, socioeconomic and cultural factors that went into the environmental review. The official did not directly answer a question whether an altered pipeline route would require a new environmental review.

The school vice principal found hanging Friday was identified as Kang Min-kyu, the lead guide for the school trip. No suicide note was found near the site, but Yonhap news agency reported that Kang

When a video of high school student Jeff Bliss calling out his teacher went viral, a lot of people started talking about the state of our education system and ways to improve it. However, almost a year since the video was posted, not much has changed. In fact, many would say that with the extension of Common Core curriculum across most of the country, it has actually gotten worse. Take this attempted explanation of Common Core’s approach to math: (Letter & Charts) How is this helping? Making word problems math situations more difficult to understand and contorting what would be

In man-on-the-street interviews held in front of the NRA’s headquarters in Virginia, anti-gun protestors shared some true gems of logic: Only law enforcement officers should be allowed to use weapons ~30,000 Americans die every year due to gun violence ~Gun violence is the NRA’s fault ~The majority of Americans want these (gun control) laws passed ~Only the second comment really deserves a response. In 2010, just over eleven thousand homicides in this country were due to the use of firearms. The thirty-thousand figure is composed of all deaths due to firearms, regardless of the situation, and the word ‘violent’ is

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

Democratic Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren wrote in her forthcoming book that she was “hurt” and “angry” by 2012 reporting on her fraudulent claim to Native American heritage. “What really threw me, though, were the constant attacks from the other side,” Warren wrote in her book “A Fighting Chance.” “I would almost persuade myself that I was starting to get the hang of full-throttle campaigning and then — bam! Out of left field, the state Republican Party, or the Brown campaign, or some blogger, would launch a rocket at me,” Warren wrote, adding, ”I was stunned by the attacks.” This reporter (blogger?) reported extensively

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter joined fellow Nobel laureates Wednesday in opposing Keystone XL, insisting that approving the pipeline would trigger “more climate upheaval” around the globe. In an open letter to President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, Carter and the nine other Nobel Peace Prize winners bluntly warned the leaders: “Your decision on the Keystone XL tar sands pipeline will define your climate legacy.” The missive, published as an advertisement in Politico, represents the first time Carter has taken a position on the $5.4 billion project and makes him the first former president to come

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?
