SANFORD, Fla. — George Zimmerman had five guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition with him when deputies arrested him earlier this month on domestic violence charges, according to court documents released Tuesday. A search warrant made public by the Seminole County court clerk shows that Zimmerman had a 12-gauge shotgun, an AR-15 assault rifle and three handguns when he was arrested Nov. 18 at his girlfriend´s house. The girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, told deputies that Zimmerman pointed a shotgun at her during an argument and also used it to smash her coffee table. Zimmerman is free on $9,000 bail on charges

So What!! All the threats made against his life by negro thuggish malcontent racists probably made him paranoid. Maybe Zimmerman should sue the negro film director Spike Lee and some other negro talk show hosts who actively stirred the race hate against him! Zimmerman is a victim of the "Ebonics Culture" advocacy that permeates today´s American society.

What a turkey this guy is!

If he lands in some Florida slammer the feral ghetto population that is always present will probably murder him.

From what I read the "victim" girlfriend was shopping around the media to sell her story before this incident... Mighty suspicious to me, but Zimmerman should know better.....

He is making himself harder to support. He needs to leave the country and stay away from women and guns for at least a few years if he hopes to stay out of prison.

Only 100+ rounds? That´s just a start on what someone should have. Is Zimmerman being targeted by the cops, or is he sort of going off the rails? Has anyone ever read "The Onion Field" by Joseph Wambaugh (The Blue Knight; Police Story)? It details what happened to a cop who went through a traumatic, life-threatening situation. Run-ins with the authorities can almost be expected. In short, PTSD.

Owning weapons is not against the law. He is not a convicted felon...in fact, he has not committed a crime. The media will hound him until he does. Please, George, leave Florida and move somewhere you can be anonymous. You owe it to yourself.

How many were out there ready do kill him? How many to collect on the bounty put on his head by the New Black Panthers?

Many hunters have arsenals that would put his to shame and no one is out for their head.

Nor do they probably know his story, how threatened his life continues to be, and that this latest bimbo set him up.

But still they cluck.

I never liked this guy. He stalked the Martin boy, he was looking for a fight, and he got it. He was looking for a reason to use his gun, and he found it.

And it´s clear since the trial that Zimmerman is a trigger happy goon always looking for trouble. Well, he got it.

~~The search warrant says Zimmerman told deputies a different version of events. He said that Scheibe and he had agreed to separate and that he was planning to move to Texas. But as he gathered his belongings, Zimmerman said Scheibe became upset and threw a handgun and the shotgun on the floor.

The weapons were locked in a soft-sided case with a combination lock when deputies arrived, according to the warrant. In addition to the shotgun and AR-15 rifle, the warrant says Zimmerman had three handguns: a Glock 19, a Taurus 9mm and an Interarms .380-caliber. Deputies also collected two cellphones, a pocket knife and a flashlight, among other items.
~~

AP puts this part of the story towards the bottom....

FTA: Deputies also collected two cellphones, a pocket knife and a flashlight, among other items.

Okay. I´ll admit to being stupid: why would the cops "collect" --read: confiscate, cell phones and a flashlight?

No doubt they confiscated the weapons, which as long as he in not a convicted felon, the cops will have to return to him when the domestic case is adjudicated. He´s only charged with a misdemeanor, not a felony, and even if convicted [which he won´t be] on the misdemeanor, he gets the weapons back.

Seriously. The man needs to get out of Florida --as far away as he can get and still remain in the continental United States.

I would never condone domestic violence, but I don´t believe that´s what´s happening with Zimmerman. Not in this case. I would not be surprised to learn that not only was this woman shopping her story for $$$$ before the incident, but that she was put up to [hired to] snaring Zimmerman into a relationship so that she could set up a situation such as what he now finds himself in. She has known Zimmerman for a long, long time, and she would be the one someone might go to if they were trying to entrap Zimmerman. I´m not saying that´s what happened, but nothing would surprise me.

I hope some entity like Legal Insurrection is actually investigating this woman´s background.

Next the girlfriend admits to police she is not prego. She and her mother shopping paid TV time with no takers.......then call to cops. Zimmermans call to 911 after hers said she broke her own glass table.

He was not a felon and had every right to own guns.

The latest episode ensures that he doesn´t leave FL. His life will never be the same and he should have kept going west when they stopped him in TX.

The righteous indignation burns a little brighter on this side of the Atlantic than it does in Europe and beyond — the United States, per Fitzgerald, “having about it still that quality of the idea.” Forged in revolution, informed by soaring sentiment, and defined by acts of variously prudent dissidence, Americans of all sorts fancy themselves to be fighting the good fight. President Barack Obama is attempting to lower the rate of “births” — and separately, pregnancies — among blacks and Latinos. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lists reducing “births” as one of the top goals of Obama’s “Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative.” The language on the CDC’s website makes clear that the program seeks to reduce the rate of both pregnancies and “births” among minorities. Specifically, the CDC says the “purpose of this program is to demonstrate the effectiveness of innovative, multicomponent, communitywide initiatives in reducing rates of teen pregnancy and births in communities with the highest rates, with a focus on reaching

The law´s biggest tax provision—billions of dollars in tax credits to help people cover the cost of their premiums—is already in effect, but doesn´t affect the taxes due on Tuesday. A handful of smaller provisions, mostly affecting wealthy households, will show up for the first time in this year´s filing. Among this year´s changes: a 0.9 percent increase in Medicare taxes and a 3.8 percent surtax on investment income. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed. Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally. Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly. But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports. And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as

Casual marijuana use may come with some not-so-casual side effects. For the first time ever, researchers at Northwestern University have analyzed the relationship between casual use of marijuana and brain changes – and found that young adults who used cannabis just once or twice a week showed significant abnormalities in two important brain structures. The study’s findings, to be published Wednesday in the Journal of Neuroscience, are similar to those of past research linking chronic, long-term marijuana use with mental illness and changes in brain development. Dr. Hans Breiter, co-senior study author, said he was inspired to look at the effects of casual

Hank Aaron’s recent comments about the need for America to realize that racism is still very much alive and thriving — only now due to those who wear “neckties and starched shirts” rather than KKK hoods — has sparked an angry backlash and many fans are turning the tables, calling the baseball legend himself a racist. “Hank Aaron is a s*****g piece of [expletive] [racial slur],” one man said in an email to the Atlanta Braves’ front office, one of the teams Mr. Aaron used to play for, CBS News reported. “My old man instilled in my mind from a

Western Washington University sent a questionnaire to students asking them for advice on how the administration could succeed at making sure that in future years, “we are not as white as we are today.” The question notes that WWU’s racial make up does not perfectly reflect the nation at large, and asks students to consider strategies that other universities have used to focus on skin color as the paramount indicator of a student-applicant’s worth. The president of WWU has stated that his explicit goal is to reduce the white population on campus, according to Campus Reform. “I’ve said before and I’ll say it

Look, everyone loves Sean Connery, particularly Sean Connery. That’s why he plays Sean Connery in every movie he’s in. People love that Scottish brogue so much, they don’t mind that he has it when he plays Juan Sánchez Villa-Lobos Ramírez, an immortal Spaniard in Highlander. The guy even won an Oscar for playing an Irish cop with a Scottish accent. Talk about sexist double standards: Meryl Streep has to master foreign dialects to get her golden statuettes. Connery just has to show up on time. In economics you devalue a currency by printing too much of it. In film you

Funny question in the headline, yes? But since President Obama worries more about the threat of terrorists´ improvised nuclear device going off in a major American city than anything Russia can throw at us, I was wondering if the government had deigned to share with us citizens any tips for, you know, surviving something their own intelligence points to as the likeliest unlikely Black Swan event. Well, no. And yes. No — very few people in Washington, D.C., who work for the government have any idea what they would do if a 10-kiloton nuclear device exploded at the intersection of 16th and K
