SANFORD, Fla. — George Zimmerman had five guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition with him when deputies arrested him earlier this month on domestic violence charges, according to court documents released Tuesday. A search warrant made public by the Seminole County court clerk shows that Zimmerman had a 12-gauge shotgun, an AR-15 assault rifle and three handguns when he was arrested Nov. 18 at his girlfriend´s house. The girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, told deputies that Zimmerman pointed a shotgun at her during an argument and also used it to smash her coffee table. Zimmerman is free on $9,000 bail on charges

So What!! All the threats made against his life by negro thuggish malcontent racists probably made him paranoid. Maybe Zimmerman should sue the negro film director Spike Lee and some other negro talk show hosts who actively stirred the race hate against him! Zimmerman is a victim of the "Ebonics Culture" advocacy that permeates today´s American society.

What a turkey this guy is!

If he lands in some Florida slammer the feral ghetto population that is always present will probably murder him.

From what I read the "victim" girlfriend was shopping around the media to sell her story before this incident... Mighty suspicious to me, but Zimmerman should know better.....

He is making himself harder to support. He needs to leave the country and stay away from women and guns for at least a few years if he hopes to stay out of prison.

Only 100+ rounds? That´s just a start on what someone should have. Is Zimmerman being targeted by the cops, or is he sort of going off the rails? Has anyone ever read "The Onion Field" by Joseph Wambaugh (The Blue Knight; Police Story)? It details what happened to a cop who went through a traumatic, life-threatening situation. Run-ins with the authorities can almost be expected. In short, PTSD.

Owning weapons is not against the law. He is not a convicted felon...in fact, he has not committed a crime. The media will hound him until he does. Please, George, leave Florida and move somewhere you can be anonymous. You owe it to yourself.

How many were out there ready do kill him? How many to collect on the bounty put on his head by the New Black Panthers?

Many hunters have arsenals that would put his to shame and no one is out for their head.

Nor do they probably know his story, how threatened his life continues to be, and that this latest bimbo set him up.

But still they cluck.

I never liked this guy. He stalked the Martin boy, he was looking for a fight, and he got it. He was looking for a reason to use his gun, and he found it.

And it´s clear since the trial that Zimmerman is a trigger happy goon always looking for trouble. Well, he got it.

~~The search warrant says Zimmerman told deputies a different version of events. He said that Scheibe and he had agreed to separate and that he was planning to move to Texas. But as he gathered his belongings, Zimmerman said Scheibe became upset and threw a handgun and the shotgun on the floor.

The weapons were locked in a soft-sided case with a combination lock when deputies arrived, according to the warrant. In addition to the shotgun and AR-15 rifle, the warrant says Zimmerman had three handguns: a Glock 19, a Taurus 9mm and an Interarms .380-caliber. Deputies also collected two cellphones, a pocket knife and a flashlight, among other items.
~~

AP puts this part of the story towards the bottom....

FTA: Deputies also collected two cellphones, a pocket knife and a flashlight, among other items.

Okay. I´ll admit to being stupid: why would the cops "collect" --read: confiscate, cell phones and a flashlight?

No doubt they confiscated the weapons, which as long as he in not a convicted felon, the cops will have to return to him when the domestic case is adjudicated. He´s only charged with a misdemeanor, not a felony, and even if convicted [which he won´t be] on the misdemeanor, he gets the weapons back.

Seriously. The man needs to get out of Florida --as far away as he can get and still remain in the continental United States.

I would never condone domestic violence, but I don´t believe that´s what´s happening with Zimmerman. Not in this case. I would not be surprised to learn that not only was this woman shopping her story for $$$$ before the incident, but that she was put up to [hired to] snaring Zimmerman into a relationship so that she could set up a situation such as what he now finds himself in. She has known Zimmerman for a long, long time, and she would be the one someone might go to if they were trying to entrap Zimmerman. I´m not saying that´s what happened, but nothing would surprise me.

I hope some entity like Legal Insurrection is actually investigating this woman´s background.

Somehow I´m more worried that DHS has appropriated billions of dollars to purchase guns and ammunition than Zimmerman´s having 5 guns and 100+ bullets. I feel secure Zimmerman´s stash will not be used against me and mine but I´m not so sure about DHS´ intentions.

He was not a felon and had every right to own guns.

The latest episode ensures that he doesn´t leave FL. His life will never be the same and he should have kept going west when they stopped him in TX.

Maybe one of his ´haters´ gave the girlfriend the right price.

Don´t bother going to the range with only 100 rounds. 100 rounds for each of the five weapons might make it a worthwhile trip.

Washington -- When the Bureau of Land Management retreated from a standoff with Cliven Bundy, a few hundred people traveled to his Nevada ranch to protest what they see as an overreach of the federal government. (Snip)Because of the cheap rent, some, including fellow cattlemen who don´t ranch on public lands, call public land ranchers "welfare ranchers" and have no sympathy for the Western lot. But Griggs said they don´t understand that ranching public land is "not a bargain." "On public lands, you might get kicked off at any moment for a turtle. That´s kind of the deal," he said.

The year that we were married, my husband and I were given a truly wonderful gift: a honeymoon safari to southern Africa. It was an amazing experience. President Obama is right. He told Major Garrett of CBS this week that “Mr. Putin’s decisions aren’t just bad for Ukraine. Over the long term, they’re going to be bad for Russia.” I believe that Putin’s adventures in Russia’s “near abroad” are a mistake. Indeed, they are part of a whole tapestry of wrongheadedness. It’s also bad for the Kremlin to crush dissent, censor the news, and hobble the economy by handing it over to oligarchs and a kleptocratic bureaucracy. Putin’s scapegoating and demonizing of gays isn’t only morally wrong, it’s not in Russia’s long-term interests either. That Putin prefers to

Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

WASHINGTON--Rushing to an afternoon vote last month, Sen. Ted Cruz hopped the underground tram to the U.S. Capitol from his office across the street. The Texan planted his black ostrich cowboy boots in the middle of the small subway car without getting so much as a nod from the other senators--Republican or Democrat--amiably chatting or huddled in their seats. Mr. Cruz finds himself standing alone a lot these days. His response to the cold shoulders: "The establishment despised Ronald Reagan" before he became president, "but the people loved him." For the 43-year-old Republican, the Reagan name illuminates his political life´s

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

Conservative columnist Ann Coulter — who used her talk show platform in the last presidential election cycle to campaign hard for former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney — has taken up the mantra once again, calling on Republicans to give the failed White House bidder another shot in 2016. She made the suggestion during a discussion on Sean Hannity’s radio show while speaking of her new book, “Never Trust a Liberal Over 3-Especially a Republican.” Ms. Coulter also addressed the question of Mr. Romney’s shortcomings by saying that his 2012 loss wasn’t entirely his fault. “I think too much blame, not only in this
