American Music Awards 2013:
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis an early
winner, offer tribute to Trayvon Martin

Associated Press, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 11/24/2013 11:24:47 PM

Los Angeles - Rather than thanking a list of friends and colleagues, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis used their American Music Awards acceptance speech to send a message of tolerance on Sunday night. Ben Haggerty, the rapper known as Macklemore, accepted the award for favorite rap/hip-hop album, then quoted Martin Luther King Jr. in a live satellite feed from the rap group´s latest tour stop. "Due to the fact that we are in Florida tonight accepting this award I want to acknowledge Trayvon Martin and the hundreds and hundreds of kids each year that are dying due to racial profiling and the violence that follows it," he said.

Comments:
Remember children. This is just a musical awards show, not a political arena where you can spout lies and faux aggression like in your lyrics and make millions.

He must have meant all the whites and Jews that are being hit and assaulted and some killed so black thug youth can have something to do (since they don´t work a real job).

What´s really outrageous is macklemore is from Seattle. He has to be familiar about two men who were killed by unprovoked attacks by black thugs and both were killed. One, Kris Kime, during Mardi Gras in 2001, and the other a busker called the Tuba Man. A well known musician who performed outside sports venues for several years and was beaten to death in 2008 by a gang of black thugs.

First, never heard of these people.

Second, there is no connection whatsoever between musical talent (do they have any?) and ability to think logically. Actually, there is quite a bit of evidence of an inverse relationship. More musical talent = less ability to think critically.

A variation of ´´This is for Trayvon´´? At least their shout-out isn´t being followed by a near-death beating of some hapless white guy. But these guys are low-testosterone whites. They aren´t about to beat anyone.

And maybe by stating that ´´hundreds and hundreds of kids each year that are dying due to racial profiling and the violence that follows it´´, they are silently referring to the vast majority of race-based crimes - which is black on white violence.

This lie is right up there with Obamacare helping millions of people and the Clinton Foundation helping hundreds of millions of people, like Obama claimed for Bubba when he got his award last week. These clowns just say anything now, even though their claims can be debunked in 5 minutes.

This whole idea that black people don´t have to abide by the white man´s laws of behavior is catching on a spreading like hell through their community.Idiots like Charles Barkley should be positive role models but instead preach the concepts of black victimhood.

I can´t watch these types of shows. But I was very happy to hear that Taylor Swift won so many major prizes -- including the big one.

I´m not a huge fan of her music. But it is so nice to see a young woman who actually acts and dresses with modesty, and believes in being feminine and not ultra-slutty. She also writes a lot of her songs, that actually have melodies and aren´t full of dirty words.

Oh that Miley Slutus and Lady Gag Me could only learn from her example...

Heartbleed bug affects gadgets everywhere

New York - The Internet bug Heartbleed doesn´t just affect websites. It also has shown up in the gadgets we use to connect to the Internet. Tech giants Cisco and Juniper have identified about two dozen networking devices affected by Heartbleed, including servers, routers, switches, phones and video cameras used by small and large businesses everywhere. (Snip) That means for two years now, someone could have been able to tap your phone calls and voicemails at work, all your emails and entire sessions at your computer or iPhone. You also could have been compromised if you logged into work from home remotely.

The NSA is disavowing its knowledge of the Heartbleed security vulnerability after a Bloomberg report suggested that the spy agency had exploited it for at least two years. “NSA was not aware of the recently identified vulnerability in OpenSSL, the so-called Heartbleed vulnerability, until it was made public in a private-sector cybersecurity report," NSA spokesperson Vanee Vines told The Post. "Reports that say otherwise are wrong.” The White House and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence echoed that statement Friday, saying neither the NSA nor any other part of the U.S. government knew about Heartbleed

The U.S. National Security Agency knew for at least two years about a flaw in the way that many websites send sensitive information, now dubbed the Heartbleed bug, and regularly used it to gather critical intelligence, two people familiar with the matter said. The NSA’s decision to keep the bug secret in pursuit of national security interests threatens to renew the rancorous debate over the role of the government’s top computer experts. Heartbleed appears to be one of the biggest glitches in the Internet’s history, a flaw in the basic security of as many as two-thirds of the world’s websites. Its discovery and the creation of a fix

Perth, Australia - Australia’s prime minister says searchers hunting for the missing Malaysian jetliner are confident underwater signals that have been picked up are coming from the jet’s black box. Tony Abbott told reporters while on an official visit to China that Australian authorities are confident they know the location of the black box from the plane that disappeared without a trace on March 8 during a flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to Beijing. The plane’s black boxes, or flight data and cockpit voice recorders, could help solve the mystery of why Flight 370 veered so far off course.
