Obama: I don´t worry
about my safety

The Hill (Washington DC), by Mario Trujillo

President Obama said Friday he does not worry much about his safety because of the “outstanding” Secret Service detail that shadows him everywhere he goes. Obama said the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy 50 years ago transformed the presidential security detail to a point where he hardly thinks about safety. "It´s not something I think about, mainly because we have a Secret Service that does an outstanding job every single day," Obama told ABC News in an interview set to air next week. For example, the open-air car Kennedy was riding in while shot in Dallas in 1963

The media pimps want us to know that we should give Obama a break. After all, there are a lot of racist old white guys out there that might be a threat.

Need to divert attention away from his incompetence, and focus on the "bad" folks that really don´t like him.

And everyone knows Biden is an idiot. There are still plenty of pod people who think Obama is the messiah.

If Obama does not worry about his safety, then why did it cross his mind to tell republicans recently that he couldn´t eat with them because he didn´t have his food tester along? It´s on his mind. It is on all of their minds, down to the agency heads and czars. They know that they deserve prosecution for their serial waste, fraud, and abuse of law-abiding citizens. Justice will come in its own time.

Obama does not have much to worry about security wise as long as he does not appear unprotected in public like Kennedy did. If you notice Obama never appears in public unless he is behind a bulletproof shield and never gives a speech unless he is inside a building that has been thoroughly vetted by the Secret Service. The buildings where Obama gives his speeches are usually on college campuses where everyone there has been checked out, and if they are to stand behind Obama are specifically placed to demonstrate diversity by Obama´s political people. Everybody in the audience is scanned through metal detectors by the Secret Service before they ever get anyplace near where Obama is due to appear. I guess all that is only prudent in this day and age when you never know when some nut will show up on his or her own personal suicide by cop scheme.

I was at a baseball game onetime where G. W. Bush was in attendance, the whole ballpark was disrupted by security with 25,000 people having to be scanned through metal detectors by the Secret Service. We got to the ballpark at our regular time but did not get inside and to our seats until about the third inning.

That is a 3 percentage point jump from the depth of the recession in 2008. (Snip) After decades of decline, the share of mothers with children in the house has been growing since around 2000. Here is a college quiz. While many parts of the U.S. economy struggle to recover from the Great Recession of 2008-09, one domestic industry is experiencing a technology-driven expansion in which American innovations have led to countless new company startups, a surge in hiring and some of the highest-paying entry-level jobs for graduating college seniors. CONCORD, N.H. — Republican Scott Brown said Monday he will kick off his next campaign for U.S. Senate in Portsmouth, the New Hampshire city he says played a special role in his childhood. The former Massachusetts senator will formally announce his bid for the seat held by Democrat Jeanne Shaheen at the Portsmouth Harborside Hotel on Thursday night. “I remember our house on Islington Street, strolling through Strawbery Banke with my grandfather, and catching a show at Prescott Park. Now, Portsmouth is going to be the start of the next chapter in my life,” he told supporters in an email.

Sen. Jeanne Shaheen sure talks a lot about “outside” money. She raises campaign funds by claiming to protect the state from outside “special interests” who might help Scott Brown. Those poor donors probably have no idea how much money Shaheen raises from out-of-state special interests. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks campaign donations, Shaheen has raised 75 percent of her 2014 campaign cash from out of state. For her career, Shaheen’s top 10 metropolitan areas for campaign donations are, in order: Boston; New York City; Washington, D.C.; Los Angeles; Lowell, Mass; San Francisco; Manchester; Chicago; Portsmouth; Philadelphia.
