Obama: ´We´re Going to Have
to...Re-market and Re-brand´
the Affordable Care Act

President Barack Obama told a gathering of corporate executives Tuesday he´s confident that his model of health care will work in the end, but he said he´s going to have to "re-brand" it to sell it to a skeptical public. He didn´t use the word "Obamacare" once on Tuesday in talking about his health care law, but he mentioned the "Affordable Care Act" seven times. "So, look, I am confident that the model that we built, which works off of the existing private insurance system, is one that will succeed," Obama told the Wall Street Journal´s CEO Council Annual Meeting

Because Obama doesn´t have to live under the Affordable (sic) Care Act, he supposes he can handle this nugget by the clean end and convince benighted Americanos that it´s actually a Tootsie Roll, regardless of its taste.

But what about the clip that was played repeatedly, when speaking to a crowd, Barack Hussein refers to "Obamacare," and then smirking, pauses to say, something like, "that´s alright, I care." As always with this loser, a lying liar lying.

You have to rebrand it? You mean because with your name on your signature legislation, passed by democrats, with no Republicans, it´s hard to blame anyone but those actually responsible for this? Too bad. The blame can´t be shifted this time.

When he signed the bill into law he was proud to have it called ObamaCare.

Now he says:

"ObamaCare? Never heard of it."

Leave it to Obama and the demonRATs. The solution is to candy coat dung and resell it as chocolate covered cherries. NEWS ALERT: Yo, Barry, yo RATs: Doesn´t matter what you call it, when you chip away the candy coating, it´s still dung.

These people beginning with the big muslim himself make me want to bend over and puke. Barry the incompetent says we need to re-brand and re market. Huh? Find a way to kid the public into thinking that the second, third, whatever time around is the charm? That it, Barry? And we´re supposed to believe that this time he´s telling the truth? This miserable shower singer is a perfected LIAR and the dung he´s selling will continue to be dung no matter how he repackages, resells, or rebrands it.

As someone here asked the other day, how pathetic are we as a nation when a team of con artists can take a political nobody, add the necessary frills, and successfully market him to the voters? Maybe we´ve learned and no one will buy into the "new and improved" version of the aca.

What a jerk--this is not a can of soda. If he rebrands it we´ll start calling it Obamacare II, like the second roll-out of New Coke became Coca-Cola II.

At least Coca-Cola changed the formulation for New Coke but Coca-Cola II (same new formula) also bombed.

The difference is that Coca-Cola had a product millions of people liked, so they were able to go back to it. No safety-net for a remarketing and rebranding for this flat old Kool-Aid he wants us to drink.

Hmmm. Maybe we should call any new rebrand Kool-Aid II. We can´t leave Obama´s name off it, though.

Obama will attempt to sucker the Republicans into going along with a bi-partisan "fix" which will give them the "ownership" of everything that turns out bad with Obama Care, and at the same time Obama will be taking a bow and credit for any aspects of that monstrosity that turn out to be popular for one reason or another. If the Republicans have any political smarts, they will push their own health care insurance plan and stay away from Obama Care.

Remember the Tylenol poisoning scare years ago, when a crazy man poisoned some packages? To liken that to Obamacare, we would have to assume Tylenol had intentionally marketed poison, and covered up the fact for as long as they could. So yes, rebranding may prove difficult.

Re-market and re-brand? Smoke and mirrors. Marketing and branding are how you trick people into thinking they need what you’re selling. Products live or die by how well they perform – not on the green Gecko making the pitch.

He’s confident it’s going to work? Yeah, and he’s also so smart that he would never have made glowing promises about how wonderful the law was going to be if he’d actually known what the h*ll was going on. In other words, how is his “confidence” reassuring when he’s already admitted he’s clueless?

RE-Market failed when Kathleen sat before the cameras with Obe at her side to personally prove the web site is fixed. The site crashed again.
Re- Brand probably doesn´t mean change the name just the bad reputation.
How that could be done involves a miracle and we now doubt the magic one can produce one.
The new poll today-- Obe 37%
The main drop it dead is the fact that now 69% of the independents want Obecare gone.
Goos grief even dem approval has fallen (% points and conservatives are like 7%.

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. "Has this changed your view of the mainstream media?" she asked. "No, I´ve always had the same view," Christie said, pointing out that anyone can be the "flavor of the month" in the media. "But I´ve always said to my folks in the party, we don´t get anywhere complaining about it either,"

In a way it´s the oddest bit of ObamaCare propaganda we´ve seen so far. "This Is What an #ACASurge Looks Like" was the title of a Saturday post on the White House Blog by senior communications adviser Tara McGuinness. "The line started forming at 5 a.m. in front of an enrollment center in Miami," McGuinness boasts. "The final deadline to get covered in 2014 is in just two days, and Americans are literally lining up at grassroots events across the country to make sure they´re covered. Suddenly ObamaCare is a roaring success, happy days are here again and liberals are euphoric, or claim to be. There are more than a few reasons to doubt this new fairy tale, not least the behavior of Senate Democrats running for re-election this year. In the Rose Garden Tuesday, President Obama reported that 7.1 million people had signed up so far, confirming a Monday night White House news leak. "That doesn´t mean all our health-care problems have been solved forever," he conceded with customary modesty. Vance McAllister, R-La. - who ahead of his election last fall ran multiple campaign ads trumpeting his faith and family - is seen kissing and embracing a woman for about 20 seconds at his Monroe, La., district office. The Ouachita Citizen reports the woman is the congressman´s 33-year-old part-time scheduler, who is also married.

Call it the million-worker mystery. A large chunk of American adults are no longer in the labor force. That has left economists divided over how many of them are voluntarily not working-or even looking for work-because they wanted to retire, go to school or take care of family members, versus how many have been forced out because they couldn´t find a job. (snip) Shierholz estimates that there are currently more than 5 million missing workers who are not included in the unemployment rate because they are neither working nor looking for work, but who might be if the job market

The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee says investigators have uncovered evidence that a former Internal Revenue Service official may have committed crimes as part of the agency´s tea party controversy. Rep. Dave Camp set a committee vote for Wednesday on whether to refer Lois Lerner, who used to head the agency´s tax-exempt division, to the Justice Department "for possible criminal prosecution." Camp, R-Mich., did not specify which laws Lerner may have broken. Lerner´s lawyer, William W. Taylor III, has said she broke no laws. On Monday, Taylor emailed this response to Camp´s announcement: "One word: Ridiculous." Camp´s committee has been investigating

The Democratic National Committee is furious by a conservative website’s ad campaign that depicts Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi clad in a bikini in a provocative pose with her tongue sticking out. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, called on Republicans to press Breitbart News to remove the artwork — one of several suggestive images on the website promoting the new California site. The image of Pelosi, beneath one of California Gov. Jerry Brown’s face photo-shopped onto a flexing body builder, includes the sub-head: “Because you can’t make this s— up.” “To say the least,

Add Bryan Cranston, the star of TV´s recent hit "Breaking Bad" and a new Broadway play about former President Lyndon B. Johnson, to Team Obamacare. In an interview with Yahoo News “global anchor” Katie Couric, the actor called Obamacare the highlight of President Obama´s legacy. “Now’s the time to stake a claim to leave your legacy,” he encouraged Obama. “I personally believe that his health care program is fantastic. Yes, there are problems. Anything worth while is going to go through a growing pains period. But this is his legacy and I think it’s a great one because I don’t

As the House prepares for several key votes on former Internal Revenue Service employee Lois G. Lerner and potential legal action, analysts say she and her attorney have mishandled their case by picking and choosing when they want to talk, and to whom they are willing to talk. Ms. Lerner faces a vote in the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Thursday that could begin the process of accusing her of contempt of Congress. The Ways and Means Committee announced that it will hold a vote Wednesday on whether to officially accuse Ms. Lerner of breaking the law by

COLLEGE STATION, Tex. — With eyes increasingly on him, Jeb Bush signaled on Sunday the kind of campaign he would mount if he runs for president, one arguing against ideological purity tests while challenging party orthodoxy on issues like immigration and education. Even as he sharply criticized President Obama for his handling of foreign affairs and health care, Mr. Bush made clear that he would run against the style of politics that has characterized recent Republican nominating contests. He said he would decide by the end of the year, in part on whether he thinks he could avoid “the vortex of
